Four Points By Sheraton Linkou in Taipei

Very friendly and helpful desk staff, room is clean and modern with a large sofa and comfortable bed.

Tasted pretty good with many unique dishes but the portions left me wanting more. It’s not convenient to get to due to traffics. Go late Sunday evening to avoid congestions.

Check-in procedure takes longer than my expectation and the front desk staff wasnt friendly at all while processing my check-in. Not sure her name is Rois or something begins with "R".I booked two rooms. I arrived at around 2:30pm. I was told that only one room is ready for checking-in. Therefore I had afternoon tea at the bar while waiting the other room got ready.After I finished afternoon tea, It was at around 15:40, and I was told that my room wasnt ready yet for checking-in.The room is supposed to get ready for guest to check in at 15:00, which the confirmation email I received indicated clearly.Hence, due to delayed check-in, I requested the same amount of time for late check-out, but the front desk rejected arrogantly.

I recently had an extended stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Linkou. I had a great experience, largely because of the friendliness, hospitality and warmth of the hotel staff. They made me feel like family. Everyone at reception were always there to help, which they did. I would like to extend a special thank you to Cindy, Wendy and Vincent. They were true professionals and always a pleasure to see. Great staff. I hope to see them again. Many thanks! Simon.

**Update** After posting below the hotel did the right thing, they couldnt help some of the issues immediately, but their personnel have been very supportive and extra helpful. I am updating to 3 stars and might go to 4 before I checkout in a few weeks as the staff have been so great!---Stained carpet, very limited room service, literally a large rat in the lobby bar, slow service, limited breakfast options, coffee is apparently gold here as the cleaners wont provide more than 2 even on the clean every 3 day green option

I have stay over 20 night, and I appreciate most of service and room quality.However I have hardware issue or question inquired about the receptionist or front desk , I got official reply every time...It dose not solve my problem, keep the problem exist.

Very unsatisfied experience.The hotel shall receive the guests with full preparation, but the room is not ready on 16:15, which shall be ready on 15:00.In addition, the hotel representative tells us that the sauna shall be only reserved on the date; however, the hotel states that the sauna has been fully booked once we have arrived on 15:00. This is unacceptable service level concerning the service quality / service price, and the sauna reservation system is not fair at all.

Tried it out on a points redemption. Overall it’s a nice hotel and the upgraded room was spacious. I deduct two points for the slightly poor sound proofing of the rooms, the fact that the bed slides off the base easily when having adult cuddles and for the pool being closed. I understand swimming outdoors in winter may not be a very popular past time in Taiwan, but it should be up to the guest to have access to all facilities and decide if they can tolerate it.

Great rooms, great service, overall had a nice experience. Close to Airport MRT and across the street from mall. Good breakfast and lunch restaurants both on 1st floor and 2nd floor. Great hotel to stay at in Linkou!

Specious, clean, comfortable room.Location is nice, due to near to the MRT station, connected to the international airport and Taipei main city, and mall.Very nice place to stay.Unfortunately the price is a little bit higher than those hotels in downtown.

It’s so amazing and worth visiting again! Not only is it convenient for its location but also it offers a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service!Of course, the desk information staffs are patient and polite to answer customers’ questions and give some kind of favors!Furthermore, it is a great lunch including main courses and buffet to allow customers to choose what they want to have! How wonderful and sweet they are! Of course, they also provide spa and sports facilities for visitors to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere! By the way, it offers swimming pool during from April to October to visitors to enjoy the sense of cool . Most importantly, it provides comfortable rest section for customers to chat or small talking with families, friends or relatives !

Four Points by Sheraton Linkou Known are as five-star hotel. However, I could not say it was a good experience when staying there. They only have 165 rooms, during vacation season, customers should spend 20~30 minutes for waiting to check in, and no any other staff is outside the counter to guide their family to take rest on sofa behind the counter. They have a very beautiful swining pool, but no lifeguard beside it. I do not know the real rule about lifeguard in Taiwan, But it make a feel unsafe in the pool. The restaurant we had breakfast was very gorgeous, but I got two sets of omelette were much harder than fried egg.They own best physical facility, but we could not feel their human services as well, and I could not believe they are real under Marriott Group.
