The best barbecue and many variety of meat in a professional and special place, also the service is amazing I highly recommend

We went for lunch with no reservation. The staff proceeded to seat us outside in a little corner table for 3. It was uncomfortable as there is a huge pillar right next to the seat. We asked to be seated inside and they obliged but as we went to sit in the well-lit indoor area near the buffet we were instead ushered to sit in yet another corner table for 2 in the indoor dining area. It was dark and hot. The manager later came to ask if everything was ok and I commented on the seating to which he said that its fine...all seats are fine. This is odd as he dismissed my complaint but thankfully put on the Aircon which helped cool us down. Its of note that there were hardly any customers so we should have been given the option to chose where we want to sit. This is the reason for removing one star.The meat was ok. Abit underwhelming as there was not much variety...lots of beef. Loved the cocktails and the wide variety of salads. The desserts were ok..not so many options.Save for the seating issue, the staff were generally pleasant.I will try the Westland for comparison.

No gross negatives, no gross positives. I was expecting the best grilled food in Nairobi, but this wasnt it. Having said that, it was palatable if a bit overdone. Lovely salads though.

Their garlic beef was my favourite. I was too full by the time their special pineapple cinnamon dessert was served. But it was not bad too. There really was too much meat and the salads were great. A tip I learnt though, dont fill your plate with too much salad or rice, you need more space for the meat itself. Thats if youre a meat person. The ambience is great too for both groups and small groups. Ostrich and crocodile meats? Will probably try that some other time. Id go there again if I have another chance.

My fiancee and I had a good experience at Fogo Gaucho, the food was excellent and good attentive, friendly service also. However at the entrance of the building complex we had a bad experience with the security guards who were aggressive, rude, unhelpful and unpleasant. They rushed us out of our taxi and were rude to the taxi driver. More attention should be paid to that as that sort of treatment of customers can put people off from returning, hence why I cant give you 5 stars.

Made an early email reservation but no reservation had been made when we arrived & upon asking, the lady at the reception brushed it off with a sheepish joke. I found that lame. To add salt to the injury, the meat supply service/interval was very slow...it felt like we were begging them to serve us meat. The waiters were also very quick and receptive towards the white people at the restaurant...this race demeaner by Africans needs to change...The Westlands branch service is far better and nice. My partner and I are definately never visiting again. It was her birthday dinner and this really disappointed us. Bad experience and definately a great eye opener.

The location is very strategic even for one who is not very conversant with the hood will quickly get there via Google maps. The area is very spacious with an outdoor sitting area just incase you need to get the breeze. The staffs are very friendly and love the fact that the supervisors are amidst and always ready to resolve or attend to any issues. My only recommendation is on the pineapple dessert having gone to Fogo Westlands these are 2 different products from the same company.

Customer service was fine and ok.. they respect each and every customer, I just love how they helped me celebrate my 3year old baby and sang for her.. My baby really had a great time since she enjoys eating meat..

My second Fogo Gaucho to visit. Meat always in plenty. Tasty and juicy as always. The place looks beautiful, the glass roof and doors were amazing for the outdoor sitting. Parking space readily available. The downside is that I found the waiters in Kilimani to be slower and less vibrant than the ones at westlands.

The staff at the door was great and were happy to resit us when we complained about the cold draft coming through the doors.Our waiter was not that great and there were several ball drops with my son waiting over 45 minutes for his milk shake and my colleagues drink being completely being forgotten. I suggested they carry note pads.The selection was great at the salad bar. I was however concerned that it is definitely not Covid secure. We all used the same serving spoons with no option for gloves.The meat was ok. Although not the 17 cuts they advertise on their site. Meats that came through were sausages, grilled chicken, beef steaks, beef medallions and beef Hump. Thats it. Disappointed by that.The deserts were also underwhelming with vanilla cake, fruit salad, store bought vanilla cupcakes (you could see they pulled off the cupcake liner and topped with whipped cream), biscuit pudding, cups of plain whipped cream and creme caramel.The best part for all of us was the salad bar.2.5/5 stars. Great service and amazing bbq plus an amazing sense of humor by Johnstone who made sure we laughed over and over again..Johnston took very good care of our table and if it’s your birthday don’t worry cause these guys come through with a cake oh also the manager is so hospitable..I definitely recommend this

A good outing, but seems they want to pull a fast one on you w the bill if youre not keen. Some meats 🍖 tend to be on the well done end ..dry and dense. Just ask for more succulent cuts. Great salads!

Awesome Brazilian Steak House with upto 17 different cuts of meat! The service was superb, the salad bar was full of variety and the pricing is cheaper than Carnivore but with more to offer.Highly recommend as a must visit while in Nairobi...first authentic capirinha ive had this side of the sahara ! The staff are friendly, responsive and proffesional ! Kudos from me !

This is the best Brazilian steak joint in town. If you are looking for a place to bring your work team, this is it. They offer almost if not all types of meat for the all you can eat package. The place is also very vert spacious with a capacity of almost 250 seats but very well organised. Their service is on another level. I highly recommend.

Always love going back to Fogo Gaucho.Its a different experience with selection of meats to choose from - if youre a meat lover like me.Go and try new things, like a crocodile meat - Yes!As a veteran hear me when I say Do not fill up with starters before the real meal comes, however you might be hungry.And oh the cooked pineapple rolled in cinnamon!! Yum yum - ask for more.

Absolutely amazing service all the way through, all the staff are very friendly and always ready to help and make the experience even better. The meat and fish was fresh and hot and the side buffet dishes had a lot of options to pick from. They also came around with fresh hot fries which was lovely. Thank you for an amazing time, definitely a must visit for meat lovers.

Ambience and space is beautiful. COVID guidelines were enforced and adhered to. The wide range of meats is definitely worth it. Children under five eat free and children below 12 eat at a discounted rate. The customer service was brilliant with servers quick to ensure that youre comfortable. Definitely worth the treat.

The service is good. Was given options that were more pocket friendly. Had the pork with lyonnaise potatoes, okay. The place has been highly praised. I was veeery disappointed. The pork had sm light marinate i couldnt taste, no honey glazed anything. Not much to choose from

Fogo Gaucho is a meat lovers paradise. I love the whole set up of the restaurant and found it pretty impressive. Set in a lovely mall in Kilimani, it is easily accessible as its located on the ground floor. The restaurant offers about 16 different cuts of meat and we had everything from crocodile, lamb, sirloin of beef, sausages, ostrich, pork chops, fish fillet, shrimp, all well prepared and seasoned... it was definitely a meat attack! There is a salad bar with diverse offerings and also a dessert corner for afters. The waiters are very professional and the general ambience is great! Live music from a band too. Overall, a very good experience.

An all you can eat restaurant thats got great food. Had a good variety of meat and is quite tasty. Definitely a good break from the bland east African meals. If youre visiting from West Africa and looking for a good place to dine with friends, you should definitely give it a look. Its located some 2 minutes drive from the popular ihub in Nairobi
