Field Farm Reservation - Park in Hancock, United States
It was overcast and chilly, but we could still see what a wonderful place this would be to visit again and again and try different ways to walk about! We were in town for a visit, and if you are too and love beautiful and peaceful walks, check it out!
Meadow ringed by mountains, trails through woodland surprises. Plus the pond and the art. Very photogenic in all of its aspects.
Easy walks to fabulous views!
Lovely place to walk, nice farm up the road with lots of local goodies!
Beware, we saw a black bear about a quarter of the way into the caves trail, only about 50 feet from the trail. Great and very beautiful hike however
Beautiful for a morning hike.
This is an amazingly tranquil place to take a relatively flat hike among the wildflowers and in the shadow of Mt. Greylock. The transfer are all loops and alternate between sweeping meadow vistas, woodland, orchards, and wildflower fields. Some parts of the trail can be a little muddy after the rain. Theres also a nice orchard with a bench to have a snack with a view. You can stay on the property at two buildings but I have never done that. Its definitely worth a stop. The parking is limited and the signage on the trails is fantastic.
Well maintained, very scenic, and loaded with less-viewed local birds and wildlife. An extremely easy place to relax!
Beautiful trustee land with great hiking trails. The trails are well marked and very flat topography so anyone can hike there. Just know that there are plenty of open field trails so can get pretty hot in the summer. Bugs can be a problem as well. Birding is great. End your hike by their beautiful inn and check out the sculptures scattered around the property. Short drive from downtown Williamstown. Definitely worth checking out!
Gorgeous
it was muddy :(
Great walking in beautiful Williamstown
Loved this place. We did the walk to the top, we didnt make it all the way but great views, great trails.
Well kept up, free, and friendly staff. Easy walks, gorgeous scenery, great experience.

Thank you for a tremendous day.
Awesome lovely serene beautiful
Bobolinks and other birds among the tall grasses and a nice, small sculpture garden.
Excellent hiking.
Excellent family friendly hiking no public restrooms just a porta potty sometimes.
A beautiful Trustees of Reservation property open to the public. Many short (under 3 miles), well-marked hiking trails. Pond and vista of mount greylock. Easy parking off of Sloan road.
Beautiful and relaxing
Great hiking trails
Nice place to picnic, hike, etc.
Fantastic location just off of US-7 situated between the Taconic Range and Mt. Greylock, with trails that offer everything from wildflower-covered hayfields to mature oaken forests. Wonderful views of Mt. Greylock from multiple vantage points. On the particular day I hiked, the place was empty, and I never encountered another person on the trails. The trail loops are easy, the maps are well marked, and there really is something for everybody here.
Great park just south of Williamstown. Terrific views of Greylock.
