Fortuna Noodles - Restaurant in North Wonthaggi, Australia
The food was soo bad the Tom yum noodles taste like water the fried rice was bad there were hairs in it
An Asian food that filled up your stomach.
Yummo special fried rice and the nicest home made dimmies Ive had in ages!!
The food is not so great and customer service is lacking.
Average. Green curry was watery. Better choice was noodle soup.
Food took way too long and wasn’t great. Specified no onions of any kind in any of the dishes as my wife and kids can’t eat them. They get sick from eating onions, yet one of the three dishes still had onions. Was advised around 30 minutes for the food to be ready so went back to our rental property to unload the shopping. Returned 30 min later only to have to wait another 40 min for my food, and they weren’t that busy, just slow to cook the food. If they’d told me it would be over an hour I at least then have the option of waiting or going somewhere else. Onions in dishes when specifically asked for none, long wait time and food with very little taste.Usually our first stop for dinner on the first night in Cowes, but time to give this place the flick. Quality and service have gone downhill
Very popular resulting in 35 minute wait. A lot of customers had placed phone orders, best way to go but the food was fresh and tasty.
Good service for a quick lunch. Outside only. Good seafood rice
This time my combination noodles didnt have many meats, seafood. We have been here previously and it is a food value.
I dont know why some people reviewed this as a good food. For me, its tasteless, ordered black bean chicken noodle, spicy beef noodle which not spicy at all, and veg fried rice. All food were tasteless, (honestly, even my home cook food taste betterand never ever buy the spicy sauce. It was taste like its already off but they still selling it. Price was reasonable. However, Its better to pay bit more and get a good food.
Good vegetarian fried rice and spring rolls
Good place in Cowes to get noodles. We tried the hot and spicy noodles and the Nasi goreng. Ingredients were fresh. Overall Delicious.
Overall is delicious. A bit too salty to how I like it. Ordered bbq pork soup noodle. Wish there are more soup.My bf had sweet BBQ noodle, not too sure what make it sweet.. It is a new taste to us.
Busy as. 30mins wait at 6pm. But worth it. Easily get two serves out of their containers.
Was looking forward to a fish and chip meal! The potato cakes were more batter than potato..the batter was brown overcooked and tasted of old oil.The grilled fish was rubbery. The dim sims were the worst .. supermarket frozen would have been a better choice. Chips , plentiful. Whole meal luke warm.VERY DISAPOINTING.Not prepared to try again.
Avoid. The fish was so bad we couldn’t eat it. The flake was over cooked, like leather and couldn’t even bite into it. The calamari rings and chips were ok, dimsims were poor.
Always really good service. The combination is always my go too with the 6Pc wontons and a Coke!! 10/10 would recommend
What a good feed of fish & chips, scallops & potato cakes. Cooked perfectly and couldnt fault them. Good customer service & ramp access into the shop. Will return in future.
Very nice though discovered no burgers inside but shop advertises they sell burgers on the outside. Would have liked to try their burgers.
Great service, staff and selection of delicious takeaway food.just need to put burgers back on the menu guys.
Tasty fish and chips, batter cooked well. Had Blue Grenadier, piece of fish was a bit small
Delicous noodles, great value and good sized serves. Whats not to like?!Fyi we had Fried Kwai Teow and Hokkien noodles
Friendly service, a little bit slow but the food had very generous ingredients and not just noodles.I had to call a few times to phone order so be patient.
Have eaten there twice now and have always been satisfied with the quality and quantity of the fish and chips served. Staff are friendly and the premises spanking clean. I also like that I can sit outdoors and also order some asian food from next door.
Always fresh fish and great friendly staff. Love this fish & chip shop, would recommend this to anyone 5 stars 🔥
Potato cakes were great, very crispy but the chips were a big let down, soft and a lot and no crisp.
Only thing we could eat from our whole order was the chips. Fish was tough. Calamari rings like rubber and potato cakes were lacking potato. Definitely not worth the 35minute wait
The most delicious noodles Ive tried in years. Had the seafood stir fried noodles. On point, and generous with the seafood. Loved it!
Honestly pretty dissapointed with the current service, not ensuring the phone is hooked up correctly most nights is pretty disappointing. Also having one of the servers advising that its been playing up for months means communication throughout the business is not there.
Best fish and chips Ive had in a while
Bought fish and potato cakes tonight as previously it has been good, well not so tonight! The flake was so tough I couldnt pull it apart or even cut it with a knife, the pieces in the photo was chewed but couldnt break them up, inedible, potato cakes were hard an undercooked.
$16 Japanese seafood. Weird taste to it there was too much lemon/Lime
Definitely the most authentic Chinese restaurant on Philip Island!!! As Chinese, I vouch for the food. It is absolutely delicious and comes with a large proportion. I wanted to cry with happiness when I got my food (because it was so authentic). Price is very reasonable. We also love how friendly and efficient the staff are. Highly recommend it!
Stopped here for quick dinner take away, ended up coming twice. Delicious food. Big portions and very accommodating. Nice little quiet place great food.
Stopped here for quick late lunch. Very quick service. No complain. Fair price. Don’t expect 5 star service.
Food was ok , good for a quick meal , but, I would have prefered more meat in my noodles as I had ordered Mongolian Beef .Prices not bad as you do get alot for your money. Very efficient staff , polite and friendly.
Didnt taste like fresh catch fish. Too expensive too
Had a meal inside, grouse 👌 had a heater inside so was cozy. Meals prepared in a clean kitchen which is transparent, had the beef satay and chicken teriyaki. Beef satay had a nice heat/chilli tang to it and the chicken teriyaki was pleasant!
The girl at the front counter was so RUDE to me just because I decided to order a few things at different times. If anything they are getting more business. I felt so offended by her actions and her attitude towards me. Love your food but improve your customer service.
Great range of Asian food. Good noodle dishes and really generous serves. Its basic cafe style with outdoor dining area. My go to place for all things noodle!
Generally great food here. This time the steamed dim sim was well undercooked and they didnt give me my sauce and they also didnt give me any lemon for my grilled fish.... So disappointed 😥. On a positive note the fish was and chips were great as usual and my burger with the lot was OK..... Id hope that next time I visit they make up for it....
Pretty good all round. Great chips
Really popular low cost fast food with lots of seating outside. Also try their excellent fish & chips (gluten free batter option too!store next door also with seating. The fish & chips is usually closed Mondays so the noodle place might be too?
Good modern asian noodle bar. Great selection and with Tsingtao :-)
Lovely fish and chips with fantastic friendly and helpful service.
Miss communication with our order, young lady with blue tried to make us pay for another box of noodles when we tried to make them give us what we actually ordered. They don’t understand English properly very rude. Make sure you are clear with your order when going there or ya never know what you’ll get
Was at this eatery for a quick bite. It was easy to locate, the lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. We had Wanton noodles soup and spicy beef noodles which was quite tasty and great for a windy cold winter night.
Great noodle and rice dishes. They allow changes to menu items and can cater to pretty much any dietary request. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Eat in or take away option available. It can get busy in peak times but service and wait times are generally very quick.
Spur of the moment decision to get take away!!!Large choice of dishes and food was excellent.Red curried chicken with fried rice and home made Dim Sims.... yum Also Cantonese chicken.... yum
I visit Phillip Island quite often and had been told by the locals to stay away from this eating venue but as we were desperate plus a party of 8, beggars cant be choosers!! After waiting for close to an hour for our meals to come out and tucking-in to our mediocre flavorless noodles. My 23yr old brother went to use the toilets and came back looking sick... he pointed to the cook at the stove and said the guy had just taken a dumpand walked out without washing his hands and we looked over and there and there he was cooking!!!!! All 8 of us ceased to put the food in our mouths (which was tasteless anywayand walked out leaving it!!! We tossed -up fighting for our money to be returned but even to order their English was limited! Now I know why the locals stay away from this place as it appears only the visitors to the island frequent it!! We are hoping we dont come down with dysentery!!! Not impressed!!
