Before the 4/8/2020 Peer Blast it was a tipical french bistro very cosy. The staff was very professional and friendly. I do hope it will comme back very soon.
Nice food. Affordable price . Very good place. Dessert was great.
Clean place, tasy food, wide variety.
Food is good but the setting could be better.
Nice place, cosy yet distinguished. Friendly service and very tasty food. Good quality/ price ratio
Excellent and classy French cuisine restaurant, great ambiance, nice music and friendly staff.
First experience nice food but it was almost all aged people above 60 years and the waiters always staring at
Great food in a nice ambience.
Very nice place located in Sursock Street, the ambience is inviting, warm, and cozy, the staff is professional and friendly. The food is tasteful and delicious.
What a wonderful place to spend your wednesday night at!! With a band that plays lovely arabic, english and french songs, the ambiance is just perfect for gathering, reunions and even a date. The service is FAST, the waiters and everyone are friendly and VERY professional, everything on the menu is quite delicious, I ordered the meal I had TWICE. The food is so clean.Enjoyed every second and went home with a full stomach!! Highly recommended.
Very good food
Excellent food. Needs redecoration
Lovely french bistrot nearby sursock museum . Been there over lunch for a special occasion. It was the perfect setting of fine dining experience . Loved the decoration . It reminded me of restos in france. Food was amazing . We shared the salade de chèvres with perfect sweet seasoning . Than took filet australien grain fed for main course with side of mashed potatoes. Fred sauce and mushroom sauce were equally yummi . The fillet were cooked to our taste.. Place was full. Service was good despite the fact than waiter forgot our dessert ( creme brûléeso it was worth the wait ...
Great romantic dinner and even better food taste
Always as existing to visit
The place is just beautiful...but the steak is not up to my favorite taste. The charcoal tastes too much . However the sauce is delicious and fries are awesome
Lovely place and great food
More suitable for winter. Very good food. Pricy as expected. Lovely ambience.
Best Fillet in Town
Food was excellent
Ordered foie Gras, salmon and shrimp ravioli. Wasnt wow. Price is high for what we had. Also didnt like the pushy waiter trying to convince us to take the sole at 88k!!
Excellent French cuisine
The place is very charming and has an excellent location. The waiters are very friendly. The food had its ups and downs. The Risotto and Ginger ice cream were delicious.
Amazing food and restaurant very friendly staff had a great time.
A place with good taste and delicious food. Had my first mussels soup this year. Superb. Service remarkable
The experience at FRED is as expected. The food was great, the fillet was tender with a great taste, the pasta also was more than average. The staff is well trained and friendly. The only thing that can be improved is that the chairs and tables are closely spaced, not much room between adjacent tables. Recommended.
Excellent cuisine and fast service
Cozy ambiance. Food is amazing! Everything is right on point from the music to the staff, food and selection of wine.
Visited the bistro with a large group of people and despite the commotion the staff managed perfectly and were very friendly. The food was very good and the contrast between the cuisine and the old lebanese structure make it a memorable experience
The best steak I ever had in Lebanon is in Fred Bistro. This is a serious restaurant. i like it, a lot!
The service is amazing and the place is really nice
one of the best kitchens in Beirut , with a very nice staff and very good prices , (which is hard to find in Beirut :)
Very good food, a bit pricey
Fantastic food, great service.
Good food, classy restaurant
Nice cozy place for a romantic dinner, mostly french cuisine..
Cosy agreeable both for business and private. Exquisite environment and attentioned waiters. Superb cuisine I advise enjoying tartare de bar, simply delicious and if you are a fan of creme brulee, then you shall reach heaven. Bon apetit
Good restaurant, food, decor, atmosphere, great for lunch businesses. good service and nice staff.
Very tasty
Refined food and atmosphere in the middle of Achrafieh
Nice food but the service is very bad
I would not go back to Fred French Bistro because if you are looking for a French bistro there is a better one that I know of. On a positive note, I thought that the interior was nice, with its stone walls and arches. Also, one of the walls was divided into a grid encompassing different painted plates; I thought that was a pleasant artistic feature. We commenced with bread and butter, served in a basket. For a starter, we ordered the home smoked salmon salad. The only thing that had a fresh taste in that salad was the salmon; it was like they had removed a ready-made cold salad from the fridge, and added the salmon on top of it as a cover-up. For mains, we ordered the fish and filet (steakplatters. The fish was overcooked and dry, and the vegetables and sauce failed to moisten it. As for the meat, well, it was delicious and tender. However, it was comically small (especially for the price tag); I would call it a bite which could easily fall under the starters’ section. We then ordered the creme brulee for dessert, which was good, and it came in an interesting glass vessel. Honestly, apart from the cuisson of the meat, our taste buds were left unsatisfied.
We had more than a satisfying experience in Fred bistro. The outlet is amazingly awesome. Beautifully designed and decorated. The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. We felt welcomed all the time. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food was very descent. Steak was well cooked. Thumbs up for the croque monsieur and framboise a la fraise. Its a bit Pricey restaurant but the experience is worth it.
Everything was impeccable! From the service to the food. Bravo Alfred!
Chef Sylvain Arthus is really one of the best chefs in Lebanon
