Alex is the best waiter I have ever had. He made sure our dining experience was top notch. I will be back just to see him. The food was good. Alex made sure we were informed about every little thing and made great recommendations.

I had dinner with my wife there , and it was definitely a 8 out of 10, the food was amazing. Its a part of Jefferson point, so we did some shopping after we had dinner. I highly recommend Flat top Grill., it was definitely a good experience. 👍 only problem I had was their prices were a little higher than some.

Decent place. Could use more cleaning around the food.

Lots of changes since last time we visited. Restaurant is beat up like a night club and not enough staff to keep things clean.Good place to hang out, dont go if youre in a hurry.

Me and my fiance decided to to here tonight. We have been here many times before for never had to wait long for anything. Food is always great! I would give it 5 stars, but our server was horrible this time. I waited 30 mins just to get my drink refilled. Then we waited another 30 mins just to get 2 pieces off pie to go. When he seen that we were still sitting there waiting its like he forgot about us!

Great staff, very friendly and prompt, good food. Once you know what your likes and dislikes are you can choose the correct combination of ingredients for the best dining experience..multiple visits helps.

Showed up for dinner at 630 to be told there would be no rice for 40 minutes. Made my own bowl and chose chicken and scallops. Was told there was no scallops.

I hadnt been to FlatTop Grill in years. Its not how I remember it. So many things have changed. For $15.99, you get one trip to the "buffet" and you get a lot of various veggies, sauces, and rice/noodles choices, but they serve up the proteins and they seemed lacking, in my opinion. The food was still good, dont get me wrong, but the fact they served up the chicken and beef and I got maybe 2 or 3 ounces total, was disappointing.

Dined in at Flattop Grill the other day and LOVED my meal. I did a create my own stir fry which is really unique and it was delicious. There were so many fresh options to add to my bowl. My server, Alex M, was outstanding and went above and beyond. He was super personable and made the experience great. He recommended a tasty sauce concoction he came up with himself and was very attentive on our table for refills. I’d highly recommend this restaurant and to ask for Alex as your server!

Scottie was excellent! He was very attentive and extremely welcoming. Had a great experience!

cancelled my doordash order for absolutely no reason? i’m starving and they waited 20+ minutes after i placed my order to then cancel it and say the store “could not fulfill” my order. not eating here again till i feel better cuz now i am sad AND starving.

It was okay-ish. The atmosphere was not as cool or fresh as it used to be. The wait for our food was a while, and the food was so-so. I think the quality probably depends on what you order. My ramen noodles came super clumpy and overcooked. Kitchen staff were not professional (overheard badmouthing another employee). Our server was super friendly though! All in all would not go again

First of all, great service. Unfortunately, the restaurant was incredibly filthy. My feet stuck to the floor. There were holes in the wall, the food bar was a complete mess, and the bathroom stall was broken. It concerns me of the cleanliness of the parts I can’t see. Will not be returning, too bad.

My hellfire shrimp smelled disgusting and my rice was undercooked ,disappointed im asian and rice is the easiest thing to cook:( dumplings weren’t fresh either! And they charged us $9 for hard dumplings Wont be coming back

Extremely disappointed. The steak appetizer was over cooked. Both our meals had a flavor that was overwhelming and not pleasant. The food took forever to arrive. I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at a truck stop. A proper cleaning and a little paint would go a long way in this place. Won’t be back.

A complete waste of money. Potatoes were raw noodles and meat burned. Carrots I didnt ask for and Im allergic to. Ill go to Panda Express before Flat Top.

The area in the back we sat in was dirty, along with gnats flying around our food constantly. Food was okay though. Didn’t use to be this bad. Won’t be coming back.

My son and Is favorite place. Waiters and waitresses are always friendly and kind. Live the food. Get alot for the money with the bowls. Son says best lemonade too!

Food was great and our server, Matt was the best server we ever had! He was attentive but not overly so and he was so smooth when clearing things from our table that is wasnt disruptive at all. Friendly and happy. Best server ever.

Always good food! Our waitress Rachel was amazing and I loved how she was on top of everything and made sure we had a good time!

Dumplings for appetizer, drunken noodles and hellfire shrimp….all tasted like it had come from Wal mart freezer section… not blaming the cook !!! Drinks we delicious! First snd last visit.

I brought somebody new here today and this is their new favorite restaurant. I was not disappointed either. The food is always top notch. Honestly though, the great experience was from our waitress. She was AMAZING. She explained everything greatly to the newbie. Took our order so swiftly. Made sure my starving sons food came out first. She said just let her know if he needs anything else cuz she was not going to let that boy leave hunger. 😍 Deconstructed a root beer float for us so we could give him just ice cream. It was just really nice to be waited by someone who just got it and was genuine.

Hadnt been in a while so we thought wed check it out. Lunch is a couple bucks more than it used to be and they nickel and dime you for bread/cheese/egg now. So meal ends up being like 3.50 more. Restaurant itself is more grungy than it used to be. Food itself is still pretty good but not worth 13.50 at lunch for one bowl if you get egg/bread/cheese. Waitress was nice and on top of it though

I love this place! Its delicious 😋 you have the option of building your own bowl or ordering one off the menu!! Huge selection of items/sauces!! Reasonably priced. Fun family atmosphere. They have a bar with lots of options! I dont drink so cant comment on those... its a cool place to eat! If you choose to build your bowl.... The waiter, waitress brings you a stick that you write your name on and you choose your meat options from beef, chicken, sausage, shrimp, salmon cant remember all of them? You choose your rice, I go with Cauliflower rice. 😊 then you take your bowl to the food bar where you load it up with as much veggies as you can and they have everything you can think of!! Then its on to the sauces!!! So many to choose from!!! You want a lot of sauce because thats what your food is coated in!!! You then hand off your bowl to the cook who then adds your meat you chose and it all gets thrown together and delivered back to you at your table!!! Its awesome!! Definitely recommend this place!!!

This used to be a regular eating place for me, but this time was horrible! The service was slow in the drinks department. 15 minutes for anything coming from the bar. They have taken away a few of my favorite things, which includes, the broth option and the thin noodles. The bread was not cooked all the way. Im fact, it was still doughy. Just horrible all the way around. It used to be one of my favorite places, but I doubt if I ever go back. And!! It made me sick on top of it all!

Do not get the ramen. I had a whole 3 noodles in my ramen. And the meat was raw.

First time I have been here in quite some time. I remember the food being good back then and it is still great. The grab your own ingredients buffet style is very unique. Our waitress was very kind and fun, her service was top notch. We did not wait to sit down, and our service was fast. Food is not terribly pricey for the quality. Would recommend.

We stopped to eat at the Jefferson Pointe location on 05/21/22 for lunch. We had not been at any Flat Top Grill during Covid. We were surprised how much the menu had changed from years past. The prices were higher, but what isnt?! I did notice that it seemed the portions were smaller, but still was sufficient for a good meal for us. What we were really disappointed about was that they did not have any Roti Bread. The manager said that their supplier was having issues. He didnt know when they were going to get any in. I heard him tell "numerous" customers the same story he told us. He also said how much money it was costing them for not having the Roti Bread. I thought that maybe since the price of the lunch had the Roti Bread included on the menu, it would be subtracted once we received our bill. Well it wasnt. We had a really nice waitress and I didnt want to say anything to her, so we left without saying anymore. I would have really thought for customer satisfaction that they would have made an ongoing exception to ANY customer that was shorted one of the favorite items included with the Flat Top Bowl.

Excellent experience with my youngest daughter Zoie. Zo naturally said she didnt want appetizers but I was starving so dad won this one. Instead of a long discussion we put out trust in our server Kaia who asked a few questions and put in our trio appetizer order. Awesome potstickers and 2 different quesadillas! Not upset at all. After mounding our bowls and stuffing ourselves we were ready for shopping and naps. Many Thanks!

Ive been going here for over 10 years and have always loved it. The buffet style of creating your own bowl and watching it come back grilled was neat. The sangria was great, their prickly pear flavoring is the best. They even added a whole new menu that is conventional (non-buffetwhich was a really cool addition to the restaurant that makes me want to keep going back.

Our experience here was amazing!! We always enjoy to food but we come back for the service! Managers are always friendly and our girl Rachel is our sniznit!!! 5 stars☺

Flattop use to be a crowd favorite with my crew but we went their at the request of the birthday girl on January 11th, 2022 and prices have gone up and now they are even charging for extra bread. Theres even an upcharge for cheese and egg. Then in the middle of our birthday celebration my waiter came back to ask us what we put in our bowls because he didnt write it down before hand and he needed to know so they could charge us. As if that wasnt annoying enough, I made a bowl with the new sauce it was just too spicy for my taste. So when I asked for a new bowl I was told I couldnt have one until my first bowl was empty! I was legitimately dumbfounded! Here I am, a paying adult, and I was was being treated like a child! Never again!

Great dinner idea. You have to wear gloves to make your bowl, but its a fair trade.◇Update◇Went in April 22 our waiter basically ignored us. Our food took forever to be brought to us. Then the shrimp was forgotten and served raw...in which we were still charged the 8 or 9 bucks for the shrimp. I was NOT impressed.

Our waitresses was nice and attentive. The food took some time to get to us..but they had a new cook. He did great on our food. Everything was cook just right and delicious. We both said we didnt mind waiting if the food always tastes like that.

A family favorite that has changed a lot over the past few tears to make it much less appealing. First was not being able to put the meat on you bowl yourself. Now charging for eggs and cheese and extra roti bread add a large amount. Kids drink refills $.99. All these little cost add-ones mean a meal that was very filling m, fun and affordable has lost all three. We also got our kids meal immediately delivered while waiting over 30 minutes for the bowls. Several of our bowls were burnt. We will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Tried this place out today. We like the Mongolian Grill so thought we would like this place. Didnt like that you order your meat before you put youre bowl together then server brings us our bowls with a pen in the bowl who knows how many people have touched this pen. Went to fill bowls and it isnt clear where to put the bowl but did figure out its on the filthy counter. Then I noticed something floating in my drink. Tried to tell myself I probably dropped something in it while eating. With a closer look at the cup there was a clearly visible mouth print on the rim of the cup. He had definitely brought me a dirty cup. At this point I felt sick to my stomach and will never come to this place again.

The food is normally good however the prices are rising but your options are shrinking. They are now charging for items that used to be free add-ons. The service now is also starting to take a hit and there seems to be less emphasis on customer service. On our last visit the cook would let all the bowls pile up and then would put them all at once. They would all just sit on the grill until bowls started piling up. Our food sat on the grill long enough that most of it was burnt. It is a real shame because this used to be one of our favorite places to go with friends in the area. I however will not continue to go if the prices keep going up while the service and food quality continue to decline.

We were first timers today. The staff was incredibly helpful and showed us the ways of FTG! Go hungry, thats for sure! Everything was excellent!!OH- and ask for Alex!! My drink never sat empty and he was very attentive! He exceeded all our expectations!

It is as good as you make it!! Taste test the sauces and the rice is at the very beginning of the bar/buffet!!

First time going .. and now its gonna become a habit . I love the food . The stir fry is awesome. Well done .

First time eating here. Was confused at first. Online had a menu. Got there different story. But at the end got delicious bowl food. Service was good. All we dealt with was friendly. Not filling for average guy. Good for lunch.

We live out of town but go out of our way to eat here as it is a favorite. Today however the food was not very good. I ordered beef as my protein and when the waitress brought us our food the beef was so tough and almost inedible. If that wasnt bad enough I went to the bathroom and I was totally grossed out not only by the cleanliness but the smell... NOT sure if I will return anytime soon!

Its ok. The food was cooked well. Prices for stuff was ok I guess, but no more unlimited trips - so keep that in mind (unless you pay 4 bucks). If i had known, I would have added more. The bowls are small. Service was OK. Place wasnt the cleanest. The veggie options were good and the add ons to your food are good. The place is just missing something, I cant put my finger on it. The bathroom smelled icky BTW. Overall i just dont like the place.

I always love Flat Top. This was my first time at this location and, while it was okay, it was somewhat disappointing. The wait staff was inattentive, and it was difficult to get things such as drink refills. Additionally, they were out of items and it was difficult to get staff to refill them. Aside from that, the food was decent and I would give this location one more try.
