Best (read strongestlatte Ive had in the Comox Valley. Berry muffin absolutely delicious and healthy tasting. Go for the quality and if you love friendly service. If you are in a hurry, might not be the best choice for you.

The staff are so friendly and fun here! Best sandwich and London fog I’ve had. A must visit if you’re in the area!!! 10/10

Wife and I went for a coffee whilst waiting for a local shop to open. A good choice. Had a cinnamon bun which we both thought the best we have ever tasted. The speedy buns we took for lunch also excellent. Staff very helpful and entertaining not surprising there were many returning customers

Everything made from scratch. Delicious .2022 update; limited seating and staff support people to reserve seats before they order by placing a bag on table in front of chair. Then if you are ahead in the line and try to sit there to enjoy dine-in, staff loudly accuse you of stealing a seat, from someone that arrived after you. Stupid and rude of them.

A great place to support local and get your morning fill! We arrived right at 9:00am as we were headed out of town and unfortunately many of the treats were not yet available.Reviewing a 5/5 for what we DID enjoy - an oat milk latte with their house made vanilla syrup (though not much vanilla to taste)The breakfast bar - very filling, easily shareable and a peanut butter lovers dream.Support local!

Went to Frankie Jos today to try one of their cinnamon buns. Cinnamon buns sell fast and were gone. I had the vegetable tart instead and it was absolutely 💯 more than I expected! So much vegetables and flavour! It also was quite filling. Im already planning to grab some of these for a upcoming camping trip! Flavour party!

Great little place to come for baked items or lunch. Had a panini and it was so very good. Fresh bread, fresh vegetables what more can you ask for. Great service too!

Okay, where to start!Sandwiches - 5+ stars, fresh and tasty and absolutely delicious.Baked Goods - 5+ stars, Im not a fan of sweets myself but I can eat their cinnamon buns any day! I have purchased sweets for others from here they they all have said the products are fresh, not grossly sweet, but perfectly yummy.The staff - 5+ stars. Love when a small business is just so inviting and friendly. Always make me feel welcome.I wish them the very best.

And if you like sausage rolls youll be in Heaven - but get there early or youre going to be sad!Good staff, nice location, great selections of treats and coffee. Our fave.

I met with 2 friends for coffee today. The place was bright and pleasant with minimal decor. My latte was very good, but the cinnamon bun was superb. I highly recommend those! There was a variety of tempting baked goods, some wheat-free. Prices were typical, service was friendly and the cafe is obviously popular. I will definitely go back.

The kindest people, they opened the doors even though I was early and they totally asked me what snack I was looking for and they got it for me even though it wasnt time to put food out yet.And THE BEST FOOD, GOOD START BARS. Enough said!

I am quite fond of this little bakery/cafe. The staff are very friendly and I love the coffee. The decor is nice and I when I stop in in the morning they have yummy fresh muffins.

Not a good experience at all! We placed our order with what was available on the counter and instead of setting the dessert aside they resold it to the people that ordered after us. Also, the corn chowder was more of a veggie chowder with raw potatoes and zucchini 😕. Sent back the full bowl and not even a suggestion for a replacement or refund. Will definitely not be going back👎👎👎**I was asked for a substitute dessert not the soup. The tarts were $3something each (×2and I only received $8 back. Not sure how that equals a refund for the soup as well?

A bit out of the way from the usual fair on 5th st, and definitely worth the short walk. Why? Two words. Sausage roll. Best I have ever had. Oh, and they know that coffee isnt a drink to be toyed with. They brew it with respect.

Coffee is great, baking is delicious down home delights, and the soups and sandwiches Ive tried have been delicious. I love to take out of town visitirs there for coffee or lunch.

Great service, cute place, nice selection of food though lacking in vegan choices (isnt everywhere in the Valley though?!). Sadly I wont be going back though as the de-caff still has way too much caffeine in it for me :(

Frankie Jos is a great addition to the Downtown core. While its not right on 5th street, the fantastic food, amazing vibe, and friendly staff make the extra few steps well worthwhile.Go for the snack or stay for a meal, you wont be disappointed.

Awesome place for friends, studying, or just some time alone. My sister and friend hung out here for an exorbitant amount of time and the owners were awesome. They even just laughed when my sister spilled water all over the floor. They were so accommodating when she also had to custom make her meal due to gluten intolerance. Prices on the higher side but I don’t mind paying that because the food is great. Definitely coming back.

Small and cosy. The food and coffee were good and the owner served us and was very friendly. He even laughed it off when my friend managed to spill a *lot* of water from the self-serve water "bar." Pleasant place! I gathered its owners are newly arrived from Vancouver and I wish them every success in their venture.
