Nice peaceful place
Beautiful view
AWESOME
Prompt service, we had the guacamole n tortilla chips, Frys, and 12 bone-in chicken wings. The appetizers were delicious alone and the chicken wings I could not eat them all they were so good and the fries were delicious. They get a five-star review from us. My first time eating here
Beautiful, connects to Glacial Drumlin Trail. One of my favs to bike and run
Very nice path to walk
Its a beautiful little boardwalk that can take you all the way to the area behind Target and Petco on Sunset. If I worked in any of the retail spaces over there, it would be a great place to take a break on a nice day. Didnt see any litter either which was refreshing.
Love this place. Im always at peace here.
Love walking on the trails along the river!
Beautiful river trail
A very nice place to get out of the truck to unwind and take a walk. The area is very Peaceful and full of bird species such as Morning Doves, Canadian Geese, Ducks and various Songbirds that perform a wonderful Consorto together. What appeared to be a Falcon stopped as I was walking to pose for a photo. The only disappointing thing was the graffiti that is sprayed on the concrete under the bridge. It is very sad to see the direction in which Our Country is heading !!!United We Stand - Divided We Fall 🇺🇸
Another beautiful well maintained Waukesha area trail and park.Nice paved trail. A little icy in spots.Nice trails through the woods and along the river.Geese and ducks on the river. A merganser entertained us with his swimming and diving skills.Cold winter day in the teens but the walk was still really nice.
Very nice to sit and talk and see if any critters make an appearance.
Beautiful cardinals...owls..saw 2 of them..deer in the early A.m....highly recommended in the very early 5ish time to see the sun come up...serene.
Its beautiful, its nature . Everyone should go there and just hang out
The scenery was awesome and so was the walk but the smell was not ok. It smelled like nasty sewage for most of the walk.
I have been using this trail for many years. Always great wildlife, fish birds, owls love it there. Benches for sitting, tables, super long biking trail. I go here 3-5 times a week.
Love the ride here, construction, not so much...
Beautiful place to spend time with the kids and friends!
Totally awesome outdoor green space. Great trail for walking, hiking, running, biking.
Peaceful and quiet place for short hike
A nice park, not the cleanest but otherwise pretty nice
Very pleasant and beautiful scenery. It is also conveniently located.
Beautiful scenery. Come see the wetter side of Waukesha!
Not a place to walk toddlers, young children. Very steep areas on either side of path with drops 10ft or more. 1 wrong step and anyone would go tumbling. No safety rails anywhere. I was extremely nervous walking my 2 year old thru here. I wont be bringing him here again.
Beautiful spot to rest and observe . Beautiful park and wildlife were entertaining.
The trail-head for riding the Glacial Drumlin trail west. The water fountains and restroom are closed so bring your own water for the ride.
Great scenery. Wide paths. Bike riders courteous. Announce coming up behind. Lots of shade.
This is a lovely park with an expansive lawn to walk. It features a small craft boat launch, a butterfly garden, resident groundhog and tree walk. The tree walk includes 13 specimens that are marked with smart tags. Bring your smart phone and scan the QR code to learn more about each species. As you walk south west through the park you encounter wooded areas with paths, and the trailhead for the Glacial Drumlin trail. Don’t miss the pedestrian bridge for beautiful views of the Fox River. There are two additional sites for bringing your small craft in/out of the Fox River, here. Continue further along the trail and you will reach marsh with viewing deck and boardwalk. If you are lucky, you may glimpse the beaver that resides here. This park is great for cycling, walking, birdwatching, and enjoying other wildlife. The city Rec Dept also has a building on the premises that hosts programs. Do bring your bug spray when the season calls for it, and be aware that a portion of this park is prone to flooding. This park is currently a popular place for location-based gaming on community days.
A really cute park with some nice hiking paths. Lots of litter and debris around when I was there, so not the most active parks and rec staff
This area is a popular spot for me, probably because of the Timber Trestle. Bike trail, hiking trail, lots of nature. Like most places I review, great for photography! The river attracts LOTS of wildlife. An old timber trestle bridge makes for incredible shots! As part of the landscape, underneath, on the tracks for nature... Love it!
This place is amazing. It over looks the beautiful fox river. 10 out of 10!!!! I try going there as much as i possibly can beacuse its honestly so calming!!!!!
I love to watch the groundhogs!! Always a treat wen there cause we always see animals!!
Beautiful natural pArk, place.to educate youth and great bike/ walk trail.
Nice little boardwalk over the marsh, good place to watch birds and wildlife. Peaceful. Small parking area, on bike trail.
Great place to walk and maybe take some pictures.
The Hubz & I love to take our Kado down the Boardwalk, to check out the wildlife.
A nice peaceful area, through which I passed on the way to where I was deployed to my assigned water stop for a run/walk.
Good for a walk even in the snow!
Loved this place growing up in Waukesha brings back memories of going into the river with friends on a school field trip to discover new life of the river. Great place to take a hike or picnic with kids.
Awesome place. Took my elementary students here and they had an AMAZING time- as did I!
Great place to visit, or take a date to. Well maintained and the Fox River is an awesome kayaking river as well.
Fun field trip to explore nature with kids during a summer school class. All the kids got to put on waiters and collect specimens from the river and then view them with microscopes.
I like it so much Id rather walk on this trail than walk next to my own children
Brilliant area, also marks the start of the Glacial Drumlin Trail. All other reviews explain deeper as to why this place is amazing.
Nice park along the Fox River near downtown Waukesha. Glacial-Drumlin trail starts there.
Paved trail for walking, biking even a wheelchair walk is ok here. Areas that teach school aged kids about wildlife that is native to the sanctuary. This place has been turned into a learning experience as well as a beautiful walking area to enjoy.
Large hall rental for bridal shower.deck for outside seating or pictures.
Great outdoor space along the river. Was hoping to see some birds but wasnt the day for that. Ill be back for picnics along the water.
Small well maintained Park good for fishing and access to the Glacial Drumlin Trail
