Five Guys in Acworth

You might have to change the name 😂 after you get to know Megan A 🙏😍👏 manager 🍔 of the store. when we go with a Grandkids we venture over to Bar-B-Cutie 🥵in the same mall but we were tired of 🥲 barbecue and my daughter 👨‍👧 recommended we go get a burger at five guys. We’ve never been to this location but I’ve been to five guys numerous times in a different part of town. When my daughter went up to tell me about the fries being under cooked, she said she take care of it 🍋then she walked over to the people frying ithere and mention they have to fry a little longer and they did 😍 and they came out hot 🍟crispy and delicious😍. I went over to talk to her at the end of the meal to complement😀❤️✅ her on the way she handled the situation 😀and turned lemons 🍋in the lemonade and I got to talking about my 501(ccharity which I support a No Longer Bound. I asked her if she would consider giving a gift certificate as a raffle for the golf tournament which was this Friday. Even though it was dinner time and she had a line almost out the door she said she would take care of it and she would give us a $10 gift card for a raffle. she asked if she could take care of the line that was almost out the door and before we left less than 10 minutes later she said she had a gift card for us and it was in $10 it was 20. Now since we’ve never been there will be back. and I will tell the story 100 times on my podcast that I have witches AWE Call “One Story”. This is the kind of management that is needed in the restaurant business and I hope to get to know Megan the manager more in the future. Because ironically I took my two grandkids six and three down to Bar-B-Cutie 🥵to ask them if they would consider giving a gift card for the golf raffle. Even though we’ve eaten there no less than a dozen times with our entire family and spent hundreds 💵💰💸💲of dollars this manager there couldn’t make a $10 🤑💰decision and didn’t make a decision on as little as a $10 gift card. As long as I live I will not go back to Bar-B-Cutie because of this incident. If I was running in Bar-B-Cutie 🥵 I would be ashamed of myself that I can’t train the manager better than that you might’ve thought I was asking for a $2000 donation she was so shocked and uncomfortable. I recognize what has happened to the restaurant industry since the Covid scare but this manager should be a upper management. Megan 😇a is that good and I can see why the most common word in your reviews for this location is manager. Not burger not fries but manager😀

I just placed a UBER EATS order and the fries were undercooked (hard like a raw potato)! The burger was too soggy! Will never order from this Five Guys!

Burnt bacon and enough Mayo to fill the jar back up...lol. Everything else was okay.

dont work for them, theyll "terminate your position" even if you spend an hour looking for a clinic appointment and getting a doctors note. Fire for whatever reason, I guess, but at least let it be justifiable first. Too many people on shift for only few things to be done. The most boring job ever. But its what I expected, except the being threatened part when I had a doctors note. Favoritism is real here.

Staff and manager having very unprofessional conversations in front of customers. Employees more focused on leaving at closing time and not making orders in time . Manager had a rude tone when telling me my order was not ready

If you think free condiments is going to keep me coming here when I used to pay $4 for a little cheeseburger and know you want $8, you have another think coming. Yes, food quality is still good but these prices ($5 for a small fries!!are crazy.

Customer service was good. Fries and shake delicious. But my burger was incorrect. I called back and they promised to correct it.

I hadnt been to a Red Lobster in several years, and the food pretty much tasted how I remembered. The thing that surprised me was the pricing. Its a hell of a lot more expensive.

I ordered 3 burgers and fries last night and they were dried out, no lettuce, tomato, or ketchup. The fries were limp and cold. I will not be ordering from this restaurant in the future. Not worth the money.

Closed an hour early with 5 people on staff.I drove 20 min, noted “New Hours” on the door, which I was still within. Passed people eating on the way to the counter to be told that because of lack of staff, the hours posted online, and on the door, and in the store wouldn’t be adhered to. A whole hour early…..they’re packing up. It’s the most expensive fast food burger you can possibly get, why can’t this company afford to pay for consistent staff?

Staff is always grabbing their clothes and masks while preparing your burger. Cheese is never melted and the burger is soaked and dripping in grease. Very un-hygienic environment. By the time you get your burger 4+ people have touched it

I will never come back to this location. I was just in the area. Burger super sloppy & soggy. Worker attitude was poor. I asked for ketchup because I assumed I only had about 2-3 packets & she wouldn’t give me extra. Told me it’s in the bag. Well I got home to a bag of half stale fries & 2 packets of ketchup.I’ll stick to the Chastain location. They NEVER let me down.

Everytime Im there, the employees are dancing around and dont acknowledge their customers, while at the same time grabbing their face masks and clothes with the gloves on while preparing your burger. The cheese is never melted, and tables always dirty.

Great food. I guess the extra fry thing kinda doesnt exist anymore. Prices are insane. Cheeseburger fries and a drink is over eighteen dollars. For one person. Crazy. Peanuts tasted old, too. Service was fine. I understand why the were not many people there.

Glad to see the place fully staffed. The food is always good and we got in at 9:15pm after baseball practice. Crew was polite and prompt.

I came in and spent 10 dollars on a burger and drink and I wanted sweet tea. I told them that the urn was empty and they told me that because they were closing in 30 minutes that it would be a waste to make more. Very poor service, tea doesn’t cost anything.

One step above fast food and one step below gourmet, five guys is one of the best burgers you can buy. This location is just as good and reliable as every other location Ive been to.

I moved to America about 3months or so ago and after driving with my boyfriends mom, she offered to go try Five Guys, i agreed because my boyfriends family said Five Guys is pretty good.So we stopped in and went in to order take-out, I had no idea you got to customize your burger and im very anxious when it comes to ordering custom stuff in food places, but the man behind the counter was extremely nice and was patient with me.Needless to say, Five Guys is my 2nd favourite burger place now, sadly burgers from home will always be my no.1Tho Five Giys is 2nd, I do have to mention that i am a picky person when it comes to good burgers, which is why i recommend this place, very nice staff, they work super fast, THE LARGE FRIES ARE MASSIVE, BE WARNED LOL and very delicious food!

Its been a while since I had been to Five Guys. It was amazing good. Its a little pricey but I knew that already. Definitely worth the extra money when I want an excellent burger and fries.

Five Guys is one of my favorite burgers. The fries are absolutely spectacular. Not upscale, but as American as apple pie. Get a milkshake too!

Normally I thoroughly enjoy Five Guys, however my burger was well undercooked through and through. Quite disappointing. Ground beef should ALWAYS be thoroughly cooked.

Three years ago they were amazing. Theyve switched up some employees and been through a few managers so their service quality has been lacking lately but the food is still good. Quality of service really depends on which shift is working when you go in. The drinks are a bit overpriced compared to other restaurants. The amount of food you get, on the other hand, is well worth the price (especially considering the fries are made from scratch daily, not pre-frozen like McDonalds or Sonic), and you are likely to meet some kindred spirits in the other customers who pop in.

You get the burger you want by ordering in person, over the food, or online. The fries are delicious. Plus all you can eat peanuts. This is not the place to a medium rare burger.

I dont usually eat burgers because red meat destroys me, but this place is TOO good! I did not get sick after eating here which really surprised me! The fries were soft, the burger tasted absolutely FREASH, and the atmosphere is so nice! The lady that took our order helped me read the menu because I did not have my glasses! I have definitely been craving it since the moment I walked out of the restaurant!!

Five Guys always makes an excellent burger and fries, but during my most recent visit, the staff here were in such high spirits that it was contagious. Thank you for making a good day better!

They have recently remodeled giving more seating. They have an out door dining area and plenty of room inside for when the weather is inclement. The burgers are all Ive had here and I will say they are worth the hype, they also give so many fries that my dear friend and I shared a small with some leftovers. Also if youre a peanut fan they offer complementary dry salted peanuts in shell. The indoor decal is mostly framed magazines and even a few comics that say what Im saying is nothing that hasnt been previously noted. Spidermans favorite Burger comes from here. The staff are friendly, considerate and customer focused. The only real complaint I have is they are lacking on condiments having only malt vinegar, ketchup, and if you ask for it mayonnaise. If that is not a deal breaker for you then this is an ideal lunch stop for everyone.

Ok, if you dont know about Five Guys, you need to put down whatever you are doing and go there today...right now, if they are open. The burgers are delicious. End of sentence. Great, fresh toppings. And their fries are out of this world. Get the seasoning added. Whatever size fries you order will be either plenty our way too many. Just eat them. They are awesome. Also if you are eating low carb or keto, you can get the burger with a lettuce wrap or bowl with no bun. I highly recommend. This is one of my go to places...always great. And the free peanuts for snacking while you wait are great too.

2 stars this time because I like their food (5 stars normallybut today, even though we checked this Five Guys website for their hours, they were closed for remodeling when I arrived (1 star). Many, many kudos to this mgt team for a great small business, but please think about your website being a dynamic, active interface with your clients.

You can never go wrong with Five Guys and thats a fact... They always have fresh fries and the best burgers. The peanuts make the perfect appetizer while they grill up your burger.Five Guys is a classic for me and my dad since I was a young boy, and it will always be a place I hold special in my heart.

The food was good, but the prices are out of control. $4.79 for a grilled cheese!?!?!? $8.95 for a cheeseburger?! Its not a giant burger, just a normal sized double meat cheeseburger. For 3 people it was over $45. Its just a hamburger joint! I dont remember their prices being so high.Ridiculous prices

Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Service was quick, it took less than 5mins to get the fries i ordered.As always and expected, the best fries you will ever get. Being a vegetarian, i didnt find much choices for Veggie Burger. The only veggie burger they have is without patty. (it will have mushrooms, onion, tomato etc).

Best burger Iv had in a long while. Incredibly friendly and efficient staff! Once you order it takes a few minutes for the food to come up because they dont cook until your order is placed. We havent waited more than 5 or 7min. Check em out if ya want a great juicy burger and AMAZING cajun fries!

Quick service, very friendly. As usual, the food was excellent. Had a little bacon cheeseburger and regular fries. The fries were copious and tasty, as expected. The burger was very good, but the bacon was awesome. Super crunchy and tasty. Ive never had a fast food restaurant make bacon that well.Very very good and well worth the trip!

I ordered a small fryer to see if they were good. But they were not good. They were not done not crispy at all. I had to cook them over when I got home. They were nasty. Also I had the bag was greasy and dirty looking. This was so disappointing. I paid $6.00 + for a small order of fries and a small drink. I will not recommend this storein Acworth.

Hands down worst ordering experience I have ever had. I placed my order online, drove over to the location, and let the cashier know I was there -- everything was fine so far. Then I waited, and waited, and waited for about 30 minutes before figuring out that the staff had forgotten about my order and that the bag with my burger had been sitting there in the bagging area the whole time. The staff apologized profusely, I took my food, and left. Then when I got home I found out that there was no bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. The entire thing was an absolute disaster.

Ive been to probably a dozen of this NE burger start-up chain, consistent food and presentation, if you want to call dumping fries on top of the rest of your food presentation. We had a small fry, Im not so sure that they are really small, seemed like the same amount to me. More than I could eat to be sure. I think its great to go into a certain brand restaurant chain knowing that everything is going to be the same as you expect.

Favorite go-to for quick, delicious food. The employees are usually very friendly and kind. 4 stars instead of 5, because the prices keep rising and it’s getting ridiculous. To piece together a burger, large fry and a drink should not be the same price at eating at a sit down burger restaurant.

The burgers are good, Ive yet to see the place dirty, and the staff has been always been pleasant. It honestly been a consistent experience no matter which 5 guys i go too. Its a simple burger and hot dogs place. The middle ground between sit down served restaurants and fast food.

This crew is on their A game today! They couldnt get my $15 gift card to work, so they comped our meal. I promise Ill be back! Then I accidentally left my purse! They kept it safe for me and brought it out to me when I got there. Great job! Great food!

Five guys is always awesome. You have to love a burger joint with A-1. Where else has fresh cut jalapenos?
