257-acre riverside park featuring a canoe launch, fishing, volleyball, a play area, hiking & more.
Great spot to wet wade and fly fish
Didnt go there. Was looking for parks to go to.
This is worth the trip.We used the slide for over an hour. There is other stuff to do as well.the bathrooms are nice and clean
The great outdoors
Nice park
Kids play here on a regular basis! Awesome park!
Went barktober fest....was awesome!!! Also been there many times for hikes and walk amazing amd beautiful place to go.
I didn’t get to walk the trail very far, but Picnic area 2 is pretty cool. There is a very large grill. Nice picnic area with lots of tables. A play area for the kids just a minute or two into walking the trail.
Beautiful park with walking paths and party pavilions.
Beautiful park thats well cared for. $6 entrance fee or get a park pass which is more bang for your buck if you visit county parks frequently. The trails are really nice, paved trail if you prefer something less "rugged." The hills on the trails are great for running!
Great place for an outdoor party...
Very nice simple shelter with picnic tables located near a playground. Whoever mowed the grass did a great job.
Nice park. There is a fee or you can get a waukesha park pass. Nice paved walkway.
Pretty great place to connect with Nature, paved bike trails, well marked hiking trails and plenty of picnic areas. The hardwood forest is beautiful.
It an excellent place for jogging, biking or even leisurely walk. The walking trails through legacy forests is joy for those who want to spend time in woods.
Would rate this park 5 stars except for the fact the entire main walkway is littered with dog feces, and smells like it whenever the temperature gets above freezing.
Walkways winding pathways through forest are paved. There are Pavilions for families and a Cool playground for all. There were a lot of dogs with familys so if you need to check on that before you go.
Its very beautiful place closer to my house 🏡.My daughter plays here when I hike all the way up.
Wonderful walking trails especially in the fall
Great place to walk, bike, observe nature. Great place to picnic, family gatherings, BBQ sites and amenities.
Over 2 miles of paved trail and a wonderful "Nature Play" area complete with slides in the side of the hills make this park a great go-to spot with young kids. The numerous trails interconnect to make for a great afternoon of hiking through the woods. Benches at viewing areas overlooking marsh, the river, etc feel like a little nature oasis.
Nice clean trails. If you go in the woods make sure you have bug spray.
Awesome little county park with a few picnic sites, nice paved trails, and a few forest hiking trails that are well shaded.
The earth slides and other mind and muscle building aperatus they have are wonderful. Not another generic plastic park. Peaceful.
The slides are great for kids.. fun park. Frisbee golf too good course.
Trails range from paved to rugged. Quite a large facility with shelters and multiple entrances. The woods are quite natural a la Lapham Peak.
Well cleaned and maintained Park. Agus
This is a great park. With lots of trails for walking, jogging or biking. Some paved, some with wood chips, some are just grass. Many places to just sit and enjoy the scenic views. Very well mapped out with signage and color coded trails. Could spend all day here exploring all the different areas.
Great park. But, today there was a group of 3 teenage boys that were making bad choices. They started near us, at the nature play area, then they went down by the #2 shelter picnic area. Once they were over there, they found some signs on wooden posts and proceeded to throw them on the roof of the shelter, over and over. Then, when that got boring for them, they proceeded to climb the incredibly steep roof of the shelter. I was terrified for them and was thankful we never heard a scream, as that would have been a rough fall. Im not sure if this happens often, or if its an isolated incident, but Id be on the lookout for these 3. They were about 14-16 yrs old, Caucasian, with brown hair, 2 with longer, shaggy haircuts.
Raised Grain pop-up beer garden with gourmet wood-fired pizza truck. Exceeded expectations. Plenty of room to "distance". Not sure if Ill visit a park without a beer garden anymore.
A great park.. many trails, a very long and wide paved trail going near Fox River and beautiful old dense woods
Though it’s not huge, it is a very well maintained park with a surprising amount of different habitats in a small area. The river walk is especially peaceful.
The view by the river, along the paved city park trail (which connects to the Glacial Drumlin Trailis picturesque. The park is on the small side, but not too small. Id give it five stars if the ski trails were groomed and tracked.
Its got paved trails and dirt trails. It has an awesome playground area. Only negative is the trail maps and markers dont always match colors.
Nice park. Simple and fun play equipment. Large, paved, and well maintained path. Nice for biking, scooters, or just running. Dogs welcome on a leash. There are picinic areas that can be reserved with bathrooms. They dont seem to be unlocked when the pavilion is not in use. Open areas for running for playing catch.
Always a place kids and adults love to visit. One of the best views for a park with numerous paved and dirt hiking trails
Fantastic park. My kids love the fact it has the longest slide ever, built into a hill. Great trails to hike and bike on. Its also on the Fox River where you can bring a canoe or kayak to enjoy the river.
Ive driven by a 100 times, this was my first time in the park. Excellent pavilion with very clean restrooms. The ranger was very friendly .
Great trails for hiking as well as a fun playground my kids love!
Clean and quiet! What more could you ask for?
Such a great park that combines nature with play.
Absolutely love this park theres so many trails to walk my dog along and he loves it!!
This park is really neat- very well thought-out design that includes an extremely unique, natural play area unlike anythjng Ive seen before. My kids loved it! There were a couple of parties going on as well while we were there- looks like a great place to throw a party too! Check it out!!
Really lovely park. There are more rustic trails to follow if youre looking yo get off the concrete path. Bathrooms near the parking lot. Quiet but not deserted on Sunday mornings.
We were there for a cross country meet and had to wait in line 10 minutes to get in. People behind us in line had to wait 30 minutes or more. With that large of expected volume, there should have been better planning at the admissions gate.
Nice older playground equipment, picnic shelter, basketball court, nice big Field, walking trail. A bit buggy since its by the river.
Beautiful park with great picnic spots, nice playgrounds and an awesome slide. Great biking and hiking trails.
Great park with trails, very scenic. Went on 5/31/18 and there was a pop up beer garden with tables and music, very good time!
Picnic area was great for the birthday party! Clean bathrooms, outlets worked, grill was clean and huge! The only thing I didnt like is we paid for the rental of the picnic area, yet people still had to pay the $5 park fee to get in! Rude!
It was a nice park! Kids loved the huge slides down the side of the hill! One BIG problem..... TICKS!!! Loads of them! There were 10 of us and 2 dogs and we all had multiple ticks! My son had 9, step-son had 2, my 3 girls had 4 each, I had 6, husband had 2 and our friends reported that they had a lot as well! We were picking ticks off our dogs for days! If you go were a TON of spray and check yourself and your pets!
