It was a beautiful site and with the view overlooking the fish market. However, you cannot enter the place.
Its a nice fort, though abandoned, unlike the Elmina castle
They could do better with this heritage site and not let it dilapidate.

Great tourist site
Nice experience and a beautiful site seeing place
Fort Coenraadsburg also known as Fort São Tiago da Mina, located right across Elmina or Georges Castle, is a fort built in 1652. It was built on the site of a fortified chapel, St. Jago, that the Portuguese had built but which was burned by the Dutch in 1637. This building is less visited than the Elmina Castle, but the view of the Elmina bay and Castle, from here is spectacular. Great photography point. The building itself is not well preserved but it still gives a sense of the construction of the time. Worth visiting if you are already visiting Elmina slave castle.

Historical monument
Great fort, ascending and descending the fort is great exercise. A smart location by colonial masters to guard Elmina castle
