Fiji Street Food - Restaurant in Nandi, Fiji
Great food
Food took over an hour to arrive, we had a meat lovers pizza, but they added vinegar on it...? an antipasto (sampling all the entreesand a dish which was named in Fijian. The Fijian dish was the better dish of the lot. Surprise? lol. It is good for kids because there is plenty of space, but the place was dead... empty... All up paid about 85 FJD. Overall... Meh... Wouldnt come back for the food. Only for a big drinking party. Youd have the place to yourself haha.
Quite and very cheap beer
Nice food
Couldve been great but just ok,food was ok ,ordered lamb chaser in asian style, looks like lamb chops chunks, chicken chase was nice bite size, onion rings could have been cut thin slices not any size, taste was good though, beer was good cold and cheap, place was not lively as in no music dead as hell.mangement couldve done more to lift the place up,because its just beside denarau island resorts.well will go there again for sum cheap cold beers.
Good price
Food not to quality. Must be chefs mistake but could do well.
Great place with awesome price.
Its ok. High prices, good food, small portions and lots of mosquitoes. I was hoping to avoid the average of Denerau Island but its just another run of the mill place.
Lovely atmosphere
Great food and drinks. I had the chicken tacos which looked and tasted like something off one of the masterchef street market episodes. Tacos with a modern twist.
Very relaxed and laid back
The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for people wanting to try some amazing food.
We went there on our third night at Denarau Island. A bit tired of the enclosure of the resorts options, I wanted to try something more Fijian. So we took the Westbus and off we went. This place is more a small open air modest restaurant than the traditional street food stall. The food was good, the staff very friendly and attentive to the guests needs and the prices very affordable in comparison with any of the resorts there. A nice option if you want to try something beyond the bridge :)The only downside is that there are more mosquitoes there and in the resorts area (not sure what the resorts do to get rid of the). However, the staff gave us a tropical strength insect repellent and lit some mosquito coils.
Wow!! What a wonderful venue. On our third night in Fiji, after two mediocre meals in Denarau itself, we decided to brave outside the gates and try some Fijian street food. This place didnt disappoint, brilliant food, great service and half the price of the restaurants inside. Live band and atmosphere come free!!! Wonderful evening and we would highly recommend.
