Happy hour at flowing tide 3-6pm and 10-midnight is one of the best deals in Reno. You have to try everything on the menu. And 50% off beers!

Food,beer and football.. 👍 they got a decent menu.

It was ok. Service was just ok, food was just ok. Not bad but not 5 star worthy.

Consistently good salads, burgers, Reubens, fish & chips. But very LOUD when its busy.

Ignored by our waitress for over 15 minutes who had no problem going to every other table. The place was also half empty, so it wasn’t because they were busy. Multiple other servers made eye contact but nothing was done in the end. We ended up just walking out and won’t be back. Sierra Gold right across the street was much nicer to us.

Place was great. Super nice and friendly.

It certainly a great locals hangout with good food, good employees and a good atmosphere. Its consistent!

Has gone downhill! The food is so plain tasting im not sure there was any flavor. The slot machine definatly malfunctioned during play. On black jack $3 doller double down bet never gave my 3rd card. I still won! but a malfunction a malfunction. I was asked to substitute my bacon for toast and although i was upset i agreed but instead of toast i got patato slices.My personal preference is management just does not care. You could not pay me to return.

My favorite spot for a cold adult beverage, and wonderful tasting food!

The foods okay happy hour if you order two beers they bring both of them to you right away but if you sit at the rail they punch them in and give them to you when 1 at a time

The wife n I met a friend there 4 a few beers n then we hadta go n take care of some other things, great place 4 a gita-gether. Cd beers, good menu selections n friendly staff.

Service was awesome! Waitress was very attentive to our needs and really deserves a 10/10 rating! The food is what disappointed, I had a very flavorless mushroom burger. Fries were yummy though.

The food was pretty good. I had the Blue cheese burger with a side salad and that filling. Its a pub but I definitely saw a couple of families also enjoying a meal. They have an alright right selection of beer

Walked in on a Saturday morning right at opening. I dont think anyone saw us come in so we flagged down a server. Ashley was kind, pleasant and cheerful. Ordered breakfast. Omelette with some substitutions and the tidal breakfast. Two eggs over medium, bacon-limp, rye toast (came dry which is what I preferand OBrien potatoes. It was excellent. Service was amazing and I completely enjoyed my meal.They also have two happy hours. 2-6p and 10p-12a. 50% of beers as $7 apps.Ill def be back for this.

Met a special friend for lunch. Had chicken fingers and fries. It was very good. Have eaten here many times, food and service has always been good.

Fun and casual neighborhood pub. Good selection of beers on tap, larger than normal (for pubsmenu; good eats. Slots at the bar, pool tables, many TV screens to make sure you don’t miss a play.

Ive never set foot in here but heard good things from other friends.The opportunity came after last nights Reno Ice Raiders victorious win over the Fond Du Lac Bears. I didnt know they had happy hour from 10p-midnight so I thought Id take advantage of things. The choices were wings and fries, strips and fries, a quesadilla, tacos, or something else I cant place. I chose two chicken tacos and chips and salsa.Tacos, like pizza, can be prepared in several ways. The tacos made here were flavorful and filling. The chips reminded me of a company from the Bay Area called Casa Sanchez. This is designed to be complimentary. Im not sure if FT makes their chips in-house but if they do, bravo! They could have used a little more salt, at the same time I could have added it from the shaker on the table. The salsa left a lot to be desired. I was going to make this a 4-star review but seeing the salsa was the only glitch in the matrix, I didnt think that was a fair judgment.Overall, the atmosphere was electric, people were having a great time, and the food was most certainly enough of an invitation to go back soon. OH, and before I forget, props to the server whose order tablet had the endurance to make it through the Reno Ice Raiders food, drink orders. She was the true MVP.Thanks, Tide! See you guys again.

Love this place. Good bar food along with many other specialty dishes. Cool nautical vibe!

My favorite flowing tide to grab lunch. Everyone is super friendly just like any flowing tide I go to but for some reason the food at this one stands out every time.

Service was awesome, food not so good. We really had a great server, but meal was like a frozen dinner. Will always give The Tide the benefit of the doubt.

It was a busy Friday night there were waiting lists everywhere so my girlfriend and I decided to pop into Flowing Tide Pub. We ended up having an incredible time!

Recommended as a good fish place. I was not let down. The fish was beer battered and was very tasty. The chips were fried with a slight batter and were also good. The coleslaw was good.Service was good but not as attentive for refills. It is a clean restaurant and bar with a number of large model sailing ships to see as decorations.Pricing is fair.

Good food, large portions, huge menu and reasonable prices. Close to where we live and happy hour is a deal. A sports bar with lots of screens to catch a game. Will definitely be back.

Probably the worst cooks...ordered salmon with veg and mash potatoes. It was brought out with soup of butter and cold veg and mash...returned it back to remove the soup and returned with even colder sides. I ate it only because I dont waste food. The waitress was great and tried to make it better but I didnt trust the cooks at that point. The worst!!! Wish I took a picture

Great tasting pub food was a pleasant surprise. Fantastic service. Huge portions and a great cost.

Everyone was great except Nicole she had an attitude the whole time. Almost assaulted one of us in the bathroom. If she doesn’t want to work she can always quit or maybe you should let her go because she is the worst part of this establishment and experience

The 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup lunch special is a best kept secret among some of us locals. FT has the best Toscano Soup and Clam Chowder in Reno.

Great place for an easy lunch or dinner outing. Nice staff, good food and reasonable prices with ample menu options.

Great staff, food was good and actually looked like the menu. Large beer list, good alcohol selection. Can be super busy and a lot of fun. Masks only required for people who have not been fully vaccinated.

WOW!!!!!! now that is a bar with a little bit of everything including some very pleasant staff...the food and drink are awesome and I only wish I had more time to spend there.....I will absolutely be returning ......a great atmosphere and not a dive bar at all....I highly recommend and Im a Clamper so I know my bars

For the last few days we’ve been trying to get a reservation for 2. We called hours ahead and they said call 15 mins ahead of time instead. So we did closer to the time we wanted, phone was off the hook and we could not reach anybody. Tried again to call for reservation, but they said the same thing, and so again we tried to call closer to the time, but the wait time was over 2 hours. Don’t care if the food is the best, judging by this, service and management sucks. If you require reservations, THEN TAKE THE DAMN RESERVATION WHEN WE CALLED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. So sad to see a place that is run like this. TERRIBLE

Great little hole in the wall sports pub, lots of tvs, good service, good food.If youre looking for a place to meet up friends for game day this is it! I didnt have breakfast but it seems like thats their thing.Only downside is sitting was a bit awkward, lots of 2 person booths, odd for a place like this.

I ordered a tide burger with just meat, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Pretty plain and simple burger. Well done with a side of onion rings. When I picked up my order and got home, the onion rings looked fine and tasted fine. I had heard their onion rings were great, but thats not the case as theres other places with much tastier onion rings. The burger was placed on top of a pickle, so when I picked it up, the bottom bun was soggy from the meat and pickle juices. The burger itself didnt have a whole lot of flavor and it was not well done. It was medium. I also ordered a large fountain drink for $3, which isnt a terrible price for a restaurant, but the cup was filled with 3/4 of ice, so its as if youre just having a cold can of soda from those 12pk grocery store sodas. The place inside looked nice, and the workers were kind and fast with service. Im just disappointed with the food. Maybe if I were to try another item on the menu, my opinion of this place would change, but for now I would not go back.

I probably spend way too much time in the place... But it is one of those kind of haunts its nice to loose track of time. Service has always been friendly food is a bit hit and miss but im really going for a beer and an appetizer not a Michelin star meal. The crowds have been friendly and inviting too, I have made a few bar top friends. I like spending time here, besides "time getting wasted is never wasted" and this is a good place to do that. Great dinner with the family tonight. Service was attentive and friendly. I had the salmon which was a bit over cooked and dry, but still very good. My daughter had the steak kabobs which were fantastic!

Great service! The waitress and other waiters were so attentive and bringing our food in and out. They really made the night super fun for us by recommending specialty drinks and desserts after we finished our meal. Great time!

This used to be one of my favorite haunts when I lived on the south side of town. While the staff is very friendly, and drinks are poured well, the food has really gone downhill. Great place for adult beverages. Food, not so much. The service is very good though. Ive never had bad service at this location.

First time here. We went with a large group of women for an ornament exchange. Staff were overwhelmed but did a great job of getting everyone their food and drinks. Separate checks not a problem. Will definitely come back again. My chicken Tacos were delicious.

Good prices and descent bar food for happy hours but avoid at other times or it gets pricey. Slots and pool tables usually packed as is the place during happy hours. Try to get there a little ahead of time if you want a booth for a couple or a table. Otherwise just go to drink and have fun.

Met a friend here for lunch on Friday afternoon. We arrived and sat down about noon, our waitress took our order and brought our drinks soon after. I remember looking at my watch and thinking 25 minutes and we still do not have any food. I had my back to the rest of the restaurant, so I am not sure how busy they were, and I do not fault our server.When the food arrived is was well prepared and had generous portions.While I enjoy the food and the service of our servers at each of the locations I do go to, I was disappointed that during a lunch hour, it took so long to get the food to the table. I very seldom spend my entire lunch hour in the place that I eat, but this was the case this day.

The food was delicious. The restaurant and restroom were both very clean. The staff was friendly. We had chili and it was great! I was in the Navy so I loved all the boats.

Very decent little neighborhood bar / lounge. The tuna salad is always delicious as is the tasty mac / cheese, although it is hit & miss as to the actual serving size. The wait staff hustles and does their best with the busy crowd. Our favorite server is definitely Lindsay.

Love going during happy hour. I get there appetizers to share between three people and everything is super affordable. Staff are nice too, you can either hang with others or sit at the side booths and catch up with friends. Staff is awesome and theres plenty of parking. I love the chicken wings and the chicken tacos. They have a wide selection of food and drinks. Must go place late in the wee hours. Thats whats nice about this town though. Lots of food options for those who do not eat at normal hours, whatever that is.
