Flamingo Fresh Food Bar in Berlin

Super easy and healthy! No specific gluten free options, but have salads and dressings that are celiac safe.

Strategically located and with a bright interior, Flamingo seems to cater to a lot of local office workers, enriched by a varied string of loyal customers. On the menu is a range of packed sandwiches that can be toasted. Moreover, daily hot dishes are also popular, including yummy looking soups. Fresh juices left and right, but also the uncommon find of an Almdudler! Highly recommended if you are keen to get a well-filled plate and don’t have an endless amount of time. Very friendly service!

The sandwich was passable, but the promised 2 minutes wait turned into 10 minutes, after which we had to remind the staff about our order.

Wonderful spot for quick breakfast/brunch, but only open weekdays.

I was here at 17:25. Wanted to order a smoothie and salad for take away. They told me go away because “because we closed”. Despite the official working hours till 6 pm. They gave me no comments :)

A nice surprise in Berlin. Mainly vegetarian. Good choice for lighter meals. Great staff. Tables inside and outside.

I went here from breakfast and ordered coffee and the omelette with ham. It is generally busy around the breakfast times. Despite that, the quality of food was remarkable.

Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced! Even with a long line the service is fast and efficient.

We have come in for lunch and breakfast the past two days and would come back tomorrow if they were open on the weekend!! Fresh, delicious food and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. Amazing homemade soups and sandwiches for lunch and fresh omelettes & pancakes for breakfast. Centrally located and local too - definitely beat eating in our hotel!

Sandwiches and omelettes are fabulous!Also cappuccino is good. The big size is really big, finally! The waiters are nice and they speak English. The omelette might feel overpriced but I can assure you that its totally deserved.Good for breakfast and lunch, if you plan to go on lunch break go early: there is always a queue.

Favorite neighborhood spot. Amazing service - always friendly, fast and helpful. The food is great - from the eggs, to the sandwiches, to the coffee, to the lunch. Prices are extremely fair for this quality food. The atmosphere is charming and lovely to be in. This is a gem that I continue to visit over and over and over. If I could give more stars I would.

Quick food with reasonable price. They are serious about the obligations against corona, that’s definitely a thumbs-up.The sandwich was okay. I personally feel it would have been a lot better if there’re more vegetables in it.The coffee was a bit lack of flavour.

I was in need of a good breakfast before I began exploring the wonders of Berlin and I visited here as it was very close to U-bahn at Friedrichstrasse. The choice was good, the place was really clean and fresh...and the staff were friendly and helpful (speaking slightly slower for me as my German isnt great). I ended up choosing an espresso and a couple of croissants to start with, the coffee was so flavoursome and the croissants oh so fresh. And then I had another croissant and a sandwich....the roast beef one was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten...excellent meat, hot creamy sauce and tasty cheese (highly recommend this one). I left full, happy and ready to explore the city...I will definitely be back here next time in Berlin.

What a fantastic brunch! We were served by a very friendly gentleman behind the counter who convinced us to get the pancakes. I have never had such fresh pancakes and fruit salad in my life. Very calm and cheerful interior and plenty of smiles! Will definitely come back when next in Berlin!

I loved having my breakfast here. I had caprese sandwich and cappuccino. It was wonderful and the service was great for such a place.

Great cafe with convenient location next to Friedrichstrasse S Bahn station. The goat cheese sandwich with fig is to die for! Ask for it to be heated up. It usually goes fast, so I recommend coming in the morning. They also serve pasta and soup for lunch

Whats not to love about this place. From the deco to the fresh food menu, theres something for everyone here who wants to enjoy breakfast and a nice lunch. I love their sandwiches, their soups and their daily specials, which always sell out! So be quick! Plus the best thing is that the owners really care about the quality of the service and are always friendly to sit down and ask you how things are! If you want your fresh dose of food, then look no more!

I go here a lot for breakfast and lunch meetings. Great food! Two minor things: if you go for breakfast the smell of eggs will stick with you for a while (can something be done about the air circulation?). Secondly, for frequent visitors the lunch options are repetitive. Otherwise this is a great restaurant and I highly recommend!

Great place to enjoy lunch.Food was freshly prepared,reasonably priced and arrived in little time.The interior is bright and clean and the staff were lovely.It can get very busy but it you have the time to wait for a table is definitely worth it.Highly recommended.

Really nice cafe with open and airy seating. Really enjoyed the sandwiches here. The sweet stuff wasnt amazing, and their fresh orange juice was more like mushed up oranges, but the sandwiches were excellent and the staff very friendly

Amazingly fresh , I had breakfast there starting from the scrambled eggs, I added feta cheese , Avocado and Salmon, ordered latte on the side and then finished by having a mixed Juice ( Apple , Orange , Basil , Beetroot , Ginger, Cucumber, mint and Carrots , and the staff were Awesome, I highly recommend

Place is awesome. Owner is up and walking around talking to customers and making sure everyone is enjoying their meals. Food was good and service was fast and nice. Awesome place to get healthy light lunch or breakfast. Extremely recommend.

Excellent choice for breakfast. High quality ingredients starting from the eggs (bioto the Feta cheese. Freshly squeezed juices are available as well. Staff is exceptionally friendly and speaks English. Totally recommend this place.

Visiting from Chicago, we were pleased to find a nice looking place inside & super friendly staff with a very pleasant lady who speaks perfect English.Had a delicious avocado & scrambled eggs w/feta cheese meal.Comes with crisp, fresh greens (romaine and a 50/50 spring mix?).Delicious fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffee too!Best breakfast I’ve had in a while, this side of the ocean or the other... and outdoor seating on a corner.Highly recommend.

Eat like a local in Berlin, food is really cheap in this place and the portions are generous enough, the taste is amazing. The combination of flavors in such basic things like soups, salads or sandwich are exceptional. They have a standard menu but also the special of the day. Always opt for the special of the day, it never disappoints

The sandwich with buffalo mozz and pear slices was fantastic. Lunch with a glass of wine for <10€ is a fantastic deal. Cozy environment, plenty of seating, and free wifi. While it sucks my flight home got cancelled, I was lucky enough to find this place.

No flaws at all:I ate a sandwich, a chocolate chip cookie, and the famous mint Tea! The Sandwich was hot and delicous(nice pear slices!!), the cookie was tasted exactly what I imagined in my mind. And best mint Tea ever;love this place

Clean, fast, delicious food and not expensive. This is a place where local goes to eat in their lunch break. I was there in the rush hour and I havent waited at all. They serve pasta, sandwiches, deserts and cafés.

One of the best lunches in the area. They have an ample selection of fresh delicious sandwiches, soups, and main dishes which change daily, so things never get too boring. The only drawback is the crowd (which is a testament to the popularity), its pretty much impossible to get a place to sit between 12-1 (that is the case for most places catering to the office lunch crowd in the area). Also, the staff is very nice and efficient. I try to go during non-peak hours, or get it to go. The long line moves quick.

The food was very tasty and the serving portions are surprisingly large. When you order a salad, they mix it for you and its actually quite large. A small latte was also reasonably sized (Id be scared to see how big the medium and large sizes were...).The café latte tasted great, but it was a little too hot for a latte (at some point you start burning the milkand they served it in a clear glass without a handle. While it looks aesthetically pleasing, its not very useful as there is no where to comfortably grasp the cup while its still hot, especially when filled all the way too the top.Otherwise, we had a nice experience here!
