It’s a nice private collection made available to the public. I appreciated the little stories that made each collectible unique. You do have to reserve online now before coming which was surprising to me as I haven’t had to do it last time. The gate attendant was super nice and helpful though as we didn’t have a phone with an internet connection with us as we were standing at the front gate.

A very interesting exhibition of a great variety of cars. A must visit for all. This will take you by surprise. Just go there!

Really up-market, clean, amazing experience. The staff are all pleasant. The guide we had was excellent and knowledgeable (I dont know how she does itand the exhibitions really well executed. Cant wait to go back when it changes again. Small price for big excitement. Car enthusiasts rejoice.

Franschhoek took my breath away, what a beautiful town situated between the mountains. Loved the motor museum, the vehicles on display is amazing, the venue professionally run with friendly people. I can hardly believe that such a place exist. Amazing and Brilliant.🌹

Absolutely amazing experience. If you enjoy history and cars it is the perfect way to spend a day. Ask for a tour guide to accompany you it will make the experience even better.

Horrible experience with the guard house with the security staff being rude and not helpful.The ladies at the reception definitely made up for it. They do an amazing job.Place is very interesting for a first time visit and car enthusiasts.Driver of car can be friendlier if his job is to take paying visitors around - need some serious PR training.

A must visit for those who appreciate not just cars, not just history but life. A well curated display of phenomenal classic, vintage and modern cars that alternates through the season and displayed in four warehouse set on the impressive Anthonij Rupert Wine Farm. A museuem that warrants multiple visits as only 80 of the 300 odd cars can be on display at any given time. A lovely journey through history, motoring and life.

Super interesting exhibits. Some one off cars and rareties for SA like a mustang bakkie / ute, DeLorean. Pity the ferraris are not on display now but they do apparently rotate lot of the runners every few months. Plan to spen 1-2 hours.

Definitely worth visiting.The cars on show get rotated from time to time, so youre likely to see something else every time.The coffee shop is excellent, they have an amazing blend of beans specially made for the museum and the doughnuts are truly exceptional.Be sure to book tickets though, as you need to reserve a spot, it is not open to walk-ins.

A really nice experience seeing cars youll never see again. From the very old to the modern. However, not really for small kids as you cant touch any of the cars. And thats all they would want to do.

The layout has changed since the last time I was here. No longer based on age but rather on country of origin.

What an awesome museum, stunning collection of cars that will excite every car enthusiast. Pristine condition vehicles with such rich history. Definitelya must see place that is well worth the entrance fee. I learned that there are also open days when they start up all the vehicles and spectators are allowed to come in.

Great selection of cars, they change a barn every few months. It’s about 4 barns full of about 20 car each ranging from to 1900 to early 2000s.

This was a lovely experience seeing cars from all times in 4 huge rooms. You need to buy your entrance admission in advance, which we quickly did on our phones. I have so many photos, more than Ive posted here! If you love older cars, this is a must to see.

Good experience alot of cars, although must remind people to review the website before going to view whats on show, missed out on the Ferrari display, but other than that the place was amazing, well curated and great easy service.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the antique cars and each having a write up on model and performance was very interesting.

Beautiful cars, each one with some detail of its history. A few bikes for the bike lovers. Overall very interesting and we had a lovely time as a family. There is a coffee shop as well as a wine and souvenir shop. The only slightly annoying thing was even though you can visit anytime now (Apr 2022you have to buy your ticket online and then only ride in. We had to park outside the gate ,do the online booking and payment and then we could drive in. But otherwise, it was awesome and staff was friendly.

Been to the Museum a few times and it never ceases to amaze. Great outing for car enthusiasts and people who just like to see cars from years gone by.

Enjoyed the museum but even more enjoyed the car ride which you can book at an addtional cost, of R80. Though the ride was not very smooth since the BMW I was in refused to change into 2nd gear

This is a world class collection of motor vehicles of all time periods. A must see for any motor enthusiast. Surprisingly affordable to enter. You have to make a booking to enter.

The site is beautiful and the collection contains old vintage cars as well as some modern classics.

Probably one of the better collections in the world . Old cape Dutch buildings converted to a museum, in the beautiful cape winelands area and surrounded by the mountains. You dont ha e to only be a car lover to appreciate this . 4 buildings filled with cars and best of all is that the cars a rotated with those in the workshop. So every time you visit you bound to see a few new vehicles.

If you have even the slightest interest in cars, then you absolutely have to visit here. The museum has four warehouses of immaculately maintained cars stretching over the entire history of the automobile industry. A car lover’s dream.

A wide variety of beautiful old cars on display. Staff were friendly and could provide information about vehicles on display. Four stars because you have to make a reservation to visit and the coffee shop on the premises is very basic.

Beautiful day spent here, lovely cars on display, and even the drive to the museum was stunning! Went with a friend who is also a car enthusiast so we really had a great time, took my 14 year old sister and she enjoyed herself too. This is really a place for anyone. Oh, and the food was great too!

The Franschhoek Motor Museum is a must visit for all petrol heads, car enthusiasts and lovers of all things nice. The beauty of these well kept and maintained pieces of vehicle history is something awesome to behold. The staff are very friendly and professional as you would come to know of museums that are well managed. Its located in such a beautiful area of the Franschhoek region. The drive in to the museum is so stunning and parking is well placed near the entrance. There is a restaurant and curio store inside with beautiful. Its always nice to visit and enjoy these classic and modern cars over the years.

Lovely car selection on show if you a fan. Disappointed the modern ones like Ferrari etc was not out on show.Pls advise enquirers of online booking requirements. We werent and had to do it at the gate.Coffee was good and biscuits on the side a nice touch.
