Foody Farm Florence in Florence

Mixed feelings… the waiter is nice but we just wanted coffee and bread and was not possible due to the time…. They were giving us 15 mins… and then we should leave.. don’t go around 12 pm, is just lunch time

What a foody find close to the Ponte Vecchio on the banks of the river Arno. The service was excellent, the staff ultra-friendly and the little touches of class/detail when receiving food & drinks rival that of a high-end restaurant. However, without the high-end prices! Food and drink was so reasonably priced, especially compared to some of the rip-off prices and tourist traps in the beautiful city of Florence.I would highly recommend this place and wish the owners & staff every success with their concept of supporting local farmers & sustainable farming. Exceptional!

Sat outside with my partner since we felt a bit more comfortable with the wind and misting attached to the awning on a very warm day. He ordered a ravioli dish while I had a burger and potatoes called Big Farm. The sauce comes in this cute container so you can control how much spice youd like because that sauce was as peppery as it could get - just the way I liked it. Though, Im not very well-versed in the ways of meat, and having Italian wagyu on the description of the burger was new to me. Ive never had real wagyu before but I didnt find much of a difference between the meat for the Big Farm and a usual good burger from my local burger joint. What made the difference to me was the sauce and the serving of potatoes that came on the side. This dish was incredibly filling and I was satisfied. Also clean toilets, a nice bar, and friendly staff!

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is extremely fresh and the staff are amazing and very polite & nice. Silvia greeted us and was a very kind woman and I highly suggest visiting this place - she is a great staff member. I will be back again ☺️

Wouldn’t give us a table claiming they’re all reserved but 2 seconds later they’d sit people that just walked in with no reservation. Very rude staff

Generic fast food. I ordered the wagyu Burger as a main dish. I asked for medium. The meat was dead when i got it. Feels like they prepared it with the starter and than waited for me until im done to serve the burger. Sad. The picci wasabi noodles were underwhelming in taste..

The portion of the food are not satisfied! I order chicken with baked vegetables, there is only 1 chicken breast and 5 bites of vegetables.

Awesome fun restaurant with lots of different options. Very fresh! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Florence. Will definitely be back!

This place was recommended by someone when I started my trip in Florence (literally on the 1st day). To me it was extremely important to find a place with a great atmosphere, because I was celebrating my birthday during my solo-trip.The staff went above and beyond, not just in the quality of the food and its drinks, but also by how kind and helpful the staff was for a special occasion like mine. Needless to say I made a reservation that I attended at the time of this review, and another one for my last day in the city. Beyond all the places I liked from Florence as a foodie, this is going to be my forever favorite spot, and one I will always want to return to if I happen to be around.As a bonus, I was also given recommendations about places to visit during my stay. What else one could ask? Overly satisfied and content with absolutely everything!11/10 recommend

The chicken fries were so good. We came back twice. Once getting the chicken breast & chicken fingers (more like friesand again with the seared steak and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers won both time. But the other dishes were also really good! Also a great place to get a Bellini!

Great, kind and very fast service. Fast kitchen. Lovely presentation and overall fantastic food. I stumbled upon this restaurant randomly but I will definitely be returning!

very tasty food and great serving, very varied menu, both local products and more international (such as hamburgers). they offer half portions, which are great if you want to grab a quick bite or want to try multiple foods. they offer dine in, take out and also delivery, if i recall correctly.their breakfast, offered if you stay at hotel bretagna heritage (at least from what i have seenis very varied, with options such as fresh fruits, pastry, meat and cheese and more.when we left early in the morning and didn’t have time for breakfast and asked for it to go, we didn’t get to pick what we would get, but they assembled two bags with products we would normally get for breakfast, which was very attentive of them.the servers are very polite and friendly, accommodating both italian and english speakers.

The food is all very good.Well-cooked and definitely worth a try.But the portions are utterly small and you can say overpriced.In summary, i do recommend this restaurant if you’re not really hungry

Stayed at the hotel and was able to enjoy a fabulous farm to table breakfast. The scrambled eggs nice and fluffy, the bacon thick and fully cooked and delicious. We had a couple cups of cafe americano. A bowl of fruit and then a yogurt and sweet pastry’s were just delicious… the staff were warm and friendly. A wonderful way to start the day!!

Situated by the river with a shaded terrace and extensive interior. Some of the best value food and drink Ive found so far in Italy with a basic Spritz going for €3.50 which kept me there until mid afternoon.The sliders and fries start at €6 and are great quality. The only downside of them are that they are served on a shovel which is a huge pet peeve of mine

Had dinner here for a birthday party, so my experience is different from the usual situation, however it is worth to share it.We booked in advance our dinner Saturday evening for about 25-28ish people at 21:30, so I assume the second part of the evening’s service. We did choose the fixed menu for everyone, so we had just to choose the wine for our dinner.Wine was served way after the entrees and, more than that, not everyone at the table got to drink with proper wine glasses (staff justified this saying they hadn’t enough chalices).The food wasn’t that good, we had some fried chicken finger-food, a tiny hamburger and some bbq chicken. The chicken strips were really good, served with a truffle sauce that was delicious; the hamburger was just the patty and some (more than somerocket salad and some cheese, in my opinion its taste was totally untied without any sauce in it. The last course, the bbq chicken, it wasn’t really matching my likes, I tasted just a tiny bit and it was enough for me.My overall so it’s two out of five, one for the location and one for the chicken strips.

Foody Farm has the best chicken strips Ive ever had. The beef tartare was also good, and everything is reasonably priced. The staff is friendly, courteous, and timely. The drinks are well-mixed and strong. So good, I came back on my next trip to Florence.

I had the best simple breakfast and everything was supper fresh straight from the farm. I like the concept as it’s pretty unique. And I had the best pancakes ever in the whole Europe and complements to the chef who even brought me tiramisu sauce to try with the pancakes 🥞😋👌🏻. The service was good also

Nice place and cheap eating and drinking in Florence. We got 2 drinks with burrata, foccacia, fried chicken, fries and 2 desserts for €28. Amazing place, friendly staff and beautiful view from the riverside. We will definitely come back in this place.

Delicious !!We were on the hunt for non Italian food after eating pizza & pasta since being in Italy.The Foody Farm did not disappoint.The duck sauce ravioli was amazing &the pork was cooked to perfection.Staff were super friendly and spoke great English.Highly recommended.

Touristy, but done right. The salami tasting was amazing, and great description of all the different preparations. The "goody" pickled veggies that went with it are very good. My partner got the onion soup, nice on a chilly day and as good as any french onion soup Ive had. Glad we popped in for a bite. Ambiance is nice with classy music that relaxes.

We just bumped into this restaurant while we were all very hungry for lunch, it looked nice from the outside to we went in. The place is really cool, young great stuff, great ambiance, interesting menu, where you can find a variety of food styles, small cores or big ones...prices are reasonable and the service was just great!! We really enjoyed!!!

Came here for lunch and everything was very good. We particularly appreciate that most items on the menu had a "half portion" option. So if you want you can taste two (or moreat once. Decor and atmosphere is very modern and tasteful. I highly recommend the salted pork tenderloin (filletto di maiale sotto sale).

Average food, good service. Bread didnt really have a taste, pasta was okay, creme brulee was just okay as well.

A tour guide recommend this place. We hadnt seen it on TripAdvisor for the reasons I dont understand. Recommend the salt crusted pork loin which frankly is the best meal weve had in Florence.

Foody Farm is a great place to fetch some lunch. Its just outside of the busy parts of Florence. The ingredients are locally sourced, which always adds to the experience. Then, you can tell they invest in the details. The interior design is pixel perfect, and the dishes presented very nice.Only thing I didnt like is that the portions are too small. I ordered the large pasta and a large white wine, and both were at most medium portions.Service was great, and the waiters very nice. Would definitely go again!

Off the charts excellent. Italians have been cooking beef and drinking wine for a really long time. From an Oklahoman who knows good beef and ribs and California wine, this place tops it. The service was great, the atmosphere is awesome (true foods Scottsdale in Florence), and the food is really really good.

Still a nice idea with the thematic design, the food used to be a bit better a few month ago but maybe its just a bad luck of mine, still tasty though. Service is always on point

I had lunch here and was so happy for the fresh ambiance and great food. Such a fun place to eat and enjoy some vino.

We stayed only for the drinks - food menu will be more satisfying for meat eaters.They have a wide selection of local wines and good coctails. Service staff was attentive and helpful. Only one annoying thing there is the light at the bar which is too bright. My eyes were super tired after the visit there

Everything is excellent here. Food, stuff and barman, atmosphere, price, location. Come on, if you are waiting for a table in a queue, stuff will suggest you a glass of shampain for free.

More modern than the average Florentine restaurant, and an interesting concept for a restaurant. However, honestly, as a tourist I would have rather just have eaten at one of the many many pizzerias or panini stores and think I wouldve been more satisfied. Perhaps the menu was too similar to American ones for my liking? The dessert menu is good though; a composition of selected best desserts from all around Florence. Wouldnt recommend for lunch, but later around 11pm the scene gets better.

Absolutely awesome! The menu here is so fun and full of things to try, from "the barnyard" (chicken and eggsto "the garden" (veg). There are great pastas, salads, meats, burgers and sandwiches, soups, cheeses, and everything else. The service is very friendly and both times we went the chef (I believecame out to see us. One time we were a group of sixteen and all was well. Food comes pretty quickly, although once I waited much longer than the rest of my table. Also, it has great decor! What a fun find.

this is an excellent restaurant with delicious food. I will come back again and surely recomend this place! Free wifi and working airconditioning of course is the minimum that I enjoyed with family. thanks!

Nice looking place with an interesting and diverse menu. We took ravioli and beef pasta. The food was good, even if ravioli was not very generous in portions. Waiters were the most average and cold. It was hard to get their attention and they looked obviously unhappy when we returned what was average and stiff bread slices (served in a paper bag).

This place is an incredible gem and complete foist paradise. Reading the reviews, I also ordered the cheese case (€6 per personand was treated to a wonderful array of Tuscan cheeses. I also enjoyed the sausage pasta while those around me ordered savory meat dishes. The portions are generous, and the wine list is substantial. Prices range from €2.5 to €5 per glass. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and the service is terrific. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
