Flying J Travel Center in Edinburg

0900 on 10/9/2022 Need to do laundry and ask for $10 in quarters and was told no they do not give change . Its not like they dont get the quarters back out of the laundry machines. We as drivers need to be able to do laundry, shower and eat unfortunately flying J dont give 2 rats about us drivers🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Was refused fuel and weight receipt. Clerk says my door was hitting the speaker on scale.if they have cameras, how would they say it did when it didnt.were even yelling at me.the pregnant clerk said she was the manager, so i guess that explains her attitude. Both clerks were yelling.i even have it on video.Bad bad experience here. 10/01/21 1:45 p.m..she even told me to go somewhere else..i have her saying it on video..over 900 dollars of diesel that i ended up fueling somewhere else..her name is Jessica.

No fuel today. Servers down. obsolete system.

The truck stop itself was nice the staff in pilot super friendly. The dennys however was a different story the most unprofessional rude abnoxious waitress. After waiting 20 minutes for our check took ourselves to the front to pay (they were not busy at all. When I asked the woman behind the counter about our check and waiting I got a flush off attitude snapping and waving fake nails at me and my family and told "what ya want me to do about it I didnt serve you" I said I didnt appreciate the attitude and I just got more. The manager came over as she was just getting loud and more obnoxious and seemed to find the whole thing funny. I just walked away at this point to hear "You cant get me fired im the best waitressthey have ".......oh honey deflate your ego to think your that important Id take time to even make the effort. Honestly with that attitude I think being a waitress at dennys is the best career your ever going to get. I just feel sorry for the store owner and any future customers that have the misfortune to sit in your section. Peace out

This morning I had very bad experience there with the Manger her name is Jessica shes rude person and Jaun both of them are so rude they have attitudes with the customers truckdriver deserve a little bit of respect cus because of us they wouldnt have job there. We truckdrivers keep this world moving we feed u all we deliver fuel everything u get it from us.We need to be teated with respect not with attitudes.

I have a vehicle that requires the high octane or else it will give you a check engine light . Every time I fill up at this flying j with the premium gas , I always get the check engine light . I can go to any other station and pump premium and my suv will be good no check engine light . This leads me to believe they are selling that regular unleaded as premium and ripping off the customer . If your looking for premium gas this is not the station to get fuel .

This is a great truck stop! Even if there are parking spaces available for you to park in, they will not say a word to you if you want to sleep in a fuel island........

Great truck stop...I really like the chicken sandwiches they sell and the pizza slices are really good too. Employees are very nice and friendly.

Only 1 person charging and there’s a long line. Just came in to get a scale ticket and it’s been paid just need a copy.

I always shopped here and had problems before but ignored it been trucking for 5 yrs now I ask if I can sell a bit of candy for my daughters school and got rejected I very family oriented but they will accept my business last time I go their loves and ta is where ill be

Why can they not keep paper in their gas machines for receipt. When you go inside you stand in line again and wait sometimes a good cashier sometimes bad. I need a receipt at the pump PLEASE

Very busy place , bathrooms were clean .and i picked up a few items .like a coin purse , a hobo bag , and some chicken!

This Truck Stop still makes people wear masks.Bought 60 dollars in gas walked in used the restroom, grabbed 2 waters and a monster, stood in line and was refused service because I wasnt wearing a mask.

The drinks were cold but my gosh it’s dirty outside. The ladies restroom was dirty, paper everywhere. The outside was dirty too. I know truck drivers can be messy but the golf cart just sat there and cleaned nothing! Trash everywhere!!!!!

I advice you NOT to pay at the pump. Go inside! Someone got my card information from the pump one time and tried to purchase something for $110 later that night. My card was declined tho due to an incorrect zip code LMAO. Don’t risk it cause they might get your zip code right if you live in Edinburg.

Employees were stealing Waters a few days ago when they had no power. But in fact They did have power... And gas turn people away only for their selfish needs I hope the regional manager gets involved

I would give this Flying J minus stars. We will never go to another Flying J or Pilots. 3 strikes. This one in Edinburg Texas refused to fill our propane tank in our RV on a day that Texas had winter freeze warnings for record breaking below freezing temperatures just because it was misting. Called Loves in Donna Texas and they were happy to fill our propane even thou it was misting. We will now go to Loves. The gentleman filling our propane was so nice and friendly compared to any employee we have had at Flying J or Pilots.

The cashier was rude and condescending. When you deal with the public, you should have an inviting tone, and it does not matter what you have delt with at work or dealing with in your private life. No one wakes up in the morning expecting to stop at a store and be treated with disrespect. We spent several hundred dollars on fuel this time, but I would rather run out as to stop there again.Also, they have had no water (restrooms, showersfor customers for at least a few days.

5 stars last time, I was here in the summer and it was clean inside and out, now nice people and I been all across the Country a few times I know alot of Drivers are pigs and its hard to pick up after them, by right no one should have to.... but my god is it filthy

a place worthy of the smallest star. nothing works, shower is old, laundry stinks and doesnt work. I would never come back here.

jessica is very rude uneducated on what is customer service! she has a huge line of people yet wont assist nobody because is more important for her to put away the cigarette boxes! she has an attitude problem! not good for the store!

Showers pretty clean the laundry room is kind of old, The parking lot look like it could take 300 trucks, they have a Dennis look like his 24 hours, to Atl‘s the cash rest of register it’s clean, The food is hot and cold beer that’s all a truck need after a hard day at work, The customer service is excellent,

..after a hard almost 24hour shift..and not having such a good morning start..the shower was awesome loved it really cleaned showers..and the cleaning lady was nice when i asked her for an extra towel..over all loved it..ty..

If you have low air pressure in one of your tires please do not stop here. The air machine will take your money but you won’t get any air. You also will not get your money back because the machine although is on flying J property does not belong to flying J. They leave this nonworking machine out there so that they can steal your money. There are two truckstops just north of the Monte Cristo exit that have air and friendly service.

All the places have great customer service, then I get this place, cant get what you wants to buy. Have to wait to get what you want. Long wait.. poor service.. poor mangers skills, lack of communication. Storm you out the store... Must be hard to find good workers.

This is in all honesty one of the greatest flying J’s I have been to. You can get gas anywhere but you will never find a staff as genuinely nice and friendly and as great at service than anywhere else. Jessica exemplifies this more than anyone that I have met thus far and as well as Julio who is also wonderful in his service. Thank you sincerely.

We always stop here to fuel up on the way out of Edinburg. (We now live in Central TexasThe cashiers are always fast regardless of how long the lines are. Always friendly and clean. Plus my nephew and I love their chicken wings. The gas is usually a little on the higher side so even if you dont fill up there its still a good place to stop for snacks, fountain drinks or to use the restroom before you hit the road. Another little bonus is that Delias is right next door so you can grab a dozen or 2 fir the road.

My favorite stop every morning for coffee! The early morning crew that is there till 7am are the friendliest guys! (Not sure the names but one rides a scooter)... super nice staff

Courteous employees that welcome you on entry, and thank you for your business. They offer discounts on fuels. Always clean, and easy on and off freeway.

Dennys is great. Waitresses are sweet. Showers were clean. Lots of 4 wheelers going around truck parking area with bass in high.

Average truck stop. No complaints except the lines are sometimes a little slow. It shouldnt take 5 or 6 minutes to hand someone your money. If they dont want it, I can hand it to someone else I guess.

Well I work here, I never thought that I wouldnt be working with such awesome team. We are always cleaning and making sure our guests are always satisfied every time they come in to the front door. Hope to see you at flying J- Edinburg.

Went to this storewxtra instead of staying at the little mom &pop gas station as I wanted to have a shower this evening, a coffee and fuel in the morning. Well the shower system w as down and wouldnt give the code to get into the showers so they shut them all down. I have been at places where the showers are then manuallly opened with your key. These people working this evening havent been informed about this method. Instead, I wont have a shower and also not buy fuel here in the morning. Most likely will fuel at a different fuel station. By the way, If they dont need to clean showers then the washrooms should be cleaner than they were.I feel gross this night thanks to this dump.

Nice place for Truckers good service

This flying j is good place to park your semi truck but there is big problems that will cost you alot money if you are reefer someone will come nighttime when all the drivers sleeping and cutting your reefer fuel lines adding water and oil your reefer tank this is the biggest issue in this place alot of drivers was complaining that damage this week. You are bringing money for them instead of appreciation from them they will damage your property you will end up paying thousands of dollars this is business place they should bring security guard take your own risk if you go this flying j👎👎👎

Not that bad of a truck stop in that there is plenty of room to park. The main issue that is present is the overall lack of security in the lot. Be aware that there is a high probability of damage if you run a reefer. Someone decided they wanted to stop my reefer by cutting the fuel lines on my trailer. Park at your own risk.

Called for propane, told 6 minutes. After 15 called again, guy was gone to lunch, back in hour. Ate at Dennys, then called again for propane, waited 15 minutes, then after all that tried to process Good Sam discount...after 20 minutes, gave up. Great facility, marred by short, inflexible staff.Will stick with Loves in this area.

This is so disgusting the ice coffee machine was the same way. Someone is not doing their job really wanted to tell someone but it was entirely too busy in there and I am a driver and needed to run. Please clean this up someone is going to get sick

This particular Flying J has a decent size. They have a make shift truck wash/tire shop/tacqueria in the back. Its kind of weird because this is a major name brand truck stop. There is a restaurant attached as well.I stop here because it is the closest place I can get fuel.They really need to fix their parking lot. There are tons of potholes and uneven surfaces.If they fix the potholes, I will increase their star rating to four stars.

Restrooms are super clean here, since its a truck stop, its a one stop shop. They sell hot food, they have showers, stuff for your vehicle, shirts, souvenirs, etc. Its a pretty neat place.

Place is alright, as far as flying js and pilots are concerned, this one is pretty cruddy. Its pretty busy here but there arent many options, as far as truck stops in the area. If you compare to Loves and TA up the road, this place is great and super clean.Had to take a star away from them as I just bought hot "food" and they put in with cold drinks. By the time I got back to my truck both burgers were cold. Look, they found a way to make horrible food even more so.

Small pilot but was fast in and out! Remember to join the awards to get 4 cents off the gas prices

This place is great and can get much better if they cut the waiting time of customers.The waiting time is about 3 to 15 minutes. That includes showers, coffees, fax, scales tickets. .......To Management/Corporate : Please make these small changes which is really easy to do so that you wont help your competitors for they will attract your loyal customers.To drivers: let us be fair on rating please. This location deserves more than 2 *

I dont see how this place can get a 5 star rating. This FJ is so disgusting and filthy. The service is slow and with an attitude. Dennys here is poorly ran. Showers often have no towels. And let us not forget the millions of Texas Crows flying around the parking lot, no doubt carrying disease. I feel like Im in an Alfred Hitchcock movie. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I have been driving trucks for 23 years and have been to quite a few truck stops. Unfortunately I cant give a MINUS 5 STAR rating...This is the nastiest, dirtiest truck stop Ive ever been to. I would not eat ANY food here unless its from a package on a shelf. I have to stop here every 2 weeks and this place has not gotten any cleaner over the past year. Flying J should be ashamed to have their logo on this building. The bathrooms are disgusting, the coffee area is a mess, they wont make fresh coffee unless the pot is bone dry, noone cleans/wipes down counters, EVERY time I come here the soap dispensers are empty in mens room, I really feel gross when I am here, like I might catch some wierd disease or get food poisoning, or both. You can stop here ANY time of day or night and this place is FILTHY.... Whoeever is in charge of this truck stop should be fired... TOTALLY INCOMPETENTThere are some friendly cashiers here, and if you dont mind eating potato chips or candy for dinner you might be able to stand this sh@!hole of a truckstop. Its almost like the laws and standards for the U.S. dont apply here..... food safety? cleanliness?? HAHAHAHADRIVERS, GO ANYPLACE ELSE!!!

Has dumping station for RVs and buses, $5 with Pilot card, $10 without. Very clean. Some friendly staff, others maybe not so much. Selection of hot food items like pizza, chicken tenders, potato wedges, and egg rolls; and also cold salad and sandwich options (all up at the counter area). Bathroom even has pumice scrub soap!
