It is not a real museum but a shop

Very beautiful art and unique but the staff was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and barely said a word. They stood in a circle and didnt smile or say anything about the artwork . My husband and I thought it be fun to look at a art gallery for our anniversary and the staff didnt even say hello. Maybe business would pick up if they had friendlier and happier staff. The artwork is gorgeous but their personalities suck .

Nice place to buy crafts and jewelry from local artists. Found unique earrings and one pair are made from recycled pallets. Volunteers were very friendly and suggested non-touristy places to go. Recommend visiting.

Come look! Its free free fiii!It is a hybrid of gallery and gift shop. All the artists are local.The gallery is themed/curated. The current showing is Answered if Fiber. Im not usually into fabric art but there was definitely a few pieces that grabbe my attention. A few had thought provoking messages.The shop is full of art for sale. There is everything from ceramics, art, prints and useful art items. Shirts, pillows, stickers, jewelry really something for everyone. There is even a kids art activities for purchase.They do participate in Saturday Art Wall, they just stay open later. Plenty to see and updates. Come if you are visiting, come back again if youre a local.

Beautiful craftsmanship throughout! Didnt take pictures inside because I wasnt sure if it was allowed to photograph artist works. Many galleries frown upon it.

They had a variety of glass and Pottery as well as various other crafts. The also allowed our well behaved dog in. We found a beautiful piece of glass that we bought.

Interesting and unique crafts from artists all over Florida. Well displayed in a gallery manner. Only detractor is the unfriendly staff. I understand that businesses need to limit restroom use in an area of high homeless population but the rude and condescending manner in which we were told we could go use the public restrooms in the park made it impossible to us to complete our purchase or to support their business.

Great place where Florida artisians share their art work from all over the state. Prices for their work is on the high side, but we like to support our artist. A must stop to see local Florida works. But remember there are so many lical places that do art a little less costly since they dont have to pay a commission.

Walked in to buy some wall art. They require masks. They lost my me and 2 ladies who turned and walked out. Well spend our money elsewhere.

Really great gallery with a ton of unique craft pieces. Make sure you check out the upstairs as well; lots of interesting piecesnfor sale and you can meet all of the artists working on their next project.

Not friendly staff, for some pretty outrageously priced “”craft items””. That are not very crafty…. This should be called gallery , they do do have some nice stuff but it is all treated like a gallery and have gallery prices.Response Update: Nothing wrong with this place , but should definitely have Gallery in the name to set the expectations. Just as a executive director has in response below.

I visit often and there always new things to see, especially in the gallery space. A great range of items for sale from small, affordable gifts to larger and more expensive artworks.

There are so many talented artists in the area and this is a great location to show off their work. Very enjoyable.

This is a lovely gallery to visit while touring St. Petersburg. Some very unusual pieces were presented, and we got to vote for the Peoples Choice Awards. I highly recommend stopping by.

Visit here every time I come to St Pete. Love local art, its the best. So much creative skill, talent and time goes into each piece. I like purchasing an original, one of a kind piece. Great artwork and very kind and friendly staff running the place. Always love visiting here.

Its a non profit organization to support local artists. There is a gift shops also exhibit area displays art work. They have good local events and recently they hosted the Tibetan Monks. What a treat.

Free admission. Pet friendly art environment. Friendly staff, wonderful and whimsical art pieces. They offered treats to my dog and had water handy. They also had free book and magazines for the budding artist and enthusiast. Would visit again.

Very unique pieces, some a bit... too unique for my tastes. If you like cats and dogs, then this place is themed for you. I bought some adorable local art pieces here.

We went with a group to do the mural walk. Our guide was James Eric Hertzel. He is a local artist. He was great as a guide. He was knowledgeable in the artists, their subjects, and their techniques and media. This us a fun, enjoyable tour... reasonably easy walk... take hat and water on hot days.The craftart store was also terrific.

One of my favorite places to find perfect one of a kind gifts, and I always end up buying something for myself too! I love the wide selection of quality hand crafted goods and the jewelry counters make me swoon. This place is always on my list of things to do with family or friends from out of town.

Talented artists from the area and there is always something for everyone here! This past December I bought a little stuffed animal ornament, adorable. Pricing is good too, especially for handmade art/items!

We really enjoyed this downtown shop with its wide range of creative art forms. We found several blown glass pieces that were beautiful and reasonable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

A lot of local artists have items on display. Really some neat items. There was a jewelry exhibit just set up in 1 room. I felt this could have been displayed much better. This really could afford artists much more attention. There are a lot of talented artists in the area. I always try to buy from local artisans.

Fantastic. Best shop for unique gifts at any price point. In downtown St. Pete. Wide variety of beautiful handcrafted wares from local artisans.including jewel, pottery, wall art etc. Made my Christmas shopping a breeze. No more Target or malls for me.

Artwork from many local artists. The prices are crazy expensive, but some items might be worth it. Eye of the beholder.I would not bring small children here, way too many breakables.Lots of interesting pieces, some are amazing, others are questionable as to why they are here. Overall I enjoyed looking around. I did purchase a small item, but it wasnt crazy priced.

This place is very cool. Artist from upstairs sell their art downstairs in the Craft art store at 5th Street and Central Avenue. You can visit the artist upstairs which is amazing. The staff is very friendly and they are always getting new art and displays. Very cool place

Extremely cool. For starters, it smells really good. There’s an awesome variety of craft art and it’s all really wonderfully done. We really enjoyed visiting. The staff (Brittanythat we spoke with was also really cool. So we’ll definitely be back!

From jewelry to décor to fine art, there is a wide selection of artwork and craft items here, for any budget. Everything is well-displayed, but dont expect to make this a quick trip. Take plenty of time to explore.

The creations of dozens and dozens of local artists can be found here. I’m not sure how they choose who to feature or how long they keep their work, but as a consumer this is a great place to find ‘local and personal’ gifts. Of course, that means the selections will vary slightly every time you walk in. That game board purse probably won’t be available next time. Naturally there’s a lot of figurines, jewelry, and sculptures. Prices have always been reasonable—actually very close to buying a similar, generic product from a home décor store—which means you get great deals. Did you know the second floor of this ‘art store’ is filled with studios for local artists to create, display, and sell their creations?
