We had a lovely visit of Geneva with Diana. Very interesting and entertaining!

Great introduction to the city. Nicolas was friendly and covered various aspects of what makes Geneva and Switzerland unique including the history, culture and political system.

This was my first time doing a free walking tour and it was incredible! Our guide Nicolas was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. He shared the history of Geneva in such a compelling and memorable way that I was able to impress my Swiss friends with what I learned. We talked about everything from direct democracy and Swiss neutrality to the story behind the breaking of the chocolate pot. I highly recommend this tour.

I did a tour on the past Saturday. Nicolas was an amazing guide, with good knowledge, local, and made an enjoyable and fun experience The tour covered the essentials on Geneva city center.I really recommend it. And be punctual, like good Swiss they are, they start at time :)

Had a wonderful tour with Nicolas! The tour lasts about 2.5 hours (we took a ~10 minute break at St. Peters Cathedral), but flies by. The guide is super knowledgeable about the city and the history and delivers everything in a very well-paced engaging way. He answered all our questions (even my very niche ones.Even on a chilly December day the tour was spectacular. If youre only in Geneva for one day this will bring you to all the spots you should see and Nicolas provides great local recommendations (none are sponsored or partnership situations.Could not recommend this more.

Nicolas was so good at mixing history with tips and fun facts. I definitely recommend for tourists as well as people who just moved here, to know more about Geneva and Swiss culture. The tour lasted almost 2.5h but you see so much you don’t even notice!

We had a very nice local tour guide. He does the tour purely to inform people about the city and Swiss history in general, no awkward stops at any shops or cafés they cooperate with. Very informative two and a half hour walk, answered our questions in detail, and told quite a few small insider stories you only here from a chill local. We would love to spent more time with him walking through Geneva!

Free Walk Geneva gave me an appreciation of Geneva that I would otherwise not have had during my short two day stay. Jane, our guide, was phenomenal. Perhaps because she is an anthropologist that she knew much more than most tour guides. (And I have been on many tours.). I honestly didn’t think we would learn so much based on the few sites listed on the itinerary. Yet Jane brought in information that were historical, political, religious, and cultural. She had many interesting stories that were inspiring. What a great day - what a great visit because of her.

A great tour of Geneva on Christmas Day! Alex, our guide, was super knowledgeable and very proud to tell us everything there is to know about Geneva. There isn’t much to do on Christmas Day in Geneva but the tour was still running and Alex was also very helpful will telling us what else we could do in the city.

We enjoyed 2 very different tours on the same day. One with Luis in the old city and the other with Nicolas for the international organizations. Both men were a font of information and very generous with their attention to all of the group’s questions. I would highly recommend these tours!

What a great concept and organization ! This group does not work with tourist bureaus so they are not beholden to advertising. They also want to offer such a service to continue to make Switzerland accessible to most people. The guide was born and raised in Geneva. The tour was appropriate length and well paced with organized body breaks (water bottle refills and bathroom breaks). A wonderful way to spend a Sunday while everything is closed. I would highly recommend to any friend or colleague visiting switzerland any time. I wish they would post their tips on affordable living in Geneva on their website.
