Five 6 Eight Small Bar East Perth - Bar in Perth, Australia
Five 6 Eight Small Bar East Perth in Perth
Description
Good wee British style bar with all or at least most of the Home comforts you may miss. The haggis burger is the business and why not have a sneaky Buckie with your Tennants while your at it! 🥴.......... unfortunately theres no football on the screens.
MoreNice Bar but a bit noisy for seniors wanting a drink and some quiet conversation. But the younger set will love it.
MoreGreat local. Super friendly service and tasty burgers
It was great. Great food and the view was lovely. So peaceful and quiet . Love loved it.
MoreLoved the ambiance of this place... Shevy at the bar was funny and informative at the same time... they combined the old style cemented look on the walls with modern architecture and the combination of high seated furniture to chose from is pretty good. We ordered the cheese burger and the pepper burger they were good. Fried were good too...
MoreFriendly and efficient service, great burgers from Wassup Dogs popup kitchen.
Really nice bar on the Swan River great views. Staff are excellent beers well priced and a dartboard setup with plenty of screens showing sport.
MoreGreat location with stunning water views, great food and great staff. Menus are always interesting & colourful! Must visit here, top notch,
MoreReally friendly staff. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, great place to go for a drink late. Reminded me of home (Ireland)
MoreWe came here on a Sunday evening for my birthday with around 8 people and the place seemed fairly empty aside from a few people who seemed to only be drinking. Only half of our group were told after ordering food there was a booking for 24 people coming in (they hadnt even arrived yetso there may be a bit of a wait. Three people received their food within 30 minutes, the rest of us were waiting for over an hour. One person was told after an hour of waiting that what they had asked for couldnt be cooked because they were out of ingredients. Only two people were offered free drinks for the inconvenience and one person was given a refund. When my burger and chips finally arrived it was incredibly disappointing - small and bland with not many chips. Most of us were drinking beers on tap but two of us ordered a couple of cocktails from their menu and the bar staff acted as though it was a massive inconvenience...sighing loudly before walking off to prepare them. The staff in general did not communicate properly with us and were very unapologetic for the terrible experience we had. I will definitely not go back.
MoreInteresting venue in East Perth. Great boutique beer and good venue for a catch up with friends or pre game meeting place for Optus Stadium
MoreNeat and tidy bar. Food adequate but not worth the trip alone
Excellent bar for beer and good banter. The owner is very sociable
Great small bar with amazing views with a nice twist of Irish English and Scottish food and some amazing beers on tap
MoreGreat little bar in a quiet part of east Perth over looking the water. Beautiful
Great Irish bar with friendly staff and awesome owner, nothing but good vibes and good beers
MoreThanks Micheal. Good Irish service. Looking forward to another visit on my next trip. Met friendly locals chatted for hours.
MoreNice little pub overlooking claisebrook lake. Was a little busy when we went, so not so comfortable when packed. Craft beer was ok but only good for one in my opinion. Didnt bother ordering food, looked like ok food but nothing stood out.
MoreGreat atmosphere great bar good food
Great lil bar. Gets busy on game days be prepared for food running out and longest wait for drinks
MoreIf you are looking for a great bar, with friendly staff and a menu with a Scottish/Irish/English flare, Great Sunday Roasts and an Irish Brekky Dog for me. Five 6 Eight.. right on the water in East Perth.
MoreNice atmosphere, good traditional food, friendly staff
Decent place. Enjoyed the food that ive had there and some familiar drinks that i could have in Scotland. Pleasant location in East Perth and has some outdoor seating.

MoreGreat staff some lovely craft beers.
❤ my local guiness hub!NYE menu was disappointing though, please reconsider for NYE 2019. We love the boxty and mushrooms and the service.
MoreGreat little place for gatherings. Decent food (huge offeringsand had live music on the Friday night.
MoreA great bar with a view of the lake. The staff are nice and friendly and the food is good to boot.
MoreI live around the corner from this place and have been a handful of time for dinner and drink and have felt compelled to leave a review because of how unexpectedly good it always is.My partner is a coeliac and they cater impressively for his dietary requirements! The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful (not common in Perth!and the food tasty. The live music on certain nights is a nice touch too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
MoreNice place nice beers and nice service. Hard to beat for a quiet drink.
A beautiful place to have dinner and drinks. Water in front is relaxing a good night out.
MoreJust moved into the area looking for a bite to eat..stumbled on this little gem. Friendly staff with a great atmosphere sitting outside eating a well prepared delicious rib eye! Will definitely be back.
MoreGreat local bar in East Perth with top quality service, some great beers and excellent food. Sunday roast is a definite winner. Tucked away but well worth the effort of tracking it fown
MoreExcellent for a delicious cell tick meal and a select few beers on tap, with a crisp view of the ClaireBrook cove in East Perth
MoreWent in to try out the new menu for lunch today and had the seafood marinara that was absolutely delicious!!! Also the guiness was the best if had for a long time!!
MoreGreat local bar and tasty, generous food
Pleasant bar next to the ponds with good outdoor and indoor seating. Food was expensive though.

Forgot my iPad there 3 weeks ago, I completely forgot about it, I get a call from the guys over there after 3 weeks on my work phone stating that I left my iPad there, very honest and reliable peeps! Thank you very much for giving me my iPad back!!!
MoreHomely Irish & British vibe, great live music, amazing food, great drinks selection! Staff are so friendly and nice too. Short walk to the matagarup bridge. A great spot in general!
MoreI wish i loved this place but stop serving food on a sunday at 7.15 , we went there for food , didnt even have crisps so left after 1 drink
MoreNice surroundings and nice staff but food was very average. When our food did finally arrive it was very disappointing. Luke warm and tasteless. It was a quiet evening so not sure why it took so long for the food to be served. Would not recommend
MoreDelicious! Great menu, food beautifully presented and high quality. Great beer selection and a properly poured pint of Guinness 👌🏻 So stoked this place has opened in the area. Already very popular too which is great to see. Will definitely be back!
MoreFun small bar with a Scottish flavour in East Perth. Sorely needed alternative to The Royal!
MoreCozy small bar in a great spot with an English/Irish/Scottish- themed food and drinks menu. They know their beers (Punk IPA on tap!and they are pretty serious about them - they stand by their name (568ml in a pintby serving pints and pints only. Theyve already attracted a crowd of countrymen and I can see it getting busy on the weekend. The outdoor area is not yet open (liquor license issues, I reckonbut looks promising - see my photos on Google. The food menu is a little underwhelming and the crumbed colcannon balls I tried were pricey, oily and bland. That being said theyre only opening officially from tomorrow so Id give them a chance!Overall a great place with plenty of potential in a sweet spot on the water; just a little work to do to make it perfect. Sure to attract the UK crowd!
