Bad attitude towards tourists

Lovely restaurant in the center of Debrecen serving traditional Hungarian food with a bit of a local twist to it.Its located in a keller which gives it a nice vibe. While the staff had problems with English (and, I assume other languages apart from Hungarianthe menu has everything translated to English so its very easy to bypass the language barrier and order your meal. Service was tops, quite fast even though they seemed to have many take away orders at the same time. Place seems to be very popular with locals so you might want to make a reservation for the evenings or for bigger groups.The food is excellent, Ive had many Hungarian dishes in different places and the taste of the bean soup still surprised me. Good beer on tap as well as a diversified drinks selection.

Good food with HUGE portion size. A bit too salty for my taste but i suppose thats just Hungarian cuisine in general.

Went around 21:30 in a Friday evening, no other guests beside us. The interior has a simple, traditional feel. The menu consists of Hungarian dishes in a wide selection. Meat lovers will find their taste here but dont expect vegan options. The food is decent and the prices are very good in comparison. Service was OK.

Great value for Hungarian traditional food.Portion was huge. I mean it, please go hungry...I ordered pork sirloin which was very week cook.Friend onion was truly crispy. Toilet was super clean but only downside was basement so it was a bit damp.

Loved it! Very good hungarian food in nice atmosphere. We loved the veal paprikas and pork fried in potato dough! The prices were friendly as well.

Went in a group of 5 and we ended up ordering a pretty diverse menu: gulas (beef), beef stew + potatoes, chicken + pasta and fish +chips (pics below).The food was sensational!! No complaints. Cooked to perfection, the food was warm and fresh and the beer was cold!!Service was prompt, they speak english and treat you with respect. Explain the menu and specials with ease. They are willing to modify anything on the menu.Bathrooms were sparkling clean with fresh soap and toilet paper10/10 would visit again

We went to this restaurant based on other guests opinions. The food was really excellent and reasonably priced. Great goulash soup and perfect beef tenderloin. I took away 3 stars because of the service. 25 minutes before closing (and before we asked for the billthey refused to serve us a vodka shot, because the manager already closed the bar. They also completely ignored our complain about this.

Traditional Hungarian resturant with authentic interior.The beef meal had weird seasoning and did not taste good. The other meals are good. The portion and price ratio is great.

None of us complained about the food, everything was tasty but one dish seemed to be heated in microwave. Service is so-so, waiters were ok with us but rude between each other that everyone could hear in the restaurant. Hungarian style dishes only, dont expect to have a salad here.

Food is great, but the staff is not good on time management. They hit a very rude tone and make you waiting for minutes just because multiple people want to pay separately. This is not professional.

I like this restaurant because it is cozy, the staff is kind and polite and the serving are huge. Prices are also reasonable.

This place is supposed to serve traditional Hungarian food. Its ordinary food one could cook at home. Nothing fancy. Weve eaten much better in other places in Debrecen.

Flaska, is a very nice restaurant, to have a good and authentic Hungarian meal in central Debrecen, Hungary.I like the place, wich lately , has been renovated. To be honest, I liked more the previous interior, which seemed to be a popular and county style. Generally, it kept the style, but now there are less interior artifacts.It is located in a cellar, but this fact gives it even a stronger atmosfere.The food is excellent at medium prices in local notions. A 3 dishes meal have an average cost of about 20 U.S D. p.p .,so for a tourist it is a very reasonable price.

Great Authentic Hungarian dishes . Located in the center of Debrecen. Beatiful Atmosphere.

Simple but straight forward Hungarian restaurant. The garlic cream soup as well as the goose leg were delicious! The range of open red wines was limited, therefore I had to struggle with the "house" wine for a few zips. After warming up it became drinkable, though acidity was still going strong.

Best for couple dating. Lovely romantic restaurant with great traditional Hungarian foods. Definitely come back to enjoy the atmosphere in here

Restaurant was closed even it should be open more than hour before. There is some old paper about reconstruction which should end 13.8.

Great traditional Hungarian food selection, nice service. Not your place for a strict diet, but pretty good if you wanna enjoy something tasty and a bit heavy.

one of my favorite restaurants in Debrecen, every time I ordered traditional Hungarian soup and dish, enjoy every moment in here.

The atmosphere was great, so was the service, but the main dish was a disappointment. The meat was unsalted, the potatoes were undercooked, borderline raw.
