Filberg Park in Courtenay

Love this heritage site to stroll yhrough, admire the gardens, the ocean view, the original buildings and sit in peace anywhere on the property. Learn more on their history displays. Their well known annual festival in the summer is great.

It was wonderful to stroll around and look at 100 different species of trees in 1 place! The grounds are lovely! Id go again!

Lovely setup and enjoyable spot to sit and have tea. Very well thought out.

Great spot if you like tree spotting like oaks, maple and some other non regular trees. Some have plaques.

Park vehicle on the street. No dogs allowed. Events ca be held at this historical location. There is a public washroom. Beautiful landscape. Antiques are for sale at the old house. All proceeds go to maintain the park. There is no playgroung but I noticed a day school summer camp for kids.

Had Dinner at "SUMMER KITCHEN" in Filberg Park. Incredible food, service and presentation. Are very accommodating to those with a Food Allergy. Great views and atmosphere.A must visit for lunch or dinner.

Beautiful shady park, perfect for a hot summers day! Lovely trees for sitting or playing under, the interactive petting farm is perfect for little ones, there is a quaint walking area and gorgeous view of the ocean.

Hands on farm is awesome! I was there over 30 years ago and was able to bring my own son after this many years was a really cool experience. They hire young volunteer staff members who seem to have a lot of fun on the job. Highly recommend for a family outting.

Its pretty, I wish they would do a Winter high tea here.

So happy the Filberg Festival is back! Loved the vendors, layout and organization of the event. Thanks to the hard working volunteers! Where were all the food trucks?! Too long of lines for the few there.

Beautiful grounds!

This is a lovely beautiful easy walk along next to the ocean. There’s a small petting farm kids will enjoy with piglet, goats and bunnies to name a few. There’s plenty of shade and easy access for mobility issues or a walker for most parts. Beautiful herb and flower gardens.

Such a hidden spot, tucked away in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. The petting zoo was awesome. And the gardens by the ocean were beautiful. Well stop for a bouquet of flowers next time!

Gorgeous place for a picnic. Many people having wedding & graduation pictures taken in the gardens.

Beautiful park with lively landscaping and a view of the estuary. We had lunch at the restaurant, one of the best experiences in the Comox Valley. Food was excellent as was the service.

Very tranquil, gardens are amazing and the old house is beautiful. The gift shop open on weekends is a treasure trove of china and household items of value...a must see.

I got married here 14 years ago and it just gets more beautiful with each passing year. I am now a wedding photographer myself and love capturing weddings here.

A magical place...showed a friend the spot near the beach where I had my wedding ceremony 20 years ago! Still just as beautiful!

A real gem especially as spring is beginning to get sprung

This place is full of mysteries and riddles, there is just so much character here. I came here twice in February 2020, and they are only open on weekends during winter. A wonderful volunteer guide told me some of the tales this house holds. Rick, I think his name, was just so inspired by this house. Tours are available. It was a sunny day so the park was just stunning. And the ocean view is just legendary. My whole vision of Comox was transformed and expanded after this visit. This place is a treasure.

This place is an amazing place my son and I have made some beautiful memories here and absolutely love all events and even just a stroll through the property.

Nice place to wander around and check out log cabin type buildings and other stuff. Nice view of the ocean. The main building wasnt open and of course no gardens yet as it is winter but this park is probably stunning come spring time. Gives me a reason to come back.

An amazing park situated near downtown Comox littered with wild deer. They have a petting zoo which seems to be a hit with the kids. For the adults, this park plays host to various festivals and even an eatery on the weekends where Im told they serve beer (havent verified this for myself).What draws me to this place time and again is the peaceful serenity it exudes. There are park benches located in out of the way yet ideal spots where one can meditate or simply relax till their cares melt away.All in all, a great place to while away a few hours whether you have company or alone.

Such a beautiful place to visit. I cant wait till the Gardens are in full bloom. They have some very cool items in their gift shop too. A must visit when in the Valley!
