Fort Srebrna Góra in Nowa Ruda

This place is in the midlle of huge renowation so I would probably recomend to visit in 1 year time.The place its great and the tour guide is 100% passioned about this place and the history.The price you pay is definetlly worth the view and the whole show ;The only minus is a long walk up it takes around 15min with small kids and parking cost 15zl.Overall I do recomend it its qorh it ;)

Beautiful scenery, interesting history, tour guide was hilarious and also demonstrated firing an old flintlock rifle.

The citadel was built in 12 years and its the biggest of this kind in Europe. The musket shot done by a guide was really amazing! However a tour might be a bit longer.

Very interesting place but you need to take the tour because you cant walk around by yourself in a lot of places, so need go with tour, you need park 1km from fort and walk up , easy walk 20min or take and pay for meleks ( little busbut is easy walk

Very nice place with history. Folder and panels in several languages give relevant information. Landscape is beautiful. Unfortunately guided tour is only available in Polish. Nice to see anyway.

Fort under construction, do explore Fort Wysoka Skala and Spitzberg nearby. You can try firing range here!

You need to take the tour for the full experience but the views from the upper levels of the fortress were worth the price of admission. There is an approximately 15 minute walk uphill from the parking lot to the entrance but there was a golf cart that will drive you up to the entrance for a small fee, based on the number of people (30 PLN for four people).

Amazing museum of XVIII century !!

You can visit it by yourself, but i recommend comming there when free tour guide is available. They tell you the stories about soldiers life, duties, penalties in a way that you can feel their misery....

Ruined fortress with very little to see inside. If you don’t speak Polish, don’t take the guided tour as nothing is in English. No audio guide available in other languages.

The tour guide was horrible, he was not at all inclusive and he made very gross jokes even tho there were a lot of small children. Tour is also not for people who are sensitive to sounds, because the tour gide is yelling at the group and shoots w musket once.If i could i wouldnt even give one star.

It was really cool here. When I came here there was a man that pick us to the weapon area. Here was the first time I shoot with a real weapon (Russia weapon). You definitely need to watch this fort. 👍🏼🇮🇩

Fantastic place to visit. Your guide dressed in the uniform from the period will tell you interesting things about the history of the place and everyday life of the soldiers who served in the fort.

Interesting place, but I suggest (if you canto bring your drone to take nice photos and appreciate the fort.

This place is really amazing, I liked how well it was restored and views from this fortress are very nice. Guide was wearing authentic clothes and the most impressive thing during tour was shooting from a old gun.Although what I didnt really like was that there were no translations to English language on any kind of place, maybe thats because this place isnt visited a lot by other nationality tourists?! I dont know... But as this fortress claims to be one of the biggest in Europe I think it should have quite a lot more translations.

This place is awesome, during my visit there was some sort of a festival, decent food, lots of kids activities. Really good place to visit for the whole family. Would definitely visit again.

The largest fort in Europe in a beautiful location. A guided tour is definitely worth it. There are some activities for kids as well. Weve spent a better part of the day and still there were things we didnt get to do. Make sure to visit both forts.

The Best Tower ever

the group was extremely big - about 60 people what caused bad experience while visiting the fort. Building is really interesting and its worth to listen to the guide. Prepare 10 PLN for parking

A nice glimpse of 18th century fortress with fascinating history. Thanks to well educated guides who really love their job you can really experience the time when Prussian army stationed there. Also you can buy local beer at the reception, to support the renovation. Totally worth it!

Great interior, great instructor, great view.

Really nice place which is still growing. Hard climb on the way up but with small game which you may participate. This helps with the climb and provides some competition. You also need to be there when they fire the cannon. It is worth to wait for a guided tour as they also shoot an old weapon. Its all good and well but the single item missing is a good place to eat. Apart from that there is a lot to see a fire range, cannon and much more. Nice views.

It was great, interesting visit, but I visited with a guide speaking Polish only, then I had help from friends to understand. Not sure if there are guides speaking English.

Fun little historical fortress, I would take the paid tour simply for the firing of the old musket. The shockwave is truly incredible and worth experiencing to understand how miserable it must have been for soldiers at the fort during wartime operation.The restaurant below served pretty good food, and the bathroom facilities were quite clean!

Beautiful spot, great views of the mountains and valley especially in a good sunny weather. Under renovation at the moment so soon the experience may be even better. No disruption to visitors though.

Quite big fortress which you can explore with guide or alone. Many magazines, deep well, artillery canons and there is also shooting range.

A rather strange experience. Although the website and the signs at the place state that guided tours take place regularly, it is apparently not the case. After we were sold a ticket at the cash desk, we were just let in with no further information. After a while, other visitors told us the tour will be happening at 11:30. In the end, the tour started at 13:15 with no clear explanation why it took so long. The tour was interesting and rather fun, especially for younger visitors, but generally it was a bit of a mess (also literally, because the place is being reconstructed and the square in the middle of the fort was just one big mud puddle). Maybe wait until the renovation works are over.

Nothing special, just a view to plains around, interior of fortress is empty. There is a shooting place, where you can pay and shoot with some guns, but instructor didnt speak english and is not really friendly.

Tour guide in polish. Reading materials available in English. We were very well entertained by the tour guide. Our kids loved all the interaction. But we all speak polish.

It is worth visiting for sure. The location and the view is amazing. This fort is more liked by my child than the Kłodzko fort.

A historical place located above small mountain town of "Srebra Góra" is worth seeing. I recommend you to take a walk all around the keep first, to see it by the eyes of an attacker. Next you can take a cheap guided tour in a group to see the interiors. You will also have some time to wander around on your own. You can use that time to admire the views on the landscape.
