New venue with friends & not disappointed. Live music, great service, good food & excellent craft IPA beer, very good atmosphere as well.

We are both vegans and this place have nice vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.We had the vegan pizza which was really good, they use chickpeas as an alternative for the cheese which was surprisingly excellent.Nice live music nights,great ambience.The owner Lara is super friendly and informative about what to do and where to visit.You should definitely check out this place on your visit.

Ok...i only went here because I saw one of my favorite things on the menu, Shakshuka...in Dauin. So, I wasnt disappointed. Comes out in a sizling plate, rich tomato flavor and onions caramelized. One egg on top and a nice toast along with it. Slightly salty but still delicious. Would go back just for this. Service was great, friendly, efficient.

Food quality or the cheap designs doesn’t justify the price. No service when there was no other customers. She made us get up and order. A foreigner arrived after us and he got service and better treated. She took his order from his table. Why? Don’t expect anything if your not foreign.

My pizza was good, the wife said her burger was just ok. Reasonable prices.

Excellent, make sure you go there Friday for the best Indian curry in Negros. For the side get the onion whatever it was. Masarap and thankyou.

Kitchen for 3 stars (just need to be more tasty and not burned. Smoked bacon is not a SMOKED bacon). Personal for 5+ star. Beer for 5+ star.UPD: I see your point with smoked bacon. Maybe just need add some information that is not hot smoked. So I updated my rate to five, because your place is really nice and relaxing.

Great pizza, though beware of the chips - theyre super filling for their price! Only get one plate to share amongst friends if you want to finish your own plate!

Wow the food was amazing!! First time there and I really enjoyed the vibe, the staff is very inviting and the place is really comfortable with a great breeze. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures lol.

Pizza is so small and with so little toppings and you charge 250 pesos for it? If I had known that this is how small your pizzas are I wouldnt have ordered here lmao.

We went there on a Saturday evening where there was live music and very good energy. We tried several dishes and that was very pleasant. I have tried their burgers before and they are very good, this time I tried their pizza which I also enjoyed. The dishes were authentically made which made me feel home 😊 The owner is very kind and attentive to the patrons which is a very nice touch!

Its cozy, its welcoming. People are friendly. Bring the family or the one you love, abd its an instant date. A more relaxed-chilled out kind of date. They have a wide array of craft beer and cocktail. I only hope they add more food in the menu, though. Finbar is THE ONE in Dauin area.

Excellent ambience, friendly and attentive staff, and lastly menu variety offers something dìfferent from local fare.Not all of it Id consider good, but that is a subjective issue.Its the variety of food, atmosphere and drinks that sell this place.

Pizza crust was ok but ingredients were spot on. I had Pesto recotta with chicken. I actually had mine delivered too. So may have been better at bar its self. I did go there for beer once and they do Carry the local microbrew on tap. 3taps and other assortments of the same brewerys beers in bottles. Highly recommend. Probably best food in area.

Very nice service & good beers! The portions were on the small side - we shared ceasar salad (main version w/ chickenand fish&chips, and with both the size was something between an appetizer and a main course. For almost 300P a dish you could expect a little more.

Dont order food here. After 2 hours waighting got everything delivered cold. Cold pizza and cold soggy Fries. Not worth the money or the waight. Only ate it cause i got so hungry waighting for my food. Dissapointing. I hate writing negative reviews because I know how much they hurt the business owners. Although I felt like leaving a 1-star review after our experience, I’m giving Finbar 3 stars for the nice atmosphere and for trying to do things differently. We came to dine in on a weekday night, waited in a line for 10 mins and ordered two meals and a beer totaling 700 PHP. The food arrived 45 minutes later. The plating (food presentationwas nice but portions were visibly small for what we paid. My beef burger tasted great but I guess the beef patty wasn’t more than 125 grams. 20 or so fries were tasteless. The second order was a pulled pork burger but instead of pulled pork, we got unappealing chunks of meat and fat cubes. We told the waiter it doesn’t look like a pulled pork burger and that we’d like to have it replaced. The first answer from the kitchen was that we have to pay for the new order (yes, you order and pay and than wait for the food to arrive). After a short back-and-forth, the second answer was that the burger will eventually be replaced. It arrived 10-15 mins later, it was the beef burger, and tasted the same good as our first order.It seems like this place is extremely popular both with travelers and expats living in the area. There are not many places around here where you can get such things as craft beer, burgers and other Western-inspired dishes. Sadly, our impression was that this restaurant follows the familiar pattern of a place that keeps increasing prices with growing demand but is not able to keep the quality as high as before the volume of visitors skyrocketed. Anyways, I wish the owners the best of luck and many new customers that will hopefully be more satisfied (and luckywith their orders than us.

Best food in Dauin! I feel qualified making this statement after living here a year and trying a lot of different places. Finbar manages to keep a diverse, expansive menu where you will not be disappointed in any selection you make from western to local (amazing veggie burger AND halang-halang!). Do not fear ordering a mixed drink either as there are no fake syrups used here— these are real mixologists. As this business grows I only hope that they continue to invest in improving the comfort of seating/setting, etc. but it is incredible what they serve from such a humble setting. Finbar bests a lot of the resorts in Dauin.

This is the best salad Ive had in the Philippines. Very filling & tasty. Very rare to find nice healthy food here & this was a pleasant surprise. Good coffee & home made cookies also. Keep up the great food!

Well maintained, good service and nice atmosphere. As a guy who worked in gastronomy behind the bar, as a cook and as a waitor I can say that ordering food/drinks and pay at the bar is the best/fastest for guests and also the workers. The guys working there are cool and relaxed. Most important: the cooks know how to do their job. The pasta was very close to al dente (critic on high level), the burgers were very good (I grilled burgers for 2 years in a posh burger place in Europe). Self-made fries and the chicken dippers nomnom. Sauces also good. We just had lemongrass drink and ice tea, which were not oversugered, so you can taste whats inside. Long story short: just come here and get your food and drinks at this place. Unfortunately I tried this place on the last day of my 3 days stay... mistake. They also deliver foods, so if you are lazy or bit far and dont want to walk/take a habalhabal and call them. Thanks guys!

This is a fantastic little bar with great food. We were recommended this by a couple of the dive masters at our resort. Its the popular drinking hole for all the foreign dive masters and instructors.The food is superb! Very fresh and everything is made in house, all the bread, pasta and so on.They have really good craft beer on tap, including a really good Ginger Beer.They also often have entertainment, live music or a quiz night like when we went.This is a must visit for anyone in the area, and a good escape for anyone wanting a bit of variety outside of your resort.Transport is very easy in the area with an abundance of tricycles servicing the are.A definite MUST try! Enjoy.

Finbar is a cool spot in Dauin.The beer selection is fantastic.The staff were warm & friendly. Live music was excellent.The pizza was ok, I’d had better other places, the veggie taco was a little soggy, the coffee & cookies were excellent, the chicken wings were incredible, so much flavour, the chips were yummy with the aioli, the salad were delicious too.Highly recommend a visit while in Dauin.The venue is on a busy road & can be a little dusty when it’s really dry & hot. But it’s been nicely decorated & styled,

The food, the service and the atmosphere were all wonderful. I had the hamburger fully loaded, and would suggest for anyone else to order it without the bun as there is no chance youre going to pick this monster up. The sweet potato fries for a very good as well. My girlfriend had the chefs salad & the fried chicken sandwich and she reports both were good. We both shared the nutella pizza dessert and we both thought with it was delicious. The infused rum with ginger and lemongrass was very good. The only downside for this restaurant is no wi-fi.

The Finbars fillet chicken burger I had last week was simply outstanding. The best chicken burger this Finn has had bar none. The chef pays complete attention to the food quality , no compromise. Beer wasnt too bad either !

A small eatery on the side of the road, Finbar is a rare find in the area. It focuses on food and alcohol and has a great ambience. There is no loud music, so you can have a good conversation with your friends. The staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. Many of the other restaurants in the area are attached to resorts and trend to be overpriced. The prices here are very reasonable and there is a good selection of items on the menu. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. I was there every single day I was in Dauin. Great food, great drinks, great guys working behind the bar. The ginger beer and IPA was a very pleasant suprise. Recommend it to anyone who is in the area. Everything on the menu was nice! Definitely get a side order of the korean wings.

Great place in Dauin. They have a great menu to cater for foreigners and vegetarians. Nice beer, friendly service and some board games and books to pass the time. This became a favourite for us for lunch as it is only 5 minutes ride from our resort. Service was outstanding. The prices are cheap and good quality was 5 star. I had the quinoa salad the, daal and rice and spicy chicken. Three meals, all good. Two drinks and meals for two around 500 php.

Great place and awesome food! Especially the burgers! Cooked perfectly and so tasty.Particularly love the Eggs Benedict on a Saturday and Sunday mornings with the best Bloody Mary in town. But yeah....the burgers are the best!

But the price is so cheap for some of the best food I have ever eaten compared to being in England. A place like this in England for 2 delicious meals, and a beer for my girlfriend and I works out to be about £8. The equivalent in england would be £40+ easily.But forget about the price anyway. Its such a nicely created place with lots of thought and respect for wildlife. The decor is made out of recycled objects and they use metal straws for drinks to save on waste. Its owned by anYoung English lady who you can sometimes see. Everyone is very friendly and up for a chat. We have been there 3 times now and will be returning again all in the space of a week. Also all the local dive instructors use this place to drink in the evenings and theyre a good bunch of people.(I recommend Chicken Halang Halang. 180peso. Im a big guy and this filled me up and was the best curry Ive had. Coconut based with chillies)GO NOW! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Best tacos Ive ever had (warning: tacos only available on Tuesdays!), no qualifications. After the first bite of my pork tacos (two, with an amazing salsa, for PHP180I ordered another round.The infused spirits were also delicious (my favorite was the mango tequila), the prices were super fair (especially the tacos!and the staff (and owner, Larawere all amazing. Easily my favorite meal in the Philippines. I plan to return.

Their food is so good ! Everything is tasty and the drink is good too the price is very reasonable ! So don’t stay in your resort ! One thing I must give credit is they use stainless steel straw! Very Environmental friendly

Absolutly, unmissable place if you pass by Dauin and worth the travel from Dumagete. Rendez vous point for all backpaker, expats and tourrists with great beer from the local (and talentedbrewery. Great food, great people nothing missing here! Thanks again for everything! We will be back!

The reviews are spot on, you seriously cant go wrong here.Not an amazing choice on the menu but what there is has been perfected!We chose the chick pea hummus, veggie burger, calamari noodles quinoa salad side, plenty of rums and ofcourse a try of the pepper rum.All food was super tasty, a good portion size and well prepared! For the past month I have been dieting with the view of when having the feeling of being full to stop eating, this place busted my diet as I just had to finish off everything!!A few tables which can accommodate up tp 8 people with tables pushed together for bigger groups. All tables clean, the staff very friendly and helpfull even helping uss arrange a tricycle back to our resort.Live music and bands on certain dates.No Wi-Fi, a very social bar/restaurant.A must stop visit for a meal if you are in or around Dauin!!

I love the uniqueness of the place.Their “Koan” beer and Ginger beer is a must try. Quinoa salad is good too.

The best bar in all of Negros! This bar is found in the sleep dive town of Dauin and should be visited by anyone in the area or passing through. The prices are the best in the area and the food is delicious. In addition to the standard local beers and liquor they also have infused liquor for special shots and cocktails as well as stocking a local micro brewery - Birdie Num Num. The staff is fantastic and wonderful hosts for this amazing bar in an amazing location. Make sure to sit in the tree house!

Great little place with lots of charm and a huge variety of yummy cocktails and many different beers. The Eggs Benedict is amazing! If you eat meat but like a lot of grilled veggies get the veggie Benedict and add bacon!
