This place has the best gourmet pizza. Grew up going out for filly’s in North D as a kid (in my 20’s nowand it still hits the spot. Every. Time. Great selection. Tap beers to go with if you want to visit for work drinks. Learnt not to visit on a Friday though (usually a lot people meeting for these reasons and so if you just want pizza - there will be a bit of a wait ). Could probably use another staff member for weekend nights but no loss, just simply started visiting on quieter nights. The chicken and banana sounds weird but trust me - it works!! Pizza’s worth waiting for!!

Staff slow despite there only being one other table seated. Ordered a large gluten free pizza, only to receive a small, pre frozen supermarket pizza base..... dominos gluten free pizzas are better. They then had the cheek to try charge for a large 🤣 when questioned they shrugged and said they dont do large gluten free.... will not be returning

Located near the botanical gardens, Northeast Valley, nice open atmosphere to enjoy pizza, food, and drinks. Front section has bench and standard tables, bar, back section has additional seating and toilets.

Pizzas were inedible, skip this place and go to biggies if you are after pizza in Dunedin

Great atmosphere, lots of people turning up for food and drink. Even pool tables out the back.The servers were helpful. Fish and Chips was cooked to perfection - might have been even too much chips 😂😂.I am from Auckland, and loved this place. Thanks guys

Its a shame that in the middle of a pandemic there is a very causal attitude displayed by staff re mask wearing. A group of young men wandered in ordered and waited for a pizza. Most were not wearing a mask. This was ignored by staff. Then at times the staff didnt have masks on. It didnt feel that safe. Not good enough.

Such a shame, the manager made our table of 12 feel like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived, culminating in him abusing and shouting at us to leave at 8:45. This was a 40th celebration. Something must be going on

Staff very friendly however had the chicken salad and for $16.50 was not flash. Mostly lettuce not a lot of chicken and tomato mango, peanuts even less.Definitely wont be having this again.

Very disappointed and think they should stick to cooking pizza. We had the fish that was over cooked and tough also a very tasteless spaghetti bol. Beautiful salad that turned out to be the only enjoyable part of our meal. We had our meal delivered and it arrived hot.

2 of us dined out in the evening for about $45 & were well satisfied. Very tasty pizza. One ofthe best, even a cut above the rest of pizza eateries. Highly recommended, great friendly service too. Relaxed atmosphere. You wont be disappointed.

Pretty ordinary... was a works do... pizza was dry and unappealing... left over food not cleared from tables having said that we have been here as a couple before and enjoyed the pasta so maybe they are just not good at large groups

Generous size meal but the fish..? was very tough and beer batter was also not what it should have been.The chips were excellent.

A friend and I went for lunch today to Filadefios North Dunedin. We dont usually step out of our comfort zones but today we did. From the time we walked in to the time we left approx 2hrs later the service was impeccable. Jo (i think thats her nameewas attentive and kind. Took us both ages to decide what to have. Had the fish and chips(snapperwith salad that had a ginger and coriander vinegarette to die for along side the lemon, tatare yummm...my friend had the spaghetti bolognese and loved it. If that wasnt enough we had dessert and hot drinks. Now that tipped us over, it has taken up until now to recover...In these times I wanted to give credit where it is due. Thanks to Jo and the chef for everything we will be back..hope to see your ginger and coriander vinegarette on the market soon.See you in the future.

I have had multiple great meals here. Delicious pizza, good beer, and extremely friendly staff. Helpful and pleasant experiences with everyone here.

Went here on another visit to Dunedin in 2014 & it was ok. Yeah, not so good this time. Son had a Hawaiian & daughter had pasta carbonara and both were ok. I’d say good basic food, nothing flash. I had the Mexican pizza and again it was a bit weird but ok, as were the wedges. Wife had the Indonesian pizza on a gluten free base and thought it was awful. Bland topping and not a good GF base. Service was also a bit average and they weren’t busy. If you go here I’d avoid the GF pizza and go for the regular topping options. We probably wouldn’t bother again, with Sal’s & Hell down the road. Sorry guys 😐

This is usually one of my favourites in Dunedin but I was quite disappointed this time around. The usually reliable chicken pizza was not up to usual standard. The chicken was quite dry, barely any brie, and just some token cranberry sauce dolloped here and there so the pizza was a bit dry and blah. We were with a group and another had a different chicken pizza and the chicken was the same. Also, after our group finished our mains, the service disappeared, no dessert menus offered, nor even suggested to look at. Im usually one to give a second chance, so it had better be a much improved experience next time.

Great pizza, easy atmosphere and friendly service. Booking a table might be wise on the evenings and on the weekend. For larger groups there is space in the back room. Will definitely come again!

Nice staff great food and a warm atmosphere

The owners are very nice. The pasta was good and the pizza as I remembered from my student days. This place is a bit of a Dunedin classic. I think a bit of passion and attention to detail when making the pizza could bring it next level. Pizza is an art form and getting that right is a true performance.

Went there for my daughters 13th birthday. Food was delicious and the service was absolutely outstanding. Very impressed and my daughter had an amazing night. Highly recommend

Unfriendly staff, we went there and dishes and spoons were dirty. We asked for a new one. He stomped off and mumble with unhappy about it. Second plates and spoons still have food on them. So the glasses were dirty. Food is ok. Not great. And expensive for quality of food and service. Wont go back again.

We arrived here on the night of Elton John and this place was packed but the service was still efficient with very little wait for our food. The pasta was ok for a basic pasta, the burgers and wedges were good too. We didnt order any pizza but they look delicious.

I ordered garlic prawn pasta, and it was soooo sugary i honestly couldnt stand it, it should have been in the dessert section. Also we ordered crumbed prawns but they never showed up.. at least it got taken off the order at the end.. I really wanted a cocktail but all four of them were gross/weird/had caffeine. If I had to come here again I suppose I would try the pizzas, they seem to be a safer bet

First time here and couldn’t fault the place. The staff were friendly and the pizza was very nice. I will definitely be back again soon.

I heard about the place from my friends as they had been here before, and my expectations were high. I wasnt disappointed, the pizzas were huge. I ordered the Trump pizza, half Mexican style, half New York style with a wall of bbq sauce in the middle, which was amazing! Because I ordered the pizza in question our whole group got free t-shirts, what a great service! The theme of the place is American and is decorated with old licence plates, petrol pumps etc. making it quite unique.

Brilliant pizza. The Mexican pizza is unreal and has a spicy tinge which you want! Their salmon pizza was some of the best salmon I have tasted and the seafood one was packed full of lots of different yummy marine animals! The half and half option which they offer on their large pizzas is a great idea which means that you can try more flavours for less! The restaurant is a touch on the expensive side but you pay for quality!

Good food, great atmospher could of done better on the service though still pretty good though.

Leaving a review for the fella with the big beard. Cant speak highly enough of the service he provided us and the people around us. He dealt with our group with brilliant humor and patience then changed character completely with a kid across the room where he got down to his level and helped him choose a pizza like he was his best mate. Food was great, atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend.

Great place! We had pizza for lunch and enjoyed it so much, we returned for dinner (for burgers and fish & chips). The staff were very friendly and all the food was delicious and well priced. Will definitely return on our next trip.

The place is amazing, its styled nicely and the food is equally good. We got the large pizza, half chicken and half Greek, and truly a wonderful experience! Do ask about the Trump pizza as well, witty and interesting, would love to try it the next time.

Awesome place, visited here about 3 weeks ago but see it has no reviews so thought Id add one! Went for lunch with our 4 year old on a cold wintery day. Perfect service, food was good. Got a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza. Chicken on one side, venison on the other. Venison was a little tough but couldnt fault the rest of the meal. A little chilly until they turned a big floor standing heater on, but great after that! Well be back, and maybe well just get a big chicken pizza :)
