Fort Niedergrünewald in Grevenmacher

Sehr schöne Gegend:)

We had to walk through the thick forest to getvthere. There were some ruins of the fort but the information was not in English. I see i didn’t bother taking any pictures of the ruins as the view was overgrown with trees. Seems to be a neglected site

Nice walk uphill and forest surroundings. Its a pretty, open, small place which sadly seems to be a place where people enjoy smashing bottles.

Muy buenas vistas pero el otro fuerte es más espectacular y tiene mejor acceso.

Wen Geschichte interessiert, der sollte all die alten Ruinen der Wehrbefestigung anschauen. Schöne Wanderung und man wird mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt 👍

It had a good view of the city, but theres not much more to look at.

Am Hang des Tales gegenüber des "Skywalkes" befindet sich diese doch eher langweilige Festung. Die Lage ist schön.

Bel édifice historique luxembourgeois, situé a lentrée du quartier daffaires du Kirchberg. Ce nest pas très grand mais cela vaut bien le détour.

Also known as Fort du Bas-Grünewald, the restored remains are that of the forts redoubt, which was protected by three bastions (no longer visible). The redoubt was unearthed in the early 2000s during the construction work of the Circuit Vauban, the space was partially rebuilt and is open to the public. There are 56 counter-mine galleries, some of which originate from the tunnel entrance in the ditch. The Frënn vun der Festungsgeschicht Lëtzebuerg does tours of these tunnels if they interest you.

Ļoti labi saglabājies forts. No šejienes paverās skaists skats uz Luksemburgu.

is niet veel om te zien maar wel in goede staat. ook een mooi uitzicht over de stad hier vandaan
