Very good ice cream, but only possible to pay with cash.

A completely average ice-cream.Terrible personal. If you buy an ice cream, they wont let you seat to eat. They drop you away very rudely.¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Its NOT the same Fontanella as the spaghetti-eis creator!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cash only. Considering this ice cream parlor is on the main drag where tourists might be the employees were very rude to non German-speaking customers.

Ice cream is soso , the waiter somebody is very rude !!

The waiters outside are very rude!!!I waited for more that 10 min and then he treated me really bad because supposedly you can’t order and seat in the patio. I didn’t know because nobody told me and they don’t have a sign. after ordering a few drinks the waiter screamed at me a he kicked me out of the patio and told me to go with my drinks in my hands, even when there was many empty tables. Never coming back. Not special ice cream, slow service, rude waiters.

The waiter with the beard is very rude. He told us to go because we ordered milkshake that supposedly is for takeaway. He didn’t tell us the rule in the beginning, instead at the end when we were done ordering after waiting so long. Had we known that silly rule we would have not ordered there. The other staff was very friendly though.

My family ( 4 years & 2 yearsand I visited the ice cream parlour because of its good reviews.The online photos don’t match the reality. The gentleman who served us was quite unfriendly which turned into a unpleasant experience, for me and my kids - no smile and rather annoyed.We won’t visit this shop again.Ice cream taste was Ok.

I bought an ice-cream cone and tried to have it inside. The lady rudely stopped me and told me to go eat it outside. She only spoke in German to me although I clearly couldnt speak it. She was rude and abrupt, and I will certainly never return there.Also, the ice cream was just OK.

Had tiramisu and fresh orange juice. Both were yummy and the cake was too delicious 😋

I couldn’t give it a zero. I went in with my mother and brother. Had a middle-aged man serve us and he is in dire need of an etiquette course. Super rude! Got annoyed when we were deciding what to order (mind you it was our first time here so did not know what to get). Then he wasn’t happy that we chose to dine in! Checked our vaccination certificates as if we were on the interpol most wanted. In hindsight, should have left there and then without giving him business. Anyway, had their icecream, vegan chocolate cake and cheesecake. All of them were quite average/below average. I’ve had way better with an amazing service.

The staff here are extremely rude and disrespectful. The ice-cream is basically the same as you’d get in a supermarket, if even at that level and the prices are not good.

Great gelato 🍧 for affordable prices. The staff was super friendly and the ice cream is delicious! They have many vegan flavors-even some super interesting ones like banana-cranberry-cashew and Rhubarb-elderflower. Totally recommendable!

Amazing ice cafe in the centre of Frankfurt. A huge selection of ice cream and sundaes and its nice inside. It seems you can sit outside as well.

There are so many options of flavors here. You can also find vegan gluten-free acai icecream! During summer time lunch breaks the line is very long. The stuff is very friendly.

We visited Fontanellas several times this summer. The ice cream is very good, great flavors. However, customer service is really bad. Somebody should teach the staff how to laugh and communicate with the customers.
