I’m normally never the one to write a bad review but just don’t go here! Me, my sister and my brother in law came here for lunch and safe to say we’re never going back again. The service was excellent and everyone was pleasant except for the food. We ordered the whitefish sandwich and 6 hours later all 3 of us get the absolute worst food poisoning. They fed us contaminated fish. The sickness is still hitting me. Why is a nice Italian restaurant serving contaminated fish? Very disappointed.

I like the place, is very nice, the service is good, the food to, but, the menu is only about pasta and mostly the dishes taste similar, I know is a Italian restaurant, but I expect more variety on the menu.

Francescas on 95th was an all-around great experience. We ate with friends who had never visited Francescas, but after our dinner, they said that they would undoubtedly return sooner than later. All of the meals we ordered were delicious, the server was friendly and knowledgeable, and I had ordered a menu item gluten free with no trouble at all. We will return again for a delicious meal!

Always a wonderful time at Francesca’s! Great food, good atmosphere and great service. Definitely one of our “go to” spots for a family dinner or date night.

Stopped for lunch. Their vodka pasta was delicious - with pieces of fresh mozzarella on top. Service was excellent! Wish I lived nearby!

Ive been on other occasions and had exceptional service. Today was a good experience but service was not usually what it is. I still highly recommend this restaurant as it has great food and above average service.

Came in 2 weeks ago at 4:30pm for early dinner. There were 4 couples dining in, not busy at all. Our Fettuccine Alfredo was not fresh, very bland and shrimp was undercooked. Service was lacking for it not being crowded, no refills unless we flagged our server. An hour after we had eaten, our stomach was hurting, due to shrimp being undercooked. Server saw our plates were barely touched and didnt bother to ask if everything was ok, came home to throw out the dinners. Will not return.

We had a recurrent lunch reservation for a large group, which has been our annual event for many years. Unexpectedly, we were told that the private room was not available. It was tough to have a conversation in the common space with others eating and music playing. We are disappointed with that and will be reconsidering bringing groups here.However, on much more positive note, the lunch service was efficient an excellent with Jenna masterfully navigating individual orders and managing expectations. The options and the food were excellent, and I am told desserts did not disappoint.Overall, great for lunch but be cautious if using for business purposes, as standards have shifted since COVID. Ensure private room is reserved ahead of time--or find other spots nearby.

Great place for classic italian. Waitstaff is very friendly & the manager was so accommodating. We had a large party celebrating a graduation and they were more than willing to reformat the table layout so that the bulk of our group could sit together. Support great businesses like Francescas! The food and drinks are awesome!!!

Nice place. It was an unexpected nice place for are large crowd. They were very accommodating. This was our first visit, we plan on returning soon.

Food is Italian well prepared . Dining area is elegantly laid out. Dress attire would be a step above casual. Menu varies from pizza to shrimp dishes. Prices are above average but expected. There is table service with highly attentive waiter (Oscar), who made sure to explain any questions we had about the menu. I had the gulf shrimp risotto which was prepared perfectly. Other diners had the gnocchi, veal medallions, and scallops on fettuccine which were deemed excellent!. The empty plates are whisked away, water glasses refilled, wine poured from mini carafe ..all the things you expect but dont always see. Good choice for family dining .

Their soda was flat, they did not give you bread to snack on before the food and rhe Shrimp Scamp only had 3 shrimps. I will not be going back again.

I was very disappointed we sat down for dinner and when you have dinner at restaurant they bring water and Bread with butter not here at this restaurant the waitress was nice but I paid $30.00 and my sister paid $30.00 so that is $60.00 plus tip. And no bread .

Food was amazing we went here for my moms bday the waitress was soooo nice and friendly I can’t remember her name but I won’t forget the face I definitely want her when I go back clean classy and very good experience definitely would recommend

I had was so delicious to the point that I wanted to order another bowl. The noodles were fantastic they were thick and soft and the meat was cut perfectly. Im excited to come back soon.

Phenomenal staff and excellent food are what keeps us coming back. Their take-out is exceptionally packed and organized. Dining there is clean, safe and delicious. Prices have increased recently, but its worth it. Anytime you are looking for an intimate dinner for two or a special night out with friends, it is the place to go. Our go-to restaurant during the entire pandemic for fast, fresh dishes in a safe environment! Thank you, Francescas!

I went here for lunch with my team from work. The portion sizes were good... the lunch menu could have had more options though. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would go again just to see if the dinner menu has more options...

I eat at Francescas often. ALWAYS GREAT. interesting menu. They will cook to order. Just ask. Nice wine menu and delicious desserts. Staff always friendly. With their masks on it can be difficult to understand them. They have a real menu👍 Large spacious bar area. Try this gem of a restaurant.

Wanted to order food for curbside pick up to celebrate our anniversary. Thursday we looked at the menu, the Family Pack was 84.95, we have had it before and it is delicious. Could not order Thursday and decided we would get dinner Sunday, Prices have almost doubled, Thursday $84.95, Sunday $154.95. That is an insane increase and unfortunately will not be ordering family meals from here anymore.

Francescas is what I like to call the MOST CONSISTENT restaurant in Chicago!! Like they can do NO WRONG!! They are the model of excellence! Food is always great here! We celebrated our anniversary here AGAIN!! This is me and my wifes favorite restaurant we spent our wedding day here and weve spent plenty anniversaries here!!!

The staff was great here the food was fresh and delicious our server Oscar was outstanding from beginning to end. The manager Miguel was very welcoming and awesome. I celebrated my 51 birthday tonight with family

It was a surprise party for a dear friend. It was all paid for. Food delicious, service fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone. Bruschetta was the best, salmon well prepared, not fishy at all. Tu for a great time

Fresh and elegant food. Not enough seasoning for my palate. The roasted carrots with the chops were my favorite. Could have ate a plate of those.

This is a difficult review because the service was very good, our server, Irene, was excellent but I had some issues. First one was the pile of garbage blowing around/under a table and it wasnt until I took a pic (added to this postdid someone half sweep it up. Unacceptable in my book. Second was the food. I ordered a dish with penne noodles and light sauce and sausage slices topped with goat cheese (I wish I could remember the namebut I do not at all believe that the pasta was fresh. In fact I strongly believe it was boxed pasta boiled. This is not a discount, super inexpensive restaurant. I expected the pasta to be amazing and fresh. The sauce and sausage were very tasty, however.The portions were huge and I am a big guy yet Ill be having leftovers for 2 days. Id rather they offer a much smaller option for half the price.

This spot is a hidden gem. A little bit of classic Italian with downtown ambience. They played piano music it was soothing and enjoyable. This would be a great date spot or just a fresh breather I had mussel with calamari added in a red sauce. Delightful. Ill most definitely be back.

I had a nice time having dinner here with my companion. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Nice atmosphere. I had a Vesper martini which was quite good. Im going to be trying it again.

Happy hour deal on weekdays is pretty good for a usually expensive place to eat. Most things were $5 or $6. Pasta was delicious, bruschetta was extremely dry they should have put some balsamic or something on it! Our waitress (I think her name was Delaneywas such a sweetheart! Great attentive service

The food and service was great. We had a hiccup with an e-giftcard, but the manager tried it several times before directing us to call corporate for a resolution.

I loved this place! My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and the atmosphere was so perfect. There was a little candle on the table! The service was also amazing! Our food came so fast and our glasses were constantly being filled, I dont even know if they got to be half empty. One of the waiters gave us an extra serving of bread without us even having to ask. The food was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place, A+ service, atmosphere, and food. And the prices are not too bad considering how fancy I felt in there! The check wasnt too different from when we went to a regular Mexican place last week. For much better service and food✨

Grilled Calamari was really fresh and delicious. Lamb shank and polenta was a little pricey, but, very good. Great family place.

This restaurant has some of the freshest Italian food Ive ever had. The braised lamb shank is insanely good and the mozzarella is definitely made in house. Id go again for sure.

Recently visited this place because Coopers Hawk in Alsip had a two hour wait on a Sunday evening 😵 Well i must say i am glad i did. This place is a diamond in the rough! We had a large group bit it was only a 15 minute wait. The bread they gave was stunning, it was hot and crispy but melt in the mouth. Olive oil and parmesan cheese was quality. So this was a great start. The wine was good but expensive as expected. We found the same bottle at binnys for the same price as the glass. I had a roasted chicken and potatoes and it was delicious., i ate it all. Everyone else had pizza and they were great too. The kids meals were good too and they had gelato which was a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful place great wine list great food bartender Juan It was such a help. Great selection of wine at the Avalon cab. The Baratta salad was so fresh. Had a shrimp and fresh tomato pasta and then the fillet with spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. To top it off I had a sloppy sundae,My friend had flourless chocolate cake with mint gelato.

Very nice location with an outdoor patio and nice bar inside. The food and service were great. Great place for a date or a family dinner. The lighting is low but it seems it is at most of their locations. Food looked so good we picked in before I could take photos.
