Fabulous time on floating grace, birthday party with family, fabulous time, cant wait to come back again thanks for the lovely experience, nice crew and people we met on board, a great day had by all.
Booked for Sunday roast for me and my mum and we would highly recommend. Food was lovely (I had the nut roast and it was much nicer than most carveries). All the staff were brilliant and super professional. Commentary from the captain was both entertaining and funny... You dont need to be a history buff to enjoy this tour. Really good atmosphere on board and would recommend to both tourists and locals like us.
Attended a wedding on the floating grace food was excellent staff were very professional and run a tight ship (so to speakcouldnt highly recommend the floating grace for a meal aboard excellent well done guys
What a fantastic time we had on floating grace. The staff was so welcoming and I couldnt have been in a more happier place with singing and the dancing also the afternoon cream tea the atmosphere and scenery was amazing and it was well worth the money.I would just like to say Thank you to Peter and his fantastic crew who treated us with kindness and grace.Yes collette will still be rolling on that river until next year love you all God bless x
Really enjoyed the evening with an informative trip around the dock with lovely food
Avoid at all costs, proper rip off.The business model for this experience is set up to rip off unsuspecting visitors to the city and gullible locals. We paid nearly £75 for two people for an Aldi roast dinner. The minted lamb shanks are 2 frozen boil in the bag for £6 in Aldi. Couple of frozen carrots and broccoli and some spuds. The wine choices are castillero del diablo. Tesco stocked wine for £7 and they charge £20 on here. (I know you pay more for wine when eating out but at least dont serve marked up supermarket stock). If you challenge the prices, the owner comes on moaning about how much rent he has to pay for the spot. Im sorry but if your in a premium location, you should be serving a premium dinner, not budget supermarket. He will then threaten you with the police if you dont want to pay for the Tesco wine and the boat hands will push you off the boat and square up with you nose to nose before being dragged away by the owner and another staff member. This was book as a birthday treat, for something different haha
We had a great time on boat meal was nice and staff we deff going back Dec and will have a meal again
Afternoon tea 🍵 and a tour with a talk about the history of the docks.Well worth a trip.
Great place for lunch. Very authentic and moderate prices.
Terrible experience went for my birthday family of 6 for afternoon tea. I had ordered the vegan tea to be told they hadnt received confirmation of my order so I sat for the whole cruise with nothing. Everyone felt uncomfortable eating theirs. Didnt even get ofered a complimentary drink as an apology. Emailed the company but never bothered to reply
Excellent historical cruise down the docks of Liverpool on our honeymoon. Peter was lovely. Thank you all for a lovely memory of Liverpool! 😊
We had a great afternoon tea, the sandwiches were so fresh, the staff were attentive and the skipper was entertaining. The tour commentary was informative, a delightful afternoon on the Floating Grace. Excellent value for money .
Loved it! Fab and professional tour. Lovely food and staff. The scones were tasty and the rest of the group were fun too. Ended up having a sing and a dance at the end which was a laugh. Definitely going again!
Amazing cruise with lunch and a bit of entertainment. Great atmosphere with friendly staff on board. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent, crew were very helpful and friendly, afternoon tea was lovely, tour around Albert Dock very interesting, overall experience I would recommend.
We had Afterwards Tea for 3 people. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were fresh and moist with a great selection. Just about the right amount and decent mugs of tea. Nice commentary about the Albert dock and smooth trip. Highly recommended.
A little bit conflicted here as there were a few little niggles but it was a hot day so hard to say what impact that hadThe score takes into account that this is both a meal and tour. But really you need to think of it primarily as a boat tour and secondarily a meal, and taking that into account I thought it was good value when you look at the price as a whole. The main was ok, and the dessert v nice. The veggie option wasn’t v good.Once we were boarded I thought the service was v prompt and drinks service was efficient.I’ve lived in Liverpool for 23 yrs and am v familiar with the docks and the area but I thought this was a nice a way to see them from the water. For this alone I think the trip is worthwhile. On the whole it was a pleasant experience
I don’t really understand all these 5 star reviews. Food is mediocre albeit edible and service is slow - we were on the boat 20 minutes late and then waiting around for drinks. The boat cruise itself was decent and nice to see the docks from a different angle and pricing was ok. I suspect this trip is for the older generation. It does, in my view need modernising a bit to make it appealing to a wider audience. Felt a bit stuck in a time warp.
Met up with close friends. What a brilliant afternoon it was too! Our Captain and his crew were wonderful and kept us thoroughly entertained. Will definitely return for another visit!
Brought 3 of my Grandchildren for afternoon teaage 7 and Two 5 year oldsThey loved itMy Granddaughter didn’t like ham SandwichesNot a problem for the staff theyMade fresh Chicken sandwiches for her insteadLovely day outGreat staffHighly recommendBooking for the Sunday lunch next visit
We had an amazing time last night on the floating grace. We Dined We Danced, such a laugh too with the funny lovely Stan Boardman and the fab talented Paul McCoy. Made more special with the lovely crew and fab people we met.Thank you 😊 we cant wait to come back. Xx
Had a lovely evening however the food was a little basic. We really enjoyed the experience with beautiful views and great atmosphere.Staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings.
A fantastic end to our few days in Liverpool. The food (3 courseswas plentiful and piping hot. There was a good range of alcoholic and non-alcolic drinks available at reasonable prices. There was a commentary of the history of Liverpool and Albert Docks. The Captain and Crew were great fun. Overall a great experience- would recommend.
10 of us had a lovely afternoon tea today! We did set off later than planned but really that wasnt a problem at all! Very informative tour, beautiful day, and a really nice afternoon tea which was excellent value for money. Hope to be back for perhaps an evening meal or Sunday lunch.
Booked a place on the Floating Grace for Sunday Lunch whilst having a weekend away in Liverpool. It was £25 for a 2 course meal and a 2 hour tour sailing around the Albert Dock. There was some very interesting history told to us via recorded narration. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The meal was excellent in my opinion and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were served at our table throughout the tour at reasonable prices. There is also an evening sail where the boat is lit up with fairy lights and evening meal is served at £35. A nice relaxing 2 hour tour away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool City.
Went on floating grace yesterday 3/7/22 what a fabulous experience, a super way to spend a couple of hrs. It was well organized, Food was excellent, staff well trained, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this. Will definitely go again....
If you need to de-stress then book a trip with Pete and his crew aboard the Floating Grace in Liverpool. How Pete remembers all the facts about Liverpool only he knows.then theres the laughter and humour and not forgetting the great food. Thanks Pete and all your crew for making a very enjoyable afternoon for our group of 15 people.harry and June
We had a great time. The food was good, the staff were attentive and Peter told us all kinds of interesting things about Liverpools docks and their history.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch today with my friend on the floating grace! A great 2 hours sailing around the Docks, lots of facts about the docks from the Captain!! And a sing song at the end!!Well worth booking 👍
This is the second year we have had Sunday roast on Floating Grace. Brilliant food and wonderful staff. Leisurely trip round the docks whilst eating and drinking. Thoroughly recommended it.
I booked for my partners birthday dinner and was really great experience! Staff was really nice, food tasty, good drink prices. Amazing experience with a bit of history of Liverpool. Would definitely come back again.
Great day out .had afternoon tea. Staff where friendly and very helpful with a great knowledge of the area which the spoke about as you went in each Dock.. would recommend this for a nice couple of hours of relaxing experience..
Had another great time on the floating grace, crew were great as always and the captain was his usual hilarious self always gets the customers in stitches cant wait to go back on the 24th June 2022, would highly recommend the floating grace if you want to have s great 2 hour cruise around the Albert docks with a lovely meal theres also a bar. Give it a go you wont be disappointed.
1 June 2022 .Great mini cruise around liverpool docks. Would highly recommend the evening meal. The staff were very friendly.
We had a lovely afternoon. The staff were a lot of fun. Not the best afternoon tea Ive had but the whole experience was great. Highly recommend 🤩🤩🤩
A brilliantly choreographed and narrated, historical trip around the Liverpool Docks whilst having Dinner, a great ambience was created by all on board, the crew were very helpful, the food was really well cooked and arrived at tables piping hot and tasty. A good choice of wines, spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee are available from the bar.... A fabulous trip that I will recommend as a great end to a wonderful day.
Booked this for my parents anniversary last week, they cancelled the meal via email 24 hours before they were due to go aboard my parents stifled to find somewhere else to enjoy there anniversary with such short notice. I emailed them straight back for a refund to no response. They take your money and would take 50% from you if you cancel your reservation 4 weeks prior but nothing if they cancel on you the day before. Disgusting policy and terrible customer communication!
Absolutely amazing experience amazing crew would do it again 200% such a good afternoon ,lovely food
Me and my fiancé came down to Liverpool for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. I booked for an evening meal as a surprise date night.A few things need clarified, such as we only received 2 courses not 3, however when selecting our options we only had the option of 2 courses. We also didnt get our complimentary glass of fizz. I think their advert needs amending just for some clarity. However, this doesnt take away from the experience and value for money. We arrived back around 9:15pm after touring the docks for over an hour. The captain gave us some history of Liverpool, then let the music play for the rest of the trip. The food was lovely and the drinks are at a good cost! It was a romantic setting and something quite different to do. Overall really recommend this trip!
Felt comfy and welcome ....food was delicious and the views are spectacular from a boats eye view of Liverpool .....and our captain kept us informed and entertained
Myself and my son had Sunday lunch on the floating Grace, the food was delicious, glass of champagne a, treat and the staff where fabulous, from the captain who gave us a commentary of the history of the docks which was very interesting and informative and full. Of laughs. An at the end we all had a dance and a sing along. Fabulous relaxed atmosphere an nothing was to much trouble. I was so impressed I booked the evening dinner cruise with entertainment from non other than Liverpools own famous comedian Stan Bordman complete with a band so looking forward to the nights entertainment. Thank you to all the staff. I recommend you try this boat trip you wont be disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic experience on the Floating Grace. Would highly recommend for something different to do when in Liverpool. We were a party of 8, maximum number of people who can sit together is 6 but that didnt stop us having a great time.Staff were brilliant, knowledgeable and attentive. 3 course meal in the evening was great. Prosecco £19 per bottle and beers £3.
Absolute must do in Liverpool.Great value for money, £25 for Sunday roast, dessert and complimentary drink. Great commentary and visit of the Dock. Can be a bit loud if there are groups and music playing but a really fun moment overall.
Fantastic experience on the floating grace fabulous staff excellent meal highly recommended.
Amazing had a fabulous time.. Went in the evening for a 3 course meal and a historical talk about the docks as we had a cruise around..
Husband booked this to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We loved it. Commentary was very informative with some humour. 3 course meal was well presented and tasty. Bar prices roughly similar to pub prices. There was a stag do on there at same time and everyone partied together. Fabulous night. We did expect the complimentary glass of fizz on boarding but had to ask a couple of times before receiving it at the end of our meal.
Great trip around the Historical Docks of Liverpool with a guide with great knowledge. The afternoon tea was fresh and had a wide selection, well worth the money and a must do whether you are from the area or not
