Classic Romanian food in a very Romanian looking place. The food was actually great - strongly recommend. But the service is awful. The waiter was rude, sort and really bored. Felt like they were doing me a favour!!Have the polenta classic. Divine.

Very traditional environment (in and outwhich tells you a lot about Romanian traditions. In the restaurant, there are a lot of animal derived things attached to the walls (e.g. dead animals), so if you don’t like it don’t go there. No vegetarian options in the restaurant. Cheap and good. Bad coffee. Could be improved.

Good food. Authentic local place. Good and fast service. Indoor and outdoor seats. NO A/C...

The price are quite expensive for that restaurant. 30 lei for ciorba de burta and 60 lei for cârnați!!! Taste and the quality of food not that wouvv. Its hard to understand the prices idk maybe I am poor.

Oh man, where should we start from? For us, these two stars are for food only. The place is good ONLY for a visit either during lunch or dinner, the view is absolutely stunning. However, staying overnight is totally not a good idea. There was no hot water, the bathroom door could barely close, it made a huge noise and woke up everyone. There was no WIFI, no AC and no windows, there was just a fan, the person who had to sleep upstairs got basically suffocated, the only way to cool down was to keep the door open, thats what we did even it was a rainy and stormy night, and in the morning there were some dogs trying to get inside. I wouldnt consider it a pleasant stay, as we all wanted the night to end faster and leave as early as we can.

Beautiful scenery and concept, but service was poor.

Very good food, very nice people. To be improved: more attention to the bill, dont add aditional cost.

Mostly meat and traditional Romanian menu. Vegetarians have very limited option. The location is wonderful, surrounded by hills and wine yards. You can rent a chalet for a minimum of two nights

Place is nice, food is great, but not a lot you can do, during the day, inside the complex. My biggest issue is that they dont serve food and beverage after 9 pm. Basically the whole complex shuts down at 9pm (including the 2 restaurantsand there is nothing on a 20 km radius to buy food or drinks

The food is expensive and I wouldnt have a problem with paying this much, but its not worth it. I had the rooster borscht and it had dark meat in it. I guess I was lucky and got some beef in it for free. Then there were the sausages... They were, simply put, uncooked.The upside is the view, the location is beautiful, excepting the restaurant area, that could use better tables and seats. At least you can walk around and look pet the horses on the premises.

I was invited to Ferma Dacilor by Adelina. She did everything to make us welcome and treated like queens and kings with classic treats that only Romanians could taste. Romanian or not, you could describe your culinary experience as awsome. Start with classic menu and add Adelinas imagination and her desire for culinary perfection - you are in place for a delight. The place itself combines Cornel and Adelinas talents. Their creativity is overwhelming. Try it - You are in for a treat. Afina Lupulescu

Very wide space, good traditional food.We also slept for one night, everything was decent.

If you get the change to go anywhere else go for it. Im never coming here willingly.Food is OK, but just OK, nothing special about it. Service is this place is missing the most. We where about 8 persons and the waiter came about 3 times at 15 minutes intervals bringing one or two plates, roughly about 2 hours until all the food was delivered. We had to figure out for ourselves what plate was for each of us. We ordered 3 bottles of different wines, they brought the wine and opened just one of the bottles, we didnt manage to get the waiter to open the other two until we left.Later edit:We where there Saturday 05 Feb 22, seated in separate room with a stone like table

Good food, nice surroundings. Excellent escape near bucharest for the weekend for families with kids and not only.

Decent traditional food on the menu. The location is nice and quiet, with lots of green space to roam, hike or play with kids. Horse riding lessons are available on site. Great place for an afternoon getaway!Unfortunately they dont abide by the current COVID rules, eg no vaccine certificates were required upon arrival.

WOW what a meal. What an experience. I cant recommend it enough. If your in this part of Romania definetley go here. I travelled from Bucharest and it was well worth it. CLASS OF OTS OWN

There are 2 restaurants: a traditional one and a fish restaurant. We tried the fish one, closest to the parking lot. The place is new, staff is welcoming and polite. BUT the food is average at best, maybe because they just started they still need to work on the recepies, and they have no bathroom on sight. U have to go to the other restaurant and it is not that close...maybe the traditional restaurant is better....the surroundings are nice..

After a very nice stay in the spring this year we decided to come again with our kids.The food has been very good (a very good breakfastand the area peaceful and relaxing.Unfortunately our experience in September 2021 changed a lot.The food has been still good and tasty.Just this time there has been a team building from a company. The hotel was confirming and promising when booking and checking in, that the music and noise will stop latest at 23:00. But nothing stopped. Until 03:00 we could hear loud music, laughing and screaming. Nobody in the hotel has been willingly to stop this noise. The people from the team event has been drunk and also not willing to stop it. We have been forced to let the windows closed, even it has been horrible hot inside the room..The kids and us almost couldn’t sleep at all until the party closed.We also have been disappointed from the reception reaction in the morning after.Only a simple apology. But nothing more like giving us a voucher for the destroyed night and the tired day after. A very bad and unprofessional Customer Relation Management.Unfortunately we trusted the promise of the hotel to have a silent night, so we have booked.Being disappointed in that way, we probably won’t come back and we also can’t recommend the location to our friends.

Been there few times before pandemic restrictions. Good food, nice service as I recall.Last Sunday tried again. Place was crowded, hundreds of clients, team building, staff not enough.Left after fifteen minutes of waiting for nothing.Thinking twice before going again.

Visited in June 2021. Restaurant and Inn, beautifully situated among the rolling hills in the Prahova wine estate region. The establishment features several buildings; the main structure houses the reception and restaurant, constructed with traditional wooden decor and architecture. It was a chance find while touring the otherwise closed vineyards around Tohani one weekend.The spacious restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining, generous, delicious portions, fast service, though some members of staff did not strictly adhere to mask hygiene standards. Starters cost 15-55, mains 45-60 lei. Several wines from the locality are on the menu.

A very special place,stunning scenery, wholesome and delicious food. All food is organic and locally sourced, from their own farm.Very warm and welcoming hostsI cant recommend it enough. Absolutely superb.

Fabulous place surrounded by vines. Excellent traditional romanian food and large variety of wines. Lots of activities for kids: horse riding, trampoline jumping, zip line and a massive hill to climb on.Near by are few really nice wineries wich you can visit and taste their unique wines.You can stay overnight also.

Nice place, nice service, good food but the road to it is not perfect and the prices are on the high side but worth it.We were hungry and needed to stop somewhere, so we found them.Romanian cuisine with local produce, tastes amazing.I highly recommend to try them.

Food wasnt that bad, but didnt meet my expectations. Wasnt crowded which was ok so the waitress accommodating us very fast. She was kind and smiling all the time. Good costumer services. Peaceful place and good location. 👍

The only nice thing is the view. Food is below average, lemonade and elderflower juice are a joke. The soups are either too sour, or just unpleasant too eat. And STOP keeping animals in small cages “for the kids”. 2-3 big rabbits in one small box, no air, nothing. Deers and does boxed under direct sun at 40 degrees celsius - who wants to see this ?!

Good place to end a wine tasting tour. Food was plentiful, tasty, well-priced, serving staff was prompt and friendly.The place is surrounded by nature, there is a horse paddock, seats near the forest, gazebos, lodges - all very rustic.Funny note - when we went there the dj had a musical seizure, combining everything from reggae to Ceausescus discourses with Britney and Abba.

Good homemade food, perfect for typical Romanian food. The staff was nice and provided good advice ;the surroundings are wonderful for a small hike. Highly recommended!

Very convenient for single pairs and also for familys. Very tasty food, big portions (about 50-60 lei 1 portion, 2 plate). Crowded Fridays and Saturdays, but chill during the week. Adorable dogs. Clean and very nice rooms. Friendly stuff.We have visited this place, twice (2020,2021).

The location itself is great if you just want to have a bike ride. Other than this, I wouldnt recommend. The food is mediocre and very expensive: 55 Ron for a traditional plateau which wasnt fresh (probably they prepared it one/two days beforeand not tasty at all. 20 Ron for a soup with just a few small pieces of meat. The bread was very good, though :)From such establishment one would expect quiet and relaxing spaces. This is NOT the case for Ferma dacilor.

The food amazing here, not doubt about it. Very tasty and mostly using local or their own ingredients of the farm, the personel very kind and helpful, the kids loved the animals (ducks, rabbits, horses, cows etcand there a lot of space to play around on the meadows....but i felt a little dissapointed by the rubbish here and there, old rusty metal pieces left over at random spots. I guess the farm might be still under development.

Ive read some of the reviews to see if our experience today was an exception.The service was very very slow and very poor.The place was packed at launch, but there were only a few waiters each with more than 15 tables.It tooked them more than 25 minutes to bring us a bottle of wine, more frustrating was that the waiter pass our table with 2 bootles of wine. He opened one to a table nearby and left ours on a service table for 15 minutes, and we had to remind him about our order.At the end it took him another 30 minutes to bring the check.Food was decent but not worth the price.The only good thing about this place are the soundings.

Even though this place is already well established and my review wont make much of a difference, I still feel like it s needed.The design of the place is amazing, rustic and homey. Love it. The service was decent, not good not great, but taken into consideration it was packed, it was alright.However, the place is full with an interesting “fauna”definitely not the place to relax and enjoy the nature. Also, there was no live music or music playlist and we had to listen to radio and commercials on a tad to loud volume.The food is average and definitely not worth the money. The potatoes we had were cooked a millennium ago....OH AND BY THE WAY, the selection of food is terrible. There s nothing to choose from besides some soups( they only have 3 sortimenta each dayspare ribs and some other types of deep fried meats. Not grate for someone trying to eat a light meal.Overall, the place is beautiful, but it s poorly run and not to its full potential. Please serve us food that was cooked that day, next time :)

The place is nice, but is the only good thing. No activities on cold weather. Food and wines are OVERpriced, with a small variety (considering the wines area). The food was salty and quite greasy, with limited options for children.Rooms from farms are tiny and quite noisy. NO REFUND, in case you booked and paid for 2 night and want to leave after first night, considering things mentioned before.

We booked to stay one night in August 2020 and were told when we arrived that the room wasn’t ready yet (at 6pm), so we ordered food whilst we waited. Then after we ate, and after chasing several times, we were told that they had lost the key for the room, and had no other rooms. The food was pretty average and limited options available, loud music blasting, so we decided to leave and go elsewhere. The refund arrived 1 week later. We won’t be going back.

Amazing place. Rustic Romanian authentic cuisine with breathless views and great service. Everyone in here is helpful and they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your staying. The food is delightful and the atmosphere is very warm. Great job

Small piece of heaven, except the land stretches over 10ha. Probably the best place to stop when on the wine road. Staff was amazing, breakfast mostly composed from traditional food was delicious.

Very nice surroundings. However food doesnt have much taste and it is served warmish or almost cold. You have only a few dishes mostly pork. Serving staff arrogant, bored and not so polite. I left 10% tip even though nothing was extraordinary and she has not said even a word or shown any positive gesture. Definitely she has not deserved it. The owners should pay attention to staff and food quality.

Food is ok, but way overpriced. The accommodation has no more than 2*. The major issue is with management, they tried to charge us more than we agreed and also on the special barbeque with Managalita pork they came with a higher bill and with less food than we discussed. Overall the location is ok for kids, but thats the only thing I can say as a good thing. And of course the landscape, the potential is huge

Really lovely place to have a quick break away from the city. The food is great although the variety is scarce. Theres horses and ponies that people can ride, and great views to be seen even by foot. Really worth the 1h30 drive from Bucharest.

The food is good, the view is nice but all of the kitchen staff is without a mask. Not even over their mouths. 0 % mask usage. And almost always theres a dude playing music for money disturbing the peace and quiet.

After 4-5 visits during last 2-3 years stil mixed feelings. A bit too comercial for a place that far, no real genuine romanian hospitality, a lingering feeling of "somethings missing". Maybe is just me. Sometimes great food and service, other times, mediocre. Seems to be beter lately. Interesting choice of dishes, overrated local wines, a bit pricey. Too many visitors at once.

I had read good things about the place before going, but I was disappointed. The landscape is amazing and the location ia close to many wineries in the area. Besides that the service is very slow, the rooms are average and their measures against COVID-19 need serious improvements.

It was not as great as we expected. We visited during the week, there were few people which was great but the menu was almost empty, 2-3 soups, all very heavy, same for the main course, all with meat, fried, heavy...no other choices. We were also surprised when we arrived at 20:30 that the kitchen was closed. They prepared an untasty salad, otherwise we could remain hungry.We took the tree house. The concept is nice but we didnt have hot water at all during our stay. Also keep in mind that there are a lot of bugs around. They are constructing some other houses, so starting at 7:00 am weve continously heard popular music, manele etc.A pitty because the view is nice. They have some animals and the children were excited. Also, Lacerta winery is near and that should not be missed. Also you can return to the main street and see the sunset over the hils.

The prices were a bit high, but the food was good. The breakfast was rich during weekend, but fewer options on Monday (maybe was an exception). Great animal variety that our child loved

The place is very nice but food was average at best, and very expensive for what it offers. No variety. Ribs where quite tasteless and the portion is very small for 60 lei. Wine is expensive and of poor selection (which is unacceptable given you are literally in one of the best areas for wine tourism in Romania).Popular music played continuously - we did not hear any other style.Service a bit slow, even if you are not in a hurry (15 minutes to get the check).

Bad accomodation. This is a place to spend the day and enjoy the landscape. The views are beautiful. But only if you can tolerate the music (Romanian popular music and lăutari walking around the tables). Some people complained the music played until 2am and their room was very close to the terrace so of course they couldnt sleep. We went with the dog so its a nice thing they accept pets, however we were placed in the first room where you can hear rumbling from kitchen machines. Also, you could hear all the steps anyone takes on the hallway and in the room above. The shower is not separated so you could splash all the bathroom when taking a shower where the water pressure was low. The sink also had issues with water splashing. The light in the room was very low. The food was good but overpriced. Some portions were too big like polenta with cheese, but if you order chicken its a small portion and the side consists of less than a potato sliced. The concept is nice, but the implementation is very bad from a customer point of view. Its not a place for relaxation

If you are looking for a delightful gastronomic experience this place will not disappoint you. I tasted a big variety of their dishes and i am an absolute fan.Now about the rooms: clean, confy and very good looking with their hudge round windows. You should try waking up in a snowy morning and enjoy that view while laying under the soft blanket.You will find many other things to do at the farm: horse riding, animal feeding etc etc But i will let you discover this amazing place by yourself. Enjoy 🤗

Great food and very tasty! The service is quite good and the food is coming very quickly. The desert is great! I we have enjoyed the live music together with a glass of very good Romanian wine.
