Food Lover's Eatery Bank City in Johannesburg

Good afternoonI just wanted to share my experience with food lovers market Fnb bank city.It’s a Friday right ? I know everyone’s tired they’ve had a long day, I was surprised to get great service from the telling when I purchased a litre of still water from the first teller. She was light in complexity highly trained exceptional service from her.I have to admit that the supervisors are not trained well. I received disappointing service from Nonka. Hope management ( Her Manager who took time to stop and answer a simple question regarding water and why food lovers market doesn’t have Alkaline water as yet.Hopefully the message will be relayed. Food lovers is still my favourite store however I don’t see the need for supervisors like Nonka she treats employees small that filters to customers like myself.Sincerely,Siphe

Ordered a pork burrito with chips. When I opened the packaging the pork looked off but I assumed it must be the sauce it was covered in. My assumption was quickly dispelled by the taste, it was disgustingly off. I went back and the friendly security lady directed me to another lady whom the security lady advised would help with the situation. I explained my experience to her and she asked what Id like and I requested a refund. She provided a full refund, asked that I fill my details in and apologised. The aftermath was a stomach ache and diarrhea. The pattern Im seeing with Food Lovers (not just this oneis how off their deli food tend to be and how quickly their "fresh" produce fruits goes off. It is worrisome and disappointing as I love their variety but I think its safer to stick to their smoothies from now on (quite nice and never experienced an issue with them).

This was the worst R50 I ever spent at the eatery the food is not always this bad but today 🤮 not happy at all the fish was terrible the chips was old think it was made yesterday.

They always have good clean fresh produce, the place itself is clean...Their cooks do an impressive graft as well, tried their pasta bolognese, it was utterly satisfactory, more for the reason that the pasta was just about the right texture, not overcooked nor undercooked...

Well Ive been having lunch at the eatery atleast once after 2 weeks and I must say the standard is always tops! A special compliment to Ben Im sure if thats his name I saw it on his Tag he normally works at the Pasta and I must say his service is excellent 😇

Bought some barbecue chicken from the Food Junction...certainly the best tasting chicken that l have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and the flavors so succulent. Definitely coming back for that chicken. Well done chef⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bought some tarts, the filling was runny and they did not taste good od at all.Couldnt even eat them because they were dripping all over the place.

Best food and mini doughnuts in JHB everything is fresh and delicious

The place is clean, think they lost their star Baker, the tarts used to be delicious, now they are just flat, you find there is either too much of something or lack of something

I am very concern about hygiene in this place, as much as they wear gloves I think thats more dirtier. the staff wear those blue gloves all day, when do they get to change them? I once had an altercation with one guy, who was mopping he floor, after putting down the mop he came straight to the shwarmas section and he started touching food, I m not impressed. They need to change those gloves continuously
