Franklins Restaurant - Restaurant in Limerick, Ireland
Recently found out that I am gluten intolerant and sometimes places can act like this is a hassle but here they made me the best sandwich I could have had and were happy to do so, will be back ! Good value and top quality wholesome food with great helpful servers.
2 pieces of pudding and 1 rasher 5.20 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and the young man behind the till comes over giving cheek cause I complained about it to the women serving me, tells me to put it back and not pay which I done. Talking about robbery and dealing with absolute bad attitude people.
Tasty fresh food, and great staff
Nice food and friendly staff...Will return
Nice food and found the staff very helpful and friendly
Had an nice coffee with family recently staff very friendly and helpful
The food was hot and fresh, had a lovely experience
Enjoyed my meal here. Staff were very nice
Great place for lunch on a busy shopping day. Lovely staff and coffee is great.
Wow wee that was the best vegetable soup I have ever consume in my life will be back again after I finish shopping:)
Great friendly staff, food was yum and served quickly ! Maeve on the counter was was efficient and made lovely coffee !
Had a bowl of soup here yesterday.. It was meant to be vegetable.. There was so much salt content I had to leave it. Asked for a pot of tea and was given a cup with a tea bag inside. The prices that are charged for extremely poor quality food is not acceptable.
The food was devine I would definitely recommend and the staff was lovely 😊
Best fish and chip in limerick. Always happy with my food especially with the quality in the last year.
The food is spot on , the chef came out of the kitchen and offered to make one of the nicest chicken burgers I have ever had. Very happy with the service. Cant wait to go back.
Shocking quality of food, had a hair in my food and wasn’t even given an apology. Completely overpriced for the quality of food and coffee was out of an old machine. Would not recommend
cold food. gave dirty cup of tea, it had stains from a cup that had coffee in it and hadn’t been washed in hot enough water!
Horrific service wouldnt come here if I was paid waiting 5 minutes for carvery then tried to order a sandwich and the guy told me to repeat it in English as he didnt understand my mullingar accent absolutely tragic never coming back might report it to the guards for harassment
expensive
Delighted with a filling dinner, the gravy was so good ,the staff were extremely friendly and lots of variety on the menu , also had my father with me (very fussy and he was delighted with the new rolls and menu variety ,huge difference made this year.
The food was disgusting. Soggy chips, soup like dirty dish water and the worst of all was the brown bread that was filled with human hair. I mean lots of hair.
Nice staff
lovely restaurant great food
Had a really horrible breakfast here just after Christmas. The only think ok was the tea.
Lovely
Excellent service and food. Great family restaurant
Lovely food and very friendly staff :)
Nice place good food
Food is always perfect, very nice staff.
Food was amazingStaff was super nice and super helpfull
Breakfast baguette was great! Friendly staff!
Good food and ok prices. No water station which was a bit disappointing, but ask the waiter and theyll give you some. The place here busy during the day, but plenty of options and the queue moves fast. They have a deli with salads, sandwiches, soups and plenty of carvery type lunches. Worth a visit
Food is great but no toilet :(
Food is awful cheap quality and customer service is pretty ignorant
Gets very crowded good restaurant pity about the desserts
Great food and great service
My mother and my sister in-law had breakfast here this morning and I have to say they where not impressed about the quality of the food. My mother had bacon, tomato, sausage and hash-brown out of these items the bacon was cold the tomato was like a rock the sausages where Luke warm and the hash-brown was just warm. My sister in-law had scrambled egg beans sausage and bacon and none of the items where what you call hot but warm. The price was €15 which was quite dear for poor quality food. Will not be returning.
Had Sunday lunch here with my son. Childs Chips and sausage was a good size portion if a little overcooked. The golden chicken that I had was wrapped in a mystery, wasnt sure if it was supposed to be battered or something else? The vegetables were aldente, the mash smooth and gravy ok. Nice size portion. Wasnt over crowded. Staff appear unhappy with no personal interaction. Childs dinner and adult dinner with juice and cup of tea came to €19
Just been to Franklins. 7.30 on Friday. No staff available. Girl cleaning tables completely ignored us. Staff member who had been behind till went into kitchen when we approached. Was left standing at counter so we left. Wont be returning.
Staff is OK but place looks reminds me of ordinary canteen, food was below average. I got full breakfast - 7 items out of which none was hot, sausages were warm but beans were simply cold. Coffee was good which saved it all for me but I wont go there again unless everything else around is closed and I was starving. A bit pricey too for the quality.
