Flannery's Irish Geo Pub - Pub in Santiago, Chile
Great pub with outdoor sidewalk sitting. Food was great and the brew was cold. Decently priced too.
Eat on sidewalk, in front of building, or inside. Fun relaxed place. We had a nice Carmenere but everyone else drank beer. Most looked like they had just left the IT office and had backpacks. Everything from pizza to fish n chips. All good.
Drinks were good but service was a bit slow, even though it was not that crowded...
Flannerys is probably one of the few bars that after the pandemics still has a bar where you can sit on, have some pints of draft beer while watching football on TV and talk to the bartenders. Great Irish pub vibes with live music on Friday evenings and karaoke at night. Good selection of drinks and the burgers are much better than what youd expect for a bar. Location is also a plus, close to the metro station in a very safe part of Las Condes.
Favorite bar. The potato fries are absolutely amazing. Make sure to try the flannerys special or papas provençal, theyre both very good. The burgers are well above average compared to other bars, and so is most of the food. The craft beers are also very good, but the amber ale is a little watery. I recommend trying the tübinator and flannerys IPA
Great place. Several kinds of bears and drafts.
Is not easy to get a Guinness in Chile and here you can get one. Just in can but is better than nothing. It would be nice to have a more Irish Pub experience, for instance pay for you pint and go to the bar or your table.
Excellent pub good music and beers!!
Staff are immensely helpful and do speak English. Menu is via QR code app. Not too expensive for the district and good choice of beers and wine
Good beer, non alcohol alternatives and great dish presentation and taste. Speedy service as well.
There were a few problems with the food delivery, but it was a tasty, good amount for a fair price. The beers and drinks are very good too, I suggest to try the house drink.
We stopped late drinks and chatting. Staff was very attentive. We sat out front but they gave more to offer inside and out back. Did not eat anything there because of the time.
Came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night. Wanted to watch American Football. To my surprise, they were playing the game, so that was good. Ordered the "steak fries" as thats one thing this place is known for. Was not disappointed. Its a large plate of potato wedges covered in steak. Also ordered the burger with fries. That tasted good. But I ordered noqueso, but con queso.
Wide variety of beer to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very good service. They have food service, but I did not sample it.
Irish pub where you can get high quality beer , homemade drinks and food. Desserts are awesome. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Inconsistent sizing of portions. Fish fillets can be over 25ml thick or 5ml thick. Cost me NZ$72 for a cheeseburger and 2 fish and chips meals also 2 small cokes and a pint of beer.
Their BBQ burger is great. Nice atmosphere.
Nice place to drink, since they have a long variety of beers and coctails. Good place for a Happy Hour. Dont be confused about their menu. Even if they show they have multiple things you can ask (stews and commertial Irish food), thats no longer available when I went to drink and eat in the night, instead, they had a different menu from the one you see in the page (with fries and nachos, that also were good).I liked them but, not a solid 4 starts.
Great service, great beer and great food! They do need to work on their beer pouring skills.. specially when it comes to the Cream Stout... you always get such a massive head. Not good.
Nice place with good drinks and food. Simple and honest. Full in happy hours but still good service.
There is a seperate menu if you sit on the top floor. We wanted some cream stouts, had to go downstairs and bring them up (no biggiebut it seems like a real dumb mistake. Fire the manager.Cheers!
Great place to watch a game. Staff was bery friendly and food was great.
Nice place and good beer. PROBLEM: both beer and food takes too damn long! And sometimes they even forget it! 55min waiting for a beer is too long even for a good soul. Do not recomend because of the ridiculous waiting time that kills any mood.
The beer is great. The place can get crowded and seating can become an issue if you do not get there early.
Classic Santiago local which has withstood the test of time (and a move down the street). One of the few places which has been in Santiago longer than I have. Avoid on St. Patricks day (super busyand go on a sleepy Sunday to occasionally catch some Irish musicians improvising over strong stouts.
It was very nice. The waitress Anishka was very nice and sweer.Great beer and good food.Cheers!
Its an OK place if youre leaving your office and perhaps may want you wet your whistle. The draft beer options arent extensive at all, the appetizers are good tho. The staff is friendly and helpful... It a bit dark (which is goodand has a 2nd floor if you want to be unnoticed. A bit pricy if tou consider the overall experience.
Probably the top 5 best burgers I’ve had in my life. And the beer was also very good. Turbinator was a perfect pair with the Glazglow (spelling?burger. The red ale was good as well.
If you want to watch some football game this place is perfect!!! Nice food and good beer, what else you can wish? 😊
Keeps the ambience of the old Geo Pub, own brand beer is not bad. Ideal for a chilled night out with your mates
I heard good reviews of this place, so I decided to invite a friend that was visiting Chile. We both had a very bad experience, the fries were bad, we were asked to change tables because there was a group with a reservation and they wanted to add more tables, so the waitress said. Then the table was unstable and then we asked if we could move inside and they said no because it was all reserved. If it was all reserved, then why they didnt say so before, there should be someone accommodating the customers. If you dont like the smell of cigarettes do not seat at the back because it is very annoying. It was the first and last time we go there. Not worth it.
A seemingly popular Irish pub that is not so Irish. Service is ok and burgers were good too. Would hope the they had larger beer selection.
Amazing beer! Lovely atmosphere and great service! Definitely a place to visit, whether you are on your own or with friends.Wonderful place for a craft beer.
Average at best. Below average bar service for Chile and that is saying something.standing/sitting at the bar and wouldnt finish pouring the drinks until we had paid for them. Whats with that. Other flannerys venues have never had that issue.
Nice atmosphere and good service. Very quiet when we were there but still nice place to have some beer.
Excellent place, go before it gets taken down at the end of October 2017
Had a really great time, even though I was alone and dont speak Spanish very well. This was my third trip to Flannerys during my short trip to Santiago. I like the atmosphere and the ambiance. I like their house ipa and seasonal ale. The bartenders are very pleasant as well.
I liked this place. For some reason, everywhere we travel, we end up in an Irish pub for some reason. Probably better dining options in the area, but if you are looking for some familiarity, this may be the place.
Classic Irish pub owned by an Irishman. What they dont advertise is that they sell their own craft beer, all of which are very good if not excellent. The atmosphere here is very local, however, so for English speaking guests with limited fluency in Spanish do not expect great service from the staff. They are friendly but they do not speak English and they will not go out of their way to understand you. Its an interesting place, with a traditional dark hardwood bar on the first floor and an amazing rooftop terrace up top. It does get crazy crowded a weekend evenings, so if youre looking for a quiet spot this is not it. Highly recommend it if you want a taste of the local scene in this neighborhood.
Classic irish bar located in Santiago Las Condes district. They have a lovely rooftop terrace and multiple floors so its great for large groups although the rooftop bar area is relatively small compared to the space. They have tables with service that was slightly unreliable, so I would recommend just going to the bar directly.
Not the cheapest place in the city but so are other similar pubs in the area. Nice variety of drinks but food seemed a bit lacking. Overall nice to drink after work
Flannerys Irish bar for me is my favorite bar in town. It has 3 stories, the top one is an open terrace which is great during the summer. Check out the bands, sports games and karaoke. It has a wide beer menu, drinks and food menu. You can find people from different places in the globe and enjoy mingling up!.
Nice pub. Good beer and Irish Sessions every first and third Sunday of each month.
Good for an outdoor beer, even in the cold. Good to go with a group, or simply to think over a nice Chilean beer bottle!
Great environment and good selection of beer and food. Probably one of the best pubs in Santiago. The only low is the staff that not always seem to be happy to be working.
Great place. Been there many times during the last 15 years and the place has kept its original essence, great food, awesome beers and very affordable prices since the first days.
Me gusta Flannerys - great rooftop patio con friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I reccommend this pub for Estados Unidos travelers seeking a casa away from home.
Great place to hang out with Ausies and Americans in the mining business. The guy who got "mugged" must be joking or seriously unlucky. That area of Santiago couldnt possibly be safer. The beer selection is excellent for Santiago anyway. The food is typical pub fare. Not great, but not bad. Best happy hour around, but very crowded! Great service.
I found this to be the better of the two expat pubs that Ive visited in Santiago. The beer, food and music where great, although no Guinness on tap... The staff were attentive and quick to fulfill orders. Ill definitely return and bring friends too
We were mugged when sitting on the patio Tuesday night July 16th. The thieves pulled up in a car, came through the bushes, and attacked us. Tried to get a camera, only got away with a couple Pablo Neruda books in a bag. The staff didnt help, or show any concern at all, they just stood around while the only other customers outside tried to help us. Our wine and drinks were all smashed up in the process and the first thing the staff actually did was hand us the bill! Unbelievable. There were so few people on the street that this seemed staged, as in someone at the location tipped off the thieves, or else it happens so often that it is expected. Either way, watch your bags if you eat here on the patio!
