Foodbook Restaurant - Al Hail - Indian restaurant in Seeb, Oman
Good
A great shop with extremely warm people behind the desk, recommended to try their own juice at once its very amazing and excellent, highly recommended
Great Food Especially their Fish Items and their Manchow soup
I have tried the restaurant, the food is nice , the price is lil high compared to other Indian restaurant. The service was not supportive while asking whats best food ?
Average restaurant, but the food quality was better as compared to other restaurants in the area.
Fantastic restaurant, I recommended it.
Faham with rice was extremely disappointing. Fingers were red after washing. Chicken was not served hot and it’s totally not worth 2.5 riyals. The place is cozy but food is terrible and pricey. I don’t recommend at all.
Nice food , nice service for those who love indian food come here and try it
not much good expensive compared quality food specially fried rice not tasty .
As per prizes no quality And quantity
Best place for spending with family, baby chair inside,Tasty food.Good parking also.
Not bad, average taste
Visited in 2018, Friendly Staff Good Food for Reasonable price .
Food tastes okay! Bad service. They expect you to eat chicken lollipops with tomato ketchup! 😵I requested for some schezwan sauce and the server came back saying that ketchup is all they serve with lollipops. Food takes time even when there are really less customers. Honestly, not worth the hype. Seeb Waves next door is much better.
Conjusted dining space. Good food but spicy
For lovers of Indian foods such as brota and chapati from baked goods, I strongly recommend that they have breakfast with lentils and eggs and traditional Indian food such as dosa and others with types such as rice for lunch and grills for dinner. We ate with them for breakfast. The restaurant is very clean. The toilet is very good. The reception and service is great. In Al Hail North, on the first line of the main street, close to Muscat Airport. Yes, I would recommend eating with them
Average food, ambience and service is okay
One of the best. Good food with affordable price.
Average food...Not much tastey...bit expensive
A frequent stop on our way back to Sohar. Quite a number of great dishes available. The prawns ullarthiyathu was too good👌👌 miss the pickled gooseberry though
Tasty food . Worth the experience
Had a normal kerala style lunch. A simple and tasty food for a cheaper price.
Very nice food,especially Kerala food
One of the best destination for kerala and Indian food in Muscat. Al Hale.
Lovely place to gave authentic South Indian food, specially kerala cuisine. Being vegetarian, have thei south Indian thali, which was quite upto the mark in taste, except for quantity of each dish which is part of the menu, can be considered to be too small a portion. Their Rasam was one the best I ever had.Highly recommended, if you want a south indian kerlite meal.
Biriyani is tasty but fish biriyani (2.8 ROprice little bit higher than other same class restaurants. Not recommend for foodies who looking for budget restaurants with reasonable quantity.
I Always fond of Kerala Cu sine and i like mist Meals and Sea Food Items are great on taste. Must Try ..Cheers
Tasty Kerala meals served with great taste. The fish fry are awesome.. The Chicken Dum Biryani and Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani are Grand.. Beetroot pickle is one of their best pickle.. The RASAM was very tasty too...
This place serves wonderful and tasty food. There are variety of cusines - Indian, Chinese, Arabic and continental. Their Indian and Arabic food was something I tried and I loved it. They have varitey of juices and shakes and dessert menu is also decent. I would suggest this place to go along with your family under a budget friendly price
Biriyani was good. Service was very good. But totally disappointed with chicken 65,beef dry fry. Need to improve the taste and quality of the food you have done before
One of the best place to have thalassery biriyani. Other food are also good. I mostly tried biriyani... Ambient space for families. Good service. You can give a call in the number given in google and book your food as well.
Ambience is good, the food quality and taste is good, value for the money. I was totally satisfied. a good place to take your family with good family private rooms.
Very High rate comparing to other same level restaurants, very very poor service especially on parcel and home delivery and poor quality food. Cannot suggest this restaurant to any of my friends. Quality of food and service doesnt meet the rate of the item.
We have tried Malabar food, very tasty, good service and clean. They have explained well about the dish. Keep it up👍👌
An ok restaurant. The seating is of compact space. I mean if you have to enter the seat area it is really hard. They should have reduced one set of seating capacity and it would have been easy for customers. The staff are really cooperative. Price is bit high. One Kerala meals is 1.2 and CB will cost 1.5, etc. One time last year there were some bachelor package especially for dinner. I ordered a beef curry and there was one small piece of beef in that and nothing else. I complained and they informed they will check. Food is OK !
The food was hot and prepared for you. The hotel has more south indian dishes when compared to the other dishes in menu. However the quantity and the price should be reconsidered. The ambience is not so good but the people working there have a smile always.
I had lunch at Foodbook today with friends. We had Kerala Veg Meals, Beef Fry, Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Biriyani and Lemon Tea. The opinion is- Good taste and good portion size.- Decent ambience- Price is slightly on the higher side for certain dishes.
They have lip smacking food variety and in budget pricing. 💓
Very tasty food great ambiance. Very tasty Kerala Style non veg foods. Kerala style lunch is tasty. One of the best biriyani in an south indian restaurant around Muscat. There is a separate section for Families. So its one of the best Kerala restaurant in Muscat.
We tried their thalassery dum biriyani. The taste,plating,portion....everything was excellent. As i am from malabar region, I can assure you that they provide the authentic malabar style biriyani. Their dragon shake was another highlight in their menu ,its taste was amazing. Best malabar food in town.
Comfort food once in a while is what everyone needs to stay sane..this restaurant is one such as they serve the traditional kerala style dishes. I tried their kal appam and beef roast. It was delicious and economical at the same time. Beef roast was exactly same as malabar style with no artificial flavourings. They also serve the famous kannur cocktail...a must try..
They serve orginal thalassery dum biriyani as they use the traditional biriyani rice aka jerakasala rice or kaima rice. The chicken was tender and the masala was at a correct quantity enough for one plate biriyani. They uses ghee in a minimal quantity. Those missing their homely biriyani...i would highly recommend this restaurant.
Yesterday night (5-6-2019)..we went there... I dont like because.. .Too much waiting for food...(50 min)...the quantity of the curry are very small... the rate was more when comapred to other top hotels..the taste also bad.. Its really waste of time... Money. . Health.. .A big disappoinment . we are a group of 20 people..My we are shamed infront of our friends from dubai.
Very Poor Food. Mango juice was not even having 25 % juice ...75% was water. Staff at the counter was not ready to apologise rather he was simply sitting and laughing...All chinese food and soup was thick black colour due to high content of soya sauce.
Really good restaurant with tasty food, especially traditional kerala food. The food is good in taste and quantity too.Little expensive than other places but food is really worth for the money we spent because its that much delicious. The restaurant also have a clean and tidy ambience. The staff behaviour also very nice. Also have family area which we will get privacy with our family.
Very good and tasty food can be accessed by this restaurant. Have parking facilities also. Customer service is also better. The food items are much tasty and affordable. Good place to bring friends and family. Have nice and neat seating facilities and refreshment facilities. Good for quick foodings.
Very nice place, close to the main road, indoor seating , outdoor seating and family room also available. Very big parking outside , separate juice bar , very nice juices , shakes and mocktails, very nice and healthy food, good for big groups and families, 1 good thing to pass your time before food arrives is the puzzle paper they give u , there is Sudoku and two different puzzles to solve, which passes your time easily.. enjoyed it
Had a wonderful experience here.. i had chicken biriyani... It was good.. but can be more spicy.. good ambience.. neat and tidy...nice staff...
A very good place to have South Indian dishes in the near by area. They provide authentic Malabar food at reasonable price. Customer service is average. Only one thing I don’t like is they don’t give drinking water free of cost. (usually supplied free of cost in South Indian restaurants in Middle EastEasily accessible from main road.
Its reopened after renovation. Food is really great, with authentic Malabar touch. Lot of exquisite Indian dishes. Perfect place for someone who loves Indian cuisines.
