Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in West Chicago

This was my first time coming to this establishment. My fiance and I really enjoyed the food and the service. A waiter named Jesus made us feel at home. He explain the process of how the food is served and made sure we were okay, happy and comfortable. It was a very welcoming change to have someone treat you as a person they have known rather than just a customer.

My husband and I went to Fogo de chao for the first time today for our 6th wedding anniversary. Our server was Sam, he was outstanding, knowledgeable and attentive. We had an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

Try Jesus don’t try anyone else!!!! First time to Fogo and it’s like I was family!!! It was my fiancée birthday and she was not disappointed. He walked us the the menu and gave us his suggestions on what to drink and what plan to choose! This was one of my greatest experiences at any restaurant!!! Jesus do your thang bro!!!!

Went here to cash in on a veterans day deal of 50% off. It was a Friday evening and they seemed swamped with customers so take what you will from this review. I have been to this place before when there werent so many people and the review would be different.Food quality was just not very good, especially paying what you normally would get (I got a 50% discount too!). Meat selection was modest, but the steaks were dry. However, it was all seasoned very well and had a decent taste. If it wasnt for the dry steak/beef items I would have bumped this review up a star.Ive been critiquing service a bit more lately and despite the busy schedule the service was great.All in all, I wish the food was better especially for the price you pay.

My husband took me for my birthday and it was amazing! It wss our first experience there. Very short wait time to be seated. The food was great! Our waitress Angelica wss very personable and attentive. When she wasnt around we had Sam that was very helpful. Cant wait to go back!

Let me start off by saying the food is superb, not many places can beat it. The service however? Horrible. If you’re going to charge extra for bottled water when you first walk in explain that. Regular water would have been fine. $22 in water due to the server not saying anything. Brain was rude ALL night, not attentive at all. Passive aggressive to our table and nice to other tables. He was told that we had a birthday in our party multiple times. Luckily he left before we were done eating. Katherine took wonderful care of us. Others beware, ask for someone other than Brian.

10/10 It was such a wonderful experience. It was our first time coming here and it was definitely an experience I would recommend to any and all! Our server Josh was very attentive, considerate, and funny. The other wait staff was just the same. Loved them all :It was my dad’s birthday today and everyone was very sweet and genuinely cared. Not to mention, the food was PHENOMENAL. Will be coming back VERY frequently. Thank you fogo <3

Amazing experience! There were so many options for meat. The salad bar was even included if you ordered an entree. Good drinks as well, alcohol and non alcoholic.

Amazing experience! Especially because of Mike A, Paulo, and Sam provided consistent and accurate service throughout our meal. They responded quickly and made it enjoyable for our entire party!

Our servers Joseph and Julia were very accommodating and friendly and were on top of it since the beginning. Even though were seated at the back corner table, we had multiple people come in and check in on us occasionally to make sure our experience was fulfilling as the food. Joseph even pushed my chair in as we were being seated which is not something I’ve experienced in other restaurants on the higher end. Food was great as well as the employees

I love the veggie/cheese bar. The plantains and bread are so great. The meat is good. Tasty drinks. Nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly!!! The staff including the manager kept checking in on us throughout our meal, which was delightful.! The only thing is we had to ask for certain meats to bought to our table, which hasn’t been my previous experience at Fogo de Choa. However once we requested it, the staff happily and efficiently got those meats served to us.

Absolutely outstanding. The food, variety and quality. The steaks, specially the picanha, are great. Very thankfull to our servers, Sam, Wyatt and Tom

Guys get ready to eat too much! Overall: Service was nice: waitresses were kind and smiling. Pricewise, it is ok: full service (buffet plus unlimited meatwas around 60 bucks per person (plus tips). There is one minor pricing error or backdoor in the menu: grilled salmon plus buffet was cheaper then only buffet 😅. Half price vine bottles were also a nice for your budget.In general I liked it. Would I visit them again: yes but once a year since I am not that much into the meat.

The staff was friendly, energetic, and willing to chit chat with us as well as helping us with any of our needs. The food was AMAZING. Almost exactly like you would find in Brazil. They even found out it was the birthday of one in our group and offered a free desert even though it was actually after closing. Will do this again.

Love coming to Fogo Naperville, Joe and Nick are the best! They are very welcoming, attentive and always make sure all tables are happy and getting what they need or want. Even the meat carvers today were awesome too. For some reason today’s experience was beyond great. They’re all working hard and very pleasant. We always do the full churasco experience for endless meats. My favorites are the pork ribs and house special picanha great desserts also

Joe, Demi, and Josh are the best!! Food delicious--seriously come in with an empty stomach--and the cheese is to die for!!! Love that you really get your moneys worth, and the service is outstanding to boot! Every bite was delicious, and the taste was authentically South American (speaking as a native lolAlso, Im pretty sure I had an existential moment when I tried the crème brûlée haha Will most certainly be back, one thousand percent 💖

More than a restaurant its a dinning experience. The Salad bar is fantastic and the seemingly endless service of main courses selections are fantastic. The food and service are both top notch. Another must try.

Our dinner experience was very great, much better experience than another location we went to. The staff was extremely kind and respectful. Definitely recommend this location.

Nathan and Alyssa are very attentive to their customers that they are serving. This is my second time to this location and hands down the best service. I will definitely be back.

I went here for my eighth grade graduation celebration, the food and service were amazing. I especially liked the bacon-wrapped chicken. Our server Andrea recommended a drink not included on the menu and I loved it. Betsy and Aneta made sure we had a wonderful dining experience by their swift service. We will definitely be coming back and we recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys food.

We took my FIL there for the first time and Joe took amazing care of us. The food and customer service were excellent. Joe is very personable and we had a great little conversation. When he found out it was my FIL first time there, he let my FIL picked out a free dessert to make him feel welcomed and celebrated.

We had heard about Brazilian Steakhouses but this is the first time we had dined at one. Very impressive interior and all working there were attentive and pleasant. Out server Nico was very helpful in explaining the menu and stopped by numerous times to see if all was well. Besides that people were taking our used plates very quickly and bringing us clean ones while others were bringing out cheese buns and other sides to eat along with the plentiful meats that were coming around right at the right times. We tried some of most everything and those that we liked the best we had again. We visited the beautiful salad bar twice and just took a taste of what we thought we would like so that we didnt fill up too fast. Everything was very good. We would highly recommend this as a spot to visit, relax and enjoy. There was no rush whatsoever but when we indicated we were ready for our check, Nico was right there with it. Even after we had paid there was no rush for us. We sat and enjoyed the atmosphere for a few minutes longer. Wonderful.

Second time at this location within a month. Absolutely outstanding service every time! The staff is always super nice and accommodating. Have any requests let them know and they will deliver! The meats are cooked to profection. I always pass 3 other locations to come to this one well worth it! Can’t wait for my next visit! Oh and the desert is on point!

Had my first Fogo dinner experience at this location about a month and a half ago as part of a bachelor party. Loved it so much I recommended it for a birthday dinner a few weeks later. The food is PHENOMENAL and worth every penny of the price for the experience. The guys bringing around the meat are almost overwhelming because there are so many choices and so many things to try. The salad bar was packed with choices and everything I tried was delicious. Our servers Mike and Brooke were really on their game and made our 2nd visit a birthday dinner to remember. Easiest 5-star rating Ive ever given to anything on any rating platform. Hope to be back sometime soon.

The service here is great, everyone is very kind and there is a great variety of meats always ready to be served. They also attend to everyone as quick as possible which just makes everything run smoothly 👌🏼 The dessert here is also really good, we got a tres leches cake and a chocolate molten cake, Id recommend these to anyone 👍🏼

A super busy atmosphere. Some of the food was good and some of it was over cooked. The buffet are your sides, mostly cold but a couple hot. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Sooo much meat and it keeps coming. Great place to overeat and loosen your belt.

The service was amazing from walking into the door to on the way out. The staff was wonderful, courteous, impeccable. Food was perfectly cooked. Very clean and enjoyable ambiance. Josh and Brian were absolutely the best servicing us on our first experience here which they made it unforgettable. We will be back again. Worth it all the way.

Came in for lunch with my girlfriend. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place but was sorely disappointed with my experience.Our server got visibly frustrated when my girlfriend was confused about how the churasco experience and the food bar worked. We probably waited 10 minutes before we were offered any cuts of meat even though they were constantly serving tables near us. When they finally started to serve us, our servers were coarse and inattentive. One of the cuts was as tough as shoe leather and a couple others had way too much fat on them but still in general the meat was incredible. I was also disappointed because I asked if they could bring by some different cuts of meat and they never did despite asking multiple times.Despite the negatives, I really enjoyed most of the meat and especially loved the cheese bread and bacon at the bar. Still though, this is hailed as a premium dining experience and our time here definitely fell short of that! We both feel like we were short changed. We would go again, but considering our experience there’s no way we would at that price point.

Great concept, we had a lovely dinner here. We were in a group of 6 people and ordered the “Experience”. Great selection of meats such as steaks and lamb chops etc was brought to our table every 10 minutes. We could chose from 16 kinds of excellently prepared meats. Salad bar was nice too, everything fresh. It is kind of pricey but if you like great food and drinks this is a good place.

Over the weekend, weve celebrated my close friend birthday. The service was exceptional!! Patricia, Steve, Val and Jesus did an AMAZING job to make our party feel comfortable and provided everything we needed. They even went above and beyond to create a birthday dessert out of fruit 🎂!! My friend does not eat diary products and they were able to accommodate her. Now, thats excellent customer service!! Overall, the ambiance was great and the food was delicious!!! Thank you all for wonderful dinner!!

I came here with My Husband to celebrate our Anniversary, & our waiter Josh was so helpful and accommodating to our needs and told us everything about the restaurant and how it works. I really appreciate the time you took to let us know about the menu. Thank you so much it made our experience wonderful thank you Josh!!!!! I would definitely come back again!

10/10 highly recommend! Aneta and Erica were absolutely amazing! The service the provided was beyond anything could expect! There entire wait staff and team went above and beyond! Also the food is amazing! The meat came out hot and fresh and off they did not have any they made fresh and brought it right out!

This was our first visit to Fogo De Chao and we can’t wait to return! Erica quickly sat us at our table, explained the process, and set us on our way. Aneta checked in with us periodically to make sure all our needs were met. She was exceptionally friendly and kind. Nicolas also stopped by and made sure we were well taken care of. We were very impressed with the servers, the bus people, and the other staff members who checked in with us. The food was delicious! The salad bar offered opportunities to sample unique flavors and every meat was succulent.Every part of our visit was special.

This was my first time coming but definitely not my last. I thought that the steaks was the only meats until I saw the market table and was blown away by the charcuterie selection!!! Server Dan M was excellent in telling me what wines to pair with the selections from the market table !!!! And then the dessert came and was amazing loved everything about the experience I will make this a ritual lol!!!!

I went there with my wife Saturday. There was two nice gentlemen at this thing called a market table. They made an omelette and waffles with our meal. I got the full experience with two delicious desserts. They made sure we got some medium rare steaks. My favorite was the garlic steak. It was like love at first site.10/10. We both ate dessert that was amazing and creamy cheesecake. Please take me back to this amazing day.

Really good selection of meats and very delicious buffet, the drinks were strong(A1and the desert was heavenly. Overall amazing first time a restaurant hits all the marks on the first try. We will be running back soon

Great lunch! 13 of us. Kids 7 to 10 half off and kids under 7 eats free. Salad bar half off during lunch time. Will come back again.

Manager: excellent, he checked on us, noticed I had an issues w one of thr meat types my daughters, made my daughters meal complimentary.Room: too cold.Food & the meat guys: excellent. The meat servers are very very friendly & respectful.Fruits: fresh pineapple & papaya & some other fruits.Tiny cakes in the salad bar were so tasty...see the pics.Service: not good. Erica was a bit busy, rare friendly gestures from her, she didnt even ask once if we needed more water. See the empty water glasses. I dont blame her, I blame the workforce shortage & perhaps incomplete training.Conclusion: great food, good manager, service suffers from shortage of workers.

Great place! Delicious Brazilian barbecue. Mr. Ivo received us very well and gave us all the necessary support.We had a wonderful time here. You must try it!

Wonderful dining experience. We visited from out of state for dinner. We were here to celebrate a promotion and early birthday. The food is delectable. The ribeye, filet mignon, and grilled cheese are the stars. There are many meat options in circulation. The service is attentive and amicable. The salad bar is fresh and stocked with many dishes like fresh mozzarella with tomatoes, different salads, dressings, grilled vegetables, fresh fruits, salami and deli meats. We very much enjoyed our experince and the service from all the wonderful staff.

Went to Fogo Naperville for a date night with my wife. Had 7pm reservations and we were sat immediately. Our wait staff was great, especially Erica T who made sure our table was taken care with refills and clean plates. She was very personable and made our dining experience great.

First time here and it was a wonderful experience! Josh was attentive and wonderful at his job! Ivo and Josh made it a great first time experience! We will come back! Highly recommend and if possible ask for Josh!

Very nice place with nice Christmas decorations. We came here for brunch and the servers were attentive and polite. They had many options at the salad bar. Great drinks! Meat was good, but out of the 14 listed under brunch experience we got 10 and servers were bringing the same meat back. They didn’t bring out the 4 Brazilian side dishes to us until like mid of the service and other tables that came after us already got them. I had to ask for them. Other than that, cool spot!

Had such a wonderful, attentive service from both Joe our waiter and Ivo from Customer Relations. Me and my guest had such a great dinner. The atmosphere is so open and lively. Everyone makes you feel like family and willing to assist in any questions you may have. Joe was great while making sure that we enjoyed the food while checking in on us. Ivo was able to answer our questions about the grilled cheese. Which was my absolute favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Both of these gentlemen were great and will hope to see them soon.

Everything was phenomenal from the bar before dinner, the servers walking around with swords of meat, to our table servers Nathan, Ivo, and Gabe. Not to even mention the food which was absolutely phenomenal. My wife doesn’t even eat meat and the cauliflower steak plus market bar had her talking about when we should plan to come back. Was a phenomenal night out and will definitely be returning soon. Also save room for desert the chocolate truffle cake was amazing!

Came here like always to celebrate any special occasion. This time in particular we were celebrating 4 September birthdays. Always great customer service from the hostess to the front bar. Big shout out to our awesome server Joe. He did a great job taking care of us, also happy belated birthday toJoe. Will definitely come back again and again.

Excellent service. I had the Wagyu with the pineapple lemonade. It was a great experience. Although i might have gotten medium next time. It comes served on a hot Himalayan Salt rock, so it remains hot which is nice but it also gets too salty if youre not careful.
