Forture Seafood Steam Boat in Singapore

CP ratio isnt high, and despite their name they actually dont serve any fish steamboat or curry fish head. We ordered three dishes, and the meat dish (fried chickencame out 15-20 minutes after the tofu, vegetables and rice. We were already kind of pretty done by then.

Food is good and Prices are reasonable.

Coming here during weekdays. There is no lineup, Sambal fried rice is very nice, Wine Bai Kut is one of the best dishes in here.

Zhai Cha is not bad. The hot fun taste good.

2nd visit ... food wise no complaints, good enough to get you working for the remaining day, as for pricing slightly more expensive than other zi char stalls, not forgetting its Bukit Timah area, no complaints, as for parking, its kinda difficult park along side of road

A great place to take a party after a Hash run in the evening, and a favourite with most. Great choice of menus, food cooked to perfection and rocket service. Where else could 30 hungry runners get served with 8 courses faster than they could eat? A dont-miss destination.

Simple decorated Tze Cha restaurant offers lots of excitement on good food. Sri Lancan chili crab and fried bull frogs(4 frogsare their signature dishes- must try. Salted eggs Sri Lancan crab slightly lacks of intensity. Curry fish head can go without. Service level is ok as long as you dont mind to look for them next door. Total bill SGD 275 excluding the wine. Its worth it.

Poor experience, visited on Sunday night. waited 45 minutes and left because service keep delaying. Waiter not helpful at all and promised 20 minutes but it went to half an hour and eventually left. Should have warned about the actual time taken. Place was not full either so why the long wait? Also, payment must be made upfront even before any dish was served. Very disappointing.

One of the best zhi char stall in Singapore. Herbal chicken is a must try. Sweet and sour pork if you like the crispy type version.

We ordered medium portions, but as you can see from the pictures, everything was so little, and we paid $60. Tasted like zi char food from anywhere. Nothing special at all, and certainly not worth the prices they charge. We felt ripped off, dissatisfied, and even had to supplement the meal with frozen food in our kitchen! First and last time, for sure.

Please stay away. Any item in the menu is 1 hour.Even the basic orders that dont require cooking are an hour wait.We tired to ask why is every order is an hour regardless of what order and we were told its the way it is. The place was 50% occupied and still they couldnt even server peanuts earlier than one hour. Unless you look to spend hours in waiting for food stay away.

My family used to patronise this Tze Char for the longest time. However, of late, the food standard has fallen below par. Last night, with a craving for crab, I headed to this restaurant. The ”live” crab cost me $78 per kilogram, and I ordered chilli crab. Much to my dismay, the crab’s meat was way too tight and compressed. I reckon its due to the crab in a state of flux and about to die, hence, the condition of the meat. The sauce of the dish was too sweet, and it just didnt seems right.I should not be visiting this place for a long time to come. Perhaps, the appropriate statement would be NEVER. Disappointing!

Went for their best crabs. Had salted egg crabs and chili crab. Good fun and atmosphere.

Gd place for chilli crab. Salted egg crab is the slightly wet type version. The fried bun is bigger than other place which served smaller size buns. The crab seem to cost slightly more per kg than other area. Will recommend this place for the chilli crab if not eating crab often. The price per kg (Seasonal Pricemay be a holding back factor for recommending.

Waited 40mins for 2 dishes, and when finally it came, a dry chili chicken dish; chicken was chewy and we suspect its old meat, and had to wait another 10mins for Sambal Kang kong, which also tasted bad and salty.

Ill have to give this place 1 star due to a very unfriendly and arrogant lady that seems to own the place or something. She takes all the orders. Wasnt helpful.However, she was all smiley with the foreigners who seemed to hangout here often.Now about the food. Sambal Kang kong was good, Prawn paste chicken good but the Sweet & Sour fish was disappointing.Overall, not a very pleasant meal due to a poor start. There are a lot of other Zi Chars worth going to on a regular basis.

Favourite haunt for seafood and zichar!

One of the better restaurants with reasonable price. The curry fish head is good! The crabs are reasonably priced except it may not be Sri Lankan crab (difficult to tellas claimed. Nevertheless, the food is fairly good!

bad experience...have to order at counter. queuing line same as those paying. so can image how long the line was. staff overwhelmed. one of my dish didnt come at all. not sure why today service is below average.

Must try for great seafood!!!!! Everything was delicious, favs were Black Pepper Crab, Chilli Crab, and Cereal Prawns.

The tong po meat is quite tasty. the others dishes are so- so. Lemon tea from this coffeeshop is tasty too.

The best place for food. My parents went there with their parents when I was younger, then its me and my kids now. I fell like a tradition is passed down whenever we come here to eat. Park nearby and sit down al fresco. Food ranges from a high end crab dish to the simple fried rice. The unbelievable thing is, whatever the price point, the food is made with the utmost tasty care. Crazy good stuff. Well recommended and heres to more generations of the same thing. Go! Give them a try!

Their tasty foods are coffee ribs, herbal chicken, stir fried 青龙菜 from Cameron highlands , Sri Lanka chilli crabs, deep fried buns, steamed fish and sticky fish maws soup.

Always like the herbal chicken and I go for that. Tried a Dragon Vegetable which I have never tried it. It tastes like Dou Miao but at the same time it is a bit different. But I like it. Will try it the next time again.

The freshly ordered Seafood is good. Strongly advised not to pre-order the food. The beers were not cold enough.

I’m madly in love with their fish head curry.. excellent , thick flavours ! Their other dishes have quality as well. Come early or late, or it’ll be difficult to find parking.

Food is tasty with a good range of dishes. Service can be a bit slow but otherwise its very affordable and a good place for a nice dinner

Me and my friends were seated in the aircon room and asked the drinks helper to inform the person to come in take our order. Twice we asked but to no response and finally i went out myself to the lady cashier who was serving customer. She say have to wait and i went back. We waited abt 15min and i decided to check with the lady again. She retorted that she has to stay at the cashier counter to attend to customers and i asked if there are any person who can take our order. She say no and say i can make my order there otherwise i can go back and wait. Poor attitude!

Not quite an accessible place unless by car. Thumb up for the Hor Fun, Tofu, and the Kang kong. But will Never order the cappuccino pork ribs, complete disappointment we didnt even finish it. I think they are still better with the classic dishes, u can skip the fancy dishes.

Neighborhood tzechar joint. Recommendations here are: Fresh chili crab, curry fish head, herbal chicken soup, black pepper venison, stir fried fish sauce brinjal (aubergines). Make sure to have the fish head curry over rice and order the deep-friend mantou (chinese bunsto mop up the chili crab sauce! Make sure to call ahead if planning to dine here during holidays, it gets busy and service suffers a little, so manage your expectations accordingly!

This menu is come from fortune seafood 2018 new year dishes very nice and the price is reasonable you should try.

One of our favour zichar places here. Especially like their herbal chicken and Thai-style fish head (1/2 headcurry. The veges too are good. Prices are reasonable. Service is pretty fast and good. We sometimes order the satay from the Malay pakcik.

We tried a few simple dishes. None of them stood out and had zero wok hei. Given that they cant get their basics right, I dont think Ill want to give their signature crabs a go.

Must eat Mongolian Beef, or chicken.The sauce is amazing!!I can just recommend all the food there. Not cheap as a hawker but definitely worth to go there!!
