We spent a night here on our travels & it was great fun also the bowls club was great food & service!

Comfortable, clean facilitys & pleasant staff

Its a great spot, right next to the Forster Bowls Club. The motel is perfect. The rooms are very well appointed, the staff are always friendly. I have come down from Tweed Heads to this area for a number of years. I wish I had found it earlier. I will certainly be staying here in the future.

Very comfortable not far from town

Self check in.Not easy to do. Pillows like rocks. Bath/shower very dangerous. Had to step into a huge bathtub.Nothing to hang on to.No good for elderly. No directions for air conditioner it kept going off every hour. We were very cold..LP

This motel is great to stay at. Rooms are nice and large, clean but a little dated, beds could be updated as they are a bit passed their use date. Fantastic location to all amenities

What a great spot, handy access to everywhere we wanted to go. And the courtesy bus was a blessing.

Spacious room with off street parking . Ground level carpeted room. Very clean. Good check in with complimentary keno and drinks ticket for the next door bowling club where very good meals are served.Good value and the pool looked ok as well.

Typical motel. Traffic noise especially wet road is intrusive if you get room 27, those towards lake Parkway/ McIntosh Rd. You can walk in 3 minutes to bowl club, 15 minutes to retail area, 20 minutes to pebble beach. Flat boring walk.

We found the motel to be very clean and comfortable at the right price also we had lunch at the club the food was very good at reasonable prices with friendly and helpful staff I would go back again

We installed the Bali thatch gazebo. The motel grounds were clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

They are false advertising there is no cable tv. And the wifi doesn’t work unless you are standing right outside the office.The cleaning lady Michelle was lovely and did her best to help us out.The woman behind the desk, in the office was unapologetic for the lack of wifi service and also sounded annoyed when asked about the “advertised Cable tv”However the room was clean and functional for a short stay- (Bar the lack of wifi)We tried the bowling club next door for dinner but they didn’t serve any food on a Monday night. I then asked if I could buy a pkt of chips for my daughter and they also did not sell this other that in a vending machine in the pokie area. Not ideal when you have card not cash.

Clean, spacious, great silent air-conditioning, nice pool area, 200m to the Forster Bowling Club, who manage this property!!👍🍻

Clean rooms, nice staff & the pool was nicely decorated with sun beds and umbrellas. Walking distance into Forster and across from the bowling club!

Dirty room mould all over fridge , beds feels 20 year old with springs everywhere, bathroom was dusty,,worst night didnt sleep an left very early was that uncomfortable an small..wont be going back at all .. disappointed 😔

Place was well located for us. The only thing the garden light shone in the room all night. It was like day light all night. Needs heavier curtains or a blind to block the light out.

Forster Palms Motel is practically and conveniently located in central Forster. Everything youll need from stores to entertainment is close by including the bowling club. The staff here are wonderful and friendly and are a great help to its clients.The rooms are clean neat and tidy, and some of the suits are accompanied with spa baths. There is also a clean salt water swimming pool on site with barbeque facilities. The accommodation and rooms are affordable and Ill come back to keep this as my home in Forster. Ring to book today...

Although is a budget style motel we enjoyed the stay. Clean, had everything we needed, would definitely stay there again.

We were only there for one night and a busy long weekend. Easy check in Loved our room. Comfy bed and quiet neighbors. Thank you, we will definitely choose this place again next time we pass through

Great value for money. Absolutely spotlessly clean, good size room, bed was one of the most comfortable have had in a motel. Linen and towels lovely and fresh. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area well maintained with good seating and BBQ area. Only one little issue the curtains could be heavier to block out garden /outdoor lighting.

We got exactly what we wanted and expected, the WiFi is decent, the owners are very nice. If youre the type to sleep in its worth knowing it can be a little noisy and the curtains arent super thick, maybe ask for a room far from the laundry if theyve got it.

Good motel. Quiet friendly staff. Left key so i could arrive late. Only down was limited hot brekkies and tv channels fuzzy or not included in subscriltion messages. Otherwise good.

TERRIBLE! Zero!? Terrible customer service and the staff are so rude! I called and Vicky answered and her tone was very condescending and she said argued with me and all I wanted to do was finish my booking. She said no, and simply hung up on me and refused to answer.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Can I give it a Zero!? Terrible customer service and the staff are so rude! We had a confirmation it was booked then after checking her system there was an error. I called and Vicky answered and her tone was very condescending and she said argued with me and all I wanted to do was finish my and book it in due to the hotel having banking issues. Vickys tone went even more sour, I said I didnt like her tone and attitude and I just wanted to fix it up. She said your hotel is canceled and simply hung up on me and refused to answer.

Recieved a warm welcome, happy to show the room before committing. Older motel but is slowly being renovated. My room was nice and the price very exceptable.Was given a free beverage voucher for the bowling club around the corner. An easy 5 minute walk. All up a pleasant stay.

Motel located next to Forster Bowling Club. Owned by the Bowling Club. Voucher for free drink to value of a schooner upon check-in. $1 keno voucher. Continental breakfast or hot meals. Parking, free wi-fi swimming pool and smokers area.

The rooms were lovely, clean and the beds were great, the price was fantastic for the 4 of us too! On arrival we were given coupons for the Bowls Club next door and the food there was fantastic, thank you to the owners, we definitely recommend a stay

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Will stay again. Make sure you get an updated room though. But beware of Vicki, what a nasty rude person she is, she should not be dealing with the public.

The new management are working to make motel a nice place. Room was clean. Rates are very reasonable and decent bowling club next door.

Very clean, bed was comfortable, people were very friendly only thing i didnt like was shower curtain but must admit curtain was clean and fresh thankyou for a pleasant stay

Nice room. Air-conditioner was quite loud though. Curtains in the room show through too much light and should be a bit thicker.

Central location, close to beaches, cafes, restaurants, etc. Right next to local bowling club which also owns the motel so we got drink vouchers for the bowling club at check-in. Rooms were nice for a motel and we got decent rates. Large room with a sofa, queen bed, fridge and tea making amenities, plus microwave. Free Wi-Fi with good reception but not quite stable enough to stream Netflix but thats what the heated salt water pool is for!

Great rates, friendly staff, very clean rooms and perfect location. We couldnt have asked for more. Free Wi-Fi and Austar. I would not hesitate in recommending this motel to anyone. Vicki and all her staff were fantastic.

We requested a refund after only 5 minutes as the room we were given was tiny and smelled badly of Pesticides. I am asthmatic and within minutes the smell triggered an attack. We had no alternative but to leave. We were given a full refund and were told that no sprays had been used. It was a doubtful reply to our query as the car park had several Pest Company vans & employees milling around talking and drinking alcohol in the BBQ area, who appeared to have just completed a job at the Motel. It could be a great place, but under the circumstances it was too dangerous to stay.

A great place to stay. Unit spotless and comfortable. Great to have all facilities toaster, iron etc.The buffet at the bowls club was the best and complentry drink much enjoyed.

Elderly couple staying in a budget room we know they r renovating after being bought by the bowling club but we had very little tv channels when asked about it was told there was nothing they could do about it until they spoke to CEO at the club Monday morning one very small milk enough for 2cups of coffee might sound like were whinging but we dont go out at night so like to relax watching tv was going to stay two nights but very disappointed will not come back

Under new management from 12th January - the day we arrived - Vicki the new manager is great, she actually discounted our hotel room tariff without us asking as she felt the prior manager had overpriced. Its currently a 3 star hotel that is clean and a little worn in places. Over the 10 days we stayed Vicki filled two container size skips with old furniture and fittings so I can only assume there is a massive refurbishment going on.

Id avoid at all cost I came here on my long weekend and birthday to go on the first night disgusted in the nicest way possible. I normally bite my tongue but this time I couldnt the advertisement is 80% wrong.I stayed in the deluxe queen spa room 36. River view is of a run off water drain, the kettle had water with mold in it, the cups were cover in coffee stains hair although the bathroom, no WiFi, no austar and 100% zero knowledge of the business. So thank you to Jackie the guy at reception for making the process 110% harder and longer by saying it isnt his problem. Pathetic customers service skills.The positive thing was pulling out of the drive way and never coming back.

The fold sofa bed wasnt very pleasant. The mattress on the sofa bed was very thin, and overall didnt feel nice. However, the location was good, providing quick and easy access to fast food restaurants, petrol stations giving coffee and tea for 80c
