Great little gem in South city. It has been there for a long time, but my wife and I just recently tried it. And Im so glad we did. I had the Snitzel and I must say. It was DELICIOUS.
MoreSome fellas were pretty loud next to us but food was great. Cocktails fabulous. Place has interesting decor!!!!
MoreIf you want great food, insane cocktails and friendly service then this place will make for a fun time. Whats funny is that we came for the fish and ended up get the steak and fries and the pork schnitzel. We ordered the “Who Goes There” drink. You really have to try it. One of the most awesome drinks ever. If Al is your server then not only will you have a great experience, excellent service but a remembule experience. Order the “Who Goes There” you won’t regret it.I’m really looking forward to coming back here the next time I’m in St. Louis.
MoreDelicious cocktails and a wonderful selection of food options! Went as a party of five, and all were happy with the drinks and food choices. The only downside is that parking can be a bear. Also, make sure to have a reservation, because it gets busy on weekends.
MoreGreat cocktails.9-22We had our first meal in Frazers dining room this weekend and were not disappointed. We have eaten in the bar many times but finally got a table. Want a special sit down, delicious meal, get a reservation and eat in the dining room. Want a fun, high energy meal? Sit in the bar and order food there. Either way the food and drinks are top notch. Try the Devil in a blue dress.
MoreThe food here is quite good and surprising filling. Prices are fair for a higher end restaurant and their signature drinks are an experience complete with smoke and a hooded man saying "who goes there!!". The vibes are very romantic and id highly recommend bringing a date here. You probably want to make a reservation but Ive found that same day booking is possible
MoreThe restaurant experience was great until we received the check. The waitress was full of personality and new the menu inside-out. She made recommendations for food and drinks and even know what went into every cocktail on the menu. The drink that I received was watered down and just did not taste right. She asked me if I would like something else and I said yes. She took away my drink and replaced it with another one that I enjoyed. When the check came I told her that they did not take off the first drink. She said that she asked the manager and he said that there was nothing wrong with my cocktail and I have to pay for it.I asked for the manager to stop by and see us. He is clearly untrained to work in a high end restaurant just by the way he spoke and handled himself. He said that the drink was fine and I have to pay for it. I reminded him that the waitress took the cocktail away, she never brought it back saying that I have to drink it. I just got billed for it. He informed me that he can make another drink for me to replace it. I told him that we are done with diner and I am not going to have another cocktail. I reminded him about customer service and that we just spent over $100 for just two of us. Why would you even be having this conversation with us. He went on to compare his restaurant with McDonalds. I told him to just stop please. If you think that this is comparable to McDonalds than you have lost me.I do hope that the restaurant owner reads this review and either fires this idiot or train him properly on how to treat customers.Nabil
MoreThis was the 1st time I went here and all I can say is awesome, from the customer service to the food and the drinks , me and my lady was on a date night and this was a perfect place for that , are server Monica who I think 🤔 should be the owner lol was phenomenal, attentive, very knowledgeable and very nice 😊 Thankyou Monica again for a enjoyable evening
MoreExcellent food and table service. Been here twice, and would go more often if we lived closer!!
MoreWent for our anniversary dinner and so glad we did. Everything and I mean everything was good, the ambiance, service, food, and drinks. Everything we tried had so much flavor and the drinks were unique and yummy. I would suggest trying the Pineapple Head cocktail, we had 3! The New Orleans BBQ shrimp was perfection, we were so tempted to order another one. They even gave us free dessert for our anniversary and that was the best key lime pie I’ve ever had. Solid date night spot.
MoreWonderful dinner. Lucas was a terrific server and the drinks and food were outstanding. Cant wait to go back!
MoreNice South City STL neighborhood restaurant with a large varied menu selection. The staff are all eager to provide a great dining experience. The only issue is finding a place to park in the neighborhood during peak dining hours. I ordered the grilled salmon, sesame cabbage slaw, mashed potatoes with gravy & a margarita.
MoreBest Key Lime Pie… possibly anywhere. I get key lime pie everywhere I travel. Prior to this, the best I had was at a place called the Crazy Crab on Hilton Head Island. I took one bite, barely even thinking about that, and had to immediately put down my fork and message my buddy who also shares the same quest for the best key lime pie. It really is unbelievable.Drinks are excellent, I had the Five Points and strongly recommend it for any whiskey drinkers. The food menu is excellent as well, on this occasion we split the Filet Mignon for my birthday and it definitely did not disappoint.I consider myself a pretty decent cook and there’s very few restaurants where I eat something and go, “I most certainly could not make that…” Frazer’s is one of those. They were also extremely accommodating for our infant who we have now brought with us twice there with no issue sitting outside.
MoreThe mussels and fries are a must have!! And you cant go wrong with any of the drinks! The seafood pasta was one of the specials and it was to die for!Edit: went again tonight with girlfriends and once again, was please with every aspect of the meal!
MoreGreat food. Fun drink experiences and wonder service!!
What a gem! My favorite spot in St Louis, already planning to visit next year! I recommend the Salmon Frazier…and definitely order a who goes there!!!
MoreAlways wonderful. The halibut was perfection! Our server, Al, was delightful!
I’m not sure why I’ve came back to this place more than once. Been here 3 times and every time the service is never good. I think we keep hoping they’ll redeem themselves because they have a creative drink menu but then the drinks are kind of smoke in mirrors- fun looking but not as good as they look.
MoreLove this place. It’s expensive but the drinks, food and atmosphere make up for it. Staff is wonderful!
MoreSteak burger was awesome, fries were pretty good too for homemade. Restaurant started to get busy and staff forgot about us for a short time. Food was good though
MoreFour of us when out to eat here for the first time. I had the dirty chick and my spouse had the creole pasta. The food was Amazing!!
MoreWe had an amazing dinner at this place all the food was great. Nate was an amazing server. All of our food was great. The atmosphere was extremely trendy and full of life. The bartenders were making up some extremely interesting drinks with all kinds of the specials
MoreOne of the best restaurants in StL! The food and the service are absolutely exquisite. We spent approx $60 per person. 3 adult beverages, 2 salads, and 2 entrées. My only regret is not having photos to share.
MoreThis is a great place for dinner and drinks. The food is very good. The cocktail, beer, and wine options are tasty. The servers and bartenders are fun. The decor and ambience are unique. Its not an economy option, but the prices are relatively reasonable and youll have a hard time finding better quality for less.
MoreI called this restaurant to make a reservation after the online platform directed me too. The younger gentleman that I spoke to told me that I needed to get there at 5-515 when they open to get our table for a birthday dinner at 6. Upon arrival, I told the lady at the hostess stand that we had a party for 18. She responded "18" with large eyes, and told me to wait while she went to speak to a gentleman. They both came back and long story short, refused to take our party. I, in a panic, explained that I had called before having 16 other individuals in route from Illinois, as my husband was still parking the car. They said it must have been their newer server, and that they would talk to him. I then asked for 3 tables of 6 spread out, and was told they had too many reservations to accommodate that, meanwhile, I literally watched them seating table after table without reservations as that was the first question asked when you walk in. There was no empathy, no trying to work with us. Honestly, just plain rude. I had to redirect our party of 18 to another restaurant where we ordered drinks and apps at the bar. After a 2 hour wait we were seated. I could say it ruined our night, but with the initial experience just walking through the door, Im glad we didnt eat there. Our party spent almost $2500.00 at the restaurant we went to. (We drink, order apps, eatour server was tipped over $300.00, and we were at least able to enjoy the other place. We like to explore and try new places. I was excited to try this place, but wont be back. It would have been different if they handled it differently, even if we still had to find another place.
MoreThis is our go to place. Hubs took me to dinner for my birthday and this place never fails us! Apps and salads are so good as well as main course.
MorePaid $26 for the “special” which was some bland pasta, that was my first red flag. The initial wait wasn’t bad, but then it took us over two hours to get through our meal to the check. Used to love this place, but honestly probably wouldn’t recommend after this last visit. Gone downhill.
MoreExcellent. Unique cocktails, great ambiance, and excellent food. Our server Nate was great as well - knowledgeable and had good suggestions based on our wants. So glad we came here for dinner!
MoreThe food was fantastic, the restaurant has a great vibe and super fun and creative drinks delivery. Highly recommend the mussels which is great to share!
MoreI have had dinner at Frazers several times and have always had amazing food. However, last week was different. My table of 4 ordered our appetizers, salad, and entrees all at the same time. Our BBQ shrimp appetizer (which I have had many times before), was rubbery and dry. Our entrees took over an hour so we ended up placing them to go instead. At one point we were without food on our table for over 30 minutes once we were finished with the appetizers. My wifes goat cheese salad was never brought out she had to remind the server she wanted it to go. Once we got our food home, we realized the salad did not have any dressing, my steak was overcooked and had a burnt taste. I had to throw it away I was so disgusted. My wife got the mahi special which was a small piece of fish and the mashed potatoes were bland. We spent over $130 on dinner and could barely eat a fraction of it.I only gave 2 stars because the drinks were delicious and our server was super nice. My wife messaged the restaurant privately on social media but no one responded. We are very upset this happened and are not sure we will return. It is a shame because it is one of our favorite spots.
MoreWe started with the zucchini and feta appetizer, and that was very good. I enjoyed the mixed grill kebab. The Caeser salad was way small and just ok for $9. Id recommend skipping the salad and getting another drink. The drinks were all great. Cool atmosphere and nice people.
MoreMy first visit the mahi-mahi dish was excellent the drinks were definitely different in a good way.
MoreThis was a great dinner, went here for my wife’s birthday. The service was good and server was very helpful with recommendations about drinks (they have a huge cocktail menu, like 40 of something like that), we started sharing the stuffed dates and the mussels with fries and both of those were super tasty. My entree was the seafood pasta, which I really enjoyed but it was a little fishy, so if that bothers it might be a problem.Another thing that made the night great was when I ordered my drink “Who goes there?”, the server brought it to me dressed up and it’s a whole thing, you should order it it was fun and the drink was good. Overall a really good meal.
MoreGreat service. Great cocktails. Great food. We finally made it to Frazer’s for a date night and we were absolutely blown away. The Steak Frites was extremely tender and cooked perfectly, while the fires were crispy and tasty. Highly recommend stopping in for anything on the menu.
MoreCame for drinks after work. Great atmosphere. The drink menu is a bit overwhelming but shout out to Beth, our server. She was delighful and suggested GREAT drinks. Will definately be back. Hopefully for some happy hr prices lbvs.
MoreI had a few cocktails and then the shrimp scampi for dinner. All were very good. I sat at the bar and Nate and Drew were the best!!I will be back soon. Great Place!
MoreThis restaurant absolutely deserves a 5-star rating. From stellar service to the amazing atmosphere, you will be captivated and making plans to come back before you even leave. Our cocktails and entrees were presented with thoughtful details and were delicious. We cant wait to come back and further explore the menu.
MoreThe ambiance was weird in a cool way, the wait staff was awesome and friendly. The menu read very well with so many great options! That said, each dish that came out was okay. Nothing was wrong, but the menus described works of art, and the plates delivered...food.I would totally eat here again if invited, but there are too many restaurants in STL to try for this to go on rotation.
MoreI have dined at this restaurant MANY, MANY times! So much so that they recognize us when we go there....which is nice when they acknowledge and greet you in a way that lets you know theyre happy to see you dine with them again. They have an extensive menu that changes with the seasons when fresh, local products are available for them to use. The cocktails are very creative, and they have an extensive wine list. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful establishment!
MoreAmazing atmosphere with unique drinks! Can’t wait to go back and try the food for real next time!
MoreTook a friend here that was visiting from out of town. The food was great! We shared the stuffed dates. We both had the halibut special and then split a pice of key lime pie! Looking forward to visiting again! Highly recommend!
MoreFabulous!! The best Halibut Ive ever had. Great vibe atmosphere, service, and food.
MoreYes! Yes! Yes! Excellent from corner menu presentation to capture those who drive by to welcoming host upon entrance to efficient server to fine dining. The atmosphere was relaxing & the decor was detailed down to the restroom. This is definitely the must go to place. My Goat cheese salad was a must have. The blackened salmon with rice & red beans was surprisingly delicious because I usually prefer mashed potatoes w/ salmon & topped w/ sesame seed slaw, paired with an Excellent Cabernet wine selection. I am so pleased.
MoreLunch here is phenomenal during bike races. Its also one of the best places in town for dinner. Half of the menu is off menu so there is always something interesting to try. However the real show stopper is the cocktails. They have excellent standards and creative originals. Definitely check these guys out if youre into pretentious cocktails.Admittedly the wife and I would head here at least a few times a month before the pandemic. Eat and drink our faces off on a Thursday night after long days at work and stumble home happy and full. Remember those days?!Update: I ordered the "Who goes there?!" Its delivered to you in a smokey lantern! When the waiter delivers it they yell out "who goes there?!" while holding it up as if trying to see you through the fog. Hilarious!
MoreSome of the best food in the area! The service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Some items on the menu are pricy, but worth it and they have some options at a more reasonable price such as the burger.
MoreI had never heard of this place but just happened to stop in because the Venice Cafe does not serve food but I heard it was a very artsy place. This place is a real foodie venue. Upscale but not too snobby but a bit shabby if you look around at the finishes especially the chairs. The food was fabulous as well as the artisan cocktails. Omg it pops was quite a delight! The bacon wrapped meatloaf was wonderful, I saved the leftovers and made an egg sandwich with it the next morning which was phenomenal!
MoreEclectic menu featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes. The schnitzel and steaks were personal highlights for my group. They were able to accommodate all 12 of us during a weekday with Little advanced notice. The drink menu is also quite expensive and there are a large number of signature cocktails. The smoke old fashioned and screaming viking come to mind as particularly ambitious drinks. Parking can be found on surrounding streets and it is walking distance from Budweiser.
MoreBad news first. I was mildly disappointed in my entree. (Notice it still got five stars). I got cioppino, a special, and it was underwhelming. Everything else was superb. We had a few cocktails, and they were the best weve had since Randolfis closed. The decor was cute but not obnoxiously so. My wife said they lost points because Dumb and Dumber was playing in the bar, but you couldnt hear it. Her meal was delicious-a kind of mushroom Wellington, another special. Most of all, Al, our waiter, was incredible. Always there when we needed him without hovering, and his suggestions were all great. Vegetarian-friendliness: high. Many regular menu items and specials were vegetarian.
MoreLoved the atmosphere. Creative drink but over priced, Fizz Pop. It was like an orange sherbet punch. Decent food. Arugula salad with pecans, strawberries, vinaigrette with a goat cheese crouton and grilled chicken. Pleasant wait staff. Limited parking.
MoreOne of the nice fine dining restaurants in the city, they offer a top-flight menu, and the chef and kitchen staff do an outstanding job. The wait staff are very well trained, and it has a very refined, comfortable ambiance.
