Food bar "Pikanterija" in Split

Easy to get to, Clean and friendly, Service very good Food tasty and nourishing. Hope to visit again soon. A visitor.

Not worth it!

Expectations were quite high because of Tripadvisor, but its not that great. Toppings were tasty, but the bread used on the sandwiches we had was a bit soft and spongy. Not an atmospheric/cozy terrace, even its a Saturday afternoon with fantastic weather.

Guys try to smile a lil bit more. Life is short.

Bread was not very good. Hardly any spread. The sandwich was too dry. Hosts were not welcoming. Wouldnt recommend this place.

Honestly, we stopped here because of the reviews and we were very disappointed. The bread was not fresh, and it was expensive for what we ate.We are not one to complain and leave negative reviews (don’t think I have ever left a bad reviewbut I feel I had to leave one in case someone else goes here based on reviews. It’s just average, we found other great & cheaper options around Split.

Simple but Very Nice

This place is great. I went there once a day for 6 days straight and ordered different sandwiches everytime and wasnt dissapointed at all. The people who work there are superfriendly and the recipes are simple, fresh and clean.Its unusual for me to be satisfied with every meal on the menu. Would recommend this to everyone!If you see this, thank you!We will not be back in a while now. Going home to Sweden!

They arent quite smiley people but the food was very good and tasty. You can choose between sandwiches and salads, and you have plenty of choise. Prices quite small but they have little space. Recommended

Très bon rapport qualité / prix.Les sandwichs sont excellents, avec des produits frais. Ils sont également très nourrissants.La carte est large et variée.Le seul point négatif est que le service nest pas très agréable.

Très très bons sandwiches focaccia le jambon fumé est magnifique, les produits sont frais et les prix sont abordables pour le coin, adresse à retenir pour manger sur le pouce tout en visitant le coin ou prendre son temps attablé sur le trottoir attenant

Great place for a quick grab. We had the tuna raclette sandwich, the cheese smelled really strong when it was being melted, but boy did it taste good. Blue salad was also pretty decent.

Good vegan sandwich. Good option if you’re in the area.

Exelent food with outstanding service. You realy should try this food.

Great food, good vine, you can sit outside under sun umbrellas. Staff speaks English very well and was able to prepare extra sandwich for our small daughter. I definitely recommend this bar and will come back anytime.

I absolutely loved this place!! We stayed in Split for 3 days, and came here everyday. The sandwiches were delicious and there is a lot of choice. You pick what youd like and it is made fresh using focaccia like bread and homemade sauces. The guy whos family owns the shop gave great recommendations and was really friendly - we had a chat with him on our last night. The food and drinks are really cheap, but the quality is amazing! They have wine on tap for 8kn (which is the equivalent of £1a glass, and the sandwiches are about 30-40kn. They also had figs and grapes on the counter for you to eat whilst you were waiting, which were grown on their family farm. Will definitely be going back when I am in Split again. It is a lovely place to sit outside, eat, drink and chat. Could not recommend any more.

In Split 3 days - ate here Every night! Definitely in the top 2 places I tried when in Croatia! Wouldnt have thought it from a sandwich place! Intended to try other places but this place was so good, incredibly affordable, and service next to none that I kept coming back!! At time of visiting, Sept 2018, I got 2 glasses of wine and a very large, amazing tasting sandwich for about 50Kn.Local family run business, with wine on tap (surprisingly decent!- when you go in you might not feel 100% for it but honestly - try something! The food is delicious!!!You might be tempted by Daddy cool across the road but try this first!When I went, they even had a bowl of grapes and figs from their family garden that you could eat (freewhile the sandwich was being prepared fresh for you!Finally, I cant say enough about the service! A truly lovely experience! Thank you!!

This place was the find of our trip to Split. The sandwiches are so good I don’t think I’ll ever eat a sandwich as good again.Our first time we had a lovely lady who helped us choose options. The wine here was also good. The sandwiches are next level. From the delicious bread, beautiful deli meats, the cream spreads and the fresh accompaniments made it all so amazing.We went back the next day, tried something different. This time a lovely young guy assisted us. He was very friendly and chatted with us. Gave some great recommendations on sandwich fillings.If you are visiting Split and wanting something different, absolutely delicious and well priced, then give this place a go.

The freshest ingredients you could ask for! Delicious, mouthwatering sandwiches and large so very satisfying. Good prices and many options to pick from, wouldn’t mind eating there everyday !

Sehr leckere Sandwiches. Die Sandwiches werden frisch belegt und das Brot wird etwas geröstet. Der Geschmack ist sehr gut. Allerdings war das Sandwich für mich alleine zu groß. Ich kann die Pikanterija nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Honestly dont know how this place doesnt have a line out the door. Fantastic sandwiches with awesome sauce options. The women working there are super friendly too! Try the local beer on tap they have if youre able too. Everything was reasonably priced. Would definitely go here again!

Amazing sandwiches! I don’t know how they make the spreads but they are amazing. And they make them tailored to what you want. The bread is cooked fresh daily in shop and it’s great 👌🏽 We went back 3 times. Decent price too.
