Good indian food
The taste is good.freshly prepared Briyani is available on Wednesday and Saturday.
Always love desi food
Poor quality food and served in poor presentation. I felt serving to a beggar without money.dont know many its HI standard in that area of Zurich..
Nice buffet with very tasty curries (veg and non-vegand side dishes. Food is always very tasty and I could kill for the lamb curry (attention Westerners that one is hot!). Nice selection of dishes and fresh prepared bread. The owners are both super nice! Im a frequent guest and was never disappointed so far.Keep it up!
Love it! Great and fair offers for students.
Daily had dinner at this place
Good food available, tastes similar to homemade
Not sure if were hungry and craving for desi stuff but the food was ok, reasonably priced and faurly decent helping. Conveniently located near to Bahnhof Oerlikon. Food is halal per owner.
Good Pakistani and Indian food
I found them very expensive for the quality of food they have. I highly don’t recommend them for the price.
Good quality of food and and also reasonable rate with very devious food. Both with vegetarian and non vegetarian food.Good behavior and good cooperation of crew and all restaurant member. If I come again in Zurich, I will definitely will be the guest of Food Of Punjaab.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Indian food. You will get 3-4 varieties in Veg and Non-veg(in total around 8 dishes). Food was super tasty and spicy like authentic Indian food.Specially you will feel welcomed by the humble owner of this place. Super friendly and decent person.
Very good taste and prices are less.
I love this food here in Switzerland.
Good taste and Hygiene. Felt like homemad when we are out of india I can say. Also he have good humanity for people.
Food is good and quick services for take away
Excellent food. Chef is the owner; very kind and provides great service.
Good Pakistani Food. Owner was very friendly.
Awesome food, the fish dish is exceptional:)
Expensive, like every restaurant in Switzerland. The food was good though. Nice owner too!
Perfectly clean from the inside, nice and English speaking chef, delicious food!
Delicious food, good portion size and affordable price :)
I tried the lamb and the fish menu menu with, vegetables and lentils. Both super tasty. One portion is always enough to feel not hungry for a longer time. Price and spiciness should also be ok for everyone. Very convenient for takeaway.
Good for Samosa...I also tried for take away for dinner and its really good in taste and healthy food. You will get veg and non veg options.
Small restaurant with great Indian/Pakistani food. The ingredients felt fresh. There biryani tasted very good. The seating area is quite small.
Amazing indian halal food at affordable prices in Zurich city. The owner is very kind. They serve very delicious chicken biryani on Wednesday and Saturday after 6 pm. You have to call before 6 pm to reserve biryani.
If I want to eat good indian food and for a quick take away. Then I will suggest this place for sure.. I like there fish curry :). Good price and taste.
Great and in budget as regular indian meals. Owner is such a kind person
Great and authentic Punjabi Food ! I am originally from London, so I do know what I’m talking about ! Go check it out !
Food quality and taste not good... ambience is not good... seating place is very small... price is high for food...
Tasty food and great hospitality shown by the owner and staff. Simply love the food.
Average Indian food and not so much authentic. Maybe given the fact that food has to be as per Western or European pallet. Value for Money is average too.
If you dont want to spoil your mood due to any of the following reasons, then dont visit this so called "Restaurant"1. Food will be served cold, which would definitely be the food remaining from the previous day and it tastes pathetic.2. The person initially behaves to be friendly until your order is placed and soon starts showing his true colours. He is very rude and doesnt even hesitate to verbally abuse his customers. This is not an Indian restaurant and there are lots of other good restaurants in Zürich where you can enjoy good Indian food that would be served by well behaved restaurant staffs.
More like a buffet than a restaurant. The food is prepared and then kept warm. If you come long after its been prepared, the taste wont be that great.I was surprised to see the cook accept payment from other customers, touch money and continue preparing my order without washing his hands.Worst is he overcharges me everytime. First time looked like an accident and he gave me some addiditonal food (CHF 4 overcharge). It happened again, but this time it was "only" CHF 1.
Good food, good people, authentic Indian cuisine. Place is a bit small for sit in, but food is tasty.
Suggest to not visit this place if someone has a self respect of their own, as the owner doesnt know how to treat well their customers and always talk arrogantly and also if you ask anything for extra, always ready to show you their menu items which pasted in their wall and the funny part is that all prices are mentioned in grams for all cooked food like the price of gold, though sometimes taste of food are ok but it seems that the favourite dish of the owner is palak paneer that you find everytime and for the buffet the timing mentioned there in the afternoon till 1:30, but if you arrive at 1:20 then also he starts arguing like only 5 mins r left and now you dont allow for that and have to choose any other options (means option from grams)......And the worst part is that they dont even serve you the normal glass of water and for that you have to buy from there only and also dont allow to drink from your own bottle if you bring with you.
This is not an Indian restaurant! Its a pathetic restaurant with no manners of how to treat there customers who come with lot of hope for getting home like food. The owner does not even offer you water to drink, but instead, if you will bring your own, he will ask you to throw it. Also, food quality is not good if you compare it to the over-priced buffet!!If you dont want to get insulted, please dont eat at this place.Me and my friends never go there after our first experience!Rude behavior, over-priced food, tasteless dishes. AVOID..!!Strongly recommending not to eat at this place.
Limited dish choice (no more than 8-10but very reasonably priced all you can eat place in Zurich.
Beware before you enter. They dont allow you to share even though they have no concept of umlimited food. For some weird reason they dont accept the fact that you share your food even if you are paying for it. In a free switzerland they have established new standards in how they decide on how you are supposed to eat your food.Be prepared to learn that you do not have your freedom to eat your own food or share it. The staff is arrogant beyond belief and are willing to throw your food away rather than let you share it with people.Stupid beyond belief despite the fact that they make good food.
They serve pretty good North Indian food in Zurich. They also accept bulk orders for parties.
Great, tasty food. It satisfied my craving for Indian food while in Zurich and was a short walk from our hotel. The server was friendly and courteous.
Worst possible food. Cannot believe this place is in Zurich. To top it all the owner is the rudest host ever. Only for cheap people who are willing to eat indigestible food and bear snide remarks or sarcastic comments. Best save your health and self respect. Avoid!
Average food. Rather rude host. Charges around 4.5% extra if you pay by card which is rather unheard of in Zurich. Wouldn’t recommend for dining in; should be acceptable for take aways provided you pay in cash.
Food is very oily and very old. No proper replies to any questions. Very rude, bad service and bad behaviour. Very unhygenic also. I will not recommend this to anyone.
Its more or a take away place with a couple or chairs outside to eat. Limited choice but very TASTY food. A bit too oily and the food was pre made...dont expect hospitality if you eat here because it is indeed a take away place.
Average taste, not too oily as some places tend to be. I would go here to satisfy my Indian food cravings after eating European food for a few days straight. Owner can mix things up a little bit as against the standard 5-6 take out options every single day.
Tasty food, friendly service. Good value for money. Ambiance is okay for a take away place.
Great Takeout Meal for under 15 CHF!If you happen to be staying near the airport and crave decent affordable food, you are in luck: buy a short-distance ticket on the #10 tram and get off at Oerlikon Ost. In a heavily immigrant (Middle Eastern, Turkish, Balkanneighborhood on a strip of shisha bars and cevapcici joints, Food of Punjab beckons.11 CHF gets you rice, 2 veg and a chapati. Our 2 veg were saag panir and dal with peas. Both were wonderful and fresh and, unlike at Indian restaurants in the US, contained decent amounts of chili, which was fine with us. For 13 CHF, you get chicken (+rice +1 veg + chapati). The chutney selection is great though sadly they cost 1 CHF per little container. It reminded me a little of those great takeout places in Manhattan that cater to cab drivers, but less greasy and more spicy (and more expensive because it’s Zurich).
