Feria de Tristan Narvaja - Handicraft fair in Montevideo, Uruguay
Nice place for market , biggest feria in Montevideo. It is open on Sunday you can get any thing you want . Its an amazing place to chill as well on Sunday
everything was great... street musicians and food was perfect...
Several square blocks with almost everything you need - fruits, vegetables, pet supplies, new and used clothes, books, antique pieces and parts, etc.
Lively Sunday market that stretches for blocks on end featuring stalls that sell food, clothes, fish, mate cups, toiletries, etc. Worth checking out. Arrive early (around 9amif you want to avoid the crowds
Cool place for tourist. Flea market
You can find everything here, just be patience of the crowed and you can find the cheapest price as their are many sellers have different prices.
This is absolutely the Pinnacle of street markets in all of Uruguay. Bring some good comfortable walking shoes, because this street market is 30 blocks long, in all directions.Practically everything you could ever want to fill your life with stuff. Clothing, Food, Herbs & Spices, antiques, Collectables, Art, Historical Documents, Fossils, Minerals bric-a-brac, and anything else you can imagine. This is more that just a Sunday street market, its a social gathering you dont want to miss. If youre a tourist, this is where you go to really take in the Uruguayan experience. Enjoy!
It is a must both for locals and tourists. You may find incredible bargains.
Nice market for a good Sunday afternoon stroll.
Nice view.. good beach.
The place to go for weekly kitchen refills. Yes of course it’s crowded. You get to have more than just veggies, it has good collection of old books, antiques, collectible coins, and a lot
By far the best market I have ever been to
I own a stall and its one of the best ferias I attend
Its a great way to spend your Sundays in downtown Montevideo. You get to experience a lot of this citys culture very close and the food choices are great. Prepare for long waits at the food stands because a lot of people show up.
It’s the neighborhood connection and closeness we are longing for in this post-COVID(hopefullyera. There are freshness and antiquities and helps you travel thr time and space. This Sunday fair definitely has my recommendation.
Full of people and wonderful! The main street is great and you can find anything from cultural features to food and even clothes.
I always go here every Sunday! I love thrift shopping. Veggies and fruits are cheaper than in the grocery.
Wonderful mercado! This is the type of market that we have been missing for quite a few years. It goes on for blocks in many directions and you can find just about anything there. Great prices and the vendors are very gracious. You will need several visits to see everything. One visit does not give you time to enjoy all of it. Going back as soon as possible!
One of my favorite Sunday hangouts worldwide!
Crowded, packed, spices and cheese smells. An interesting and typical experience
Make sure you visit this very large feria if youre in Montevideo. Be prepared, there is lots to see and buy, you could easily be here a few hours. Dont forget to fight for the right price, especially if you are "foreign looking". If the price seems to high, it probably is. Keep walking. There is more. Dont miss the hand woven ponchos, etc. made by an older couple (he weaves, she sews); all home made!
Amazing flee market on Sunday. A must to do in Montevideo. Its going streets to streets and seem endless. The market offer foods, groceries, vegetables, antiques, books, clothes...
It is a big ferriah which takes place on Sundays. They have almost everything over there. From pets to plants, books to food, clothes, musical instruments, flowers, fruits, vegetables and the list goes on. This is a fun place to go just to experience montevideo culture!!!
Weirdest street market I’ve ever been to 🤣
The most popular and lively Montevideos flea market. From vegetables, fruits, food trucks, books, antiques, second hand clothes and more. Just on Sundays.
A landmark in our country. A colourful flea market where you can find from valuable antiques to cheap bargains. A must-see spot for tourists. Highly recommended.
It was interesting. Very large, very busy, lots to buy (both junk and not). Worth a walk through but be prepared for the people!
Cool contemporary space filled with a dozen artisanal vendors of food, drink and goods.Nice place for a beverage, snack.
Endless stands of trinkets. Extremely friendly people. It is a wonderful way of connecting with Orientals (Uruguayansaround their city. I was there for 40 minutes and managed to find everything I needed to settle in, a place that did currency exchange, a universal power bar to plug my computer (they call it zapatilla here, long sheets of paper and a rubber ball for a workshop I was attending, and a Sim card. All of this before 10 am on a Sunday, when malls are barely opening. Not that these are rare treasures, but they happened to be the things that I needed, and I was able to find them while sightseeing and interacting.
Must Do if in Montevideo on a Sunday, my wife and I have visited about 20 times over the last 7 years and never have had a security concern. Bring Cash (dont flaunt it), Flea market style, new-used-or-old, bartering acceptable, too low and they will be insulted, prices mostly reasonable. Huge Variety, Huge Area, hard to see it all in a couple of hours.
Really low prices and kind people.it is way crowded, though. Very interesting to Walk through the street where they put their products on sale (from traditional candy to a pretty lady with fridge magnets), by walking and interacting with vendors you can get to live one piece of the real old city in Montevideo. Uruguay rules!
Ine of the coolest markets in Montevideo. Every Sunday until 4PM.You can find everything, the best deals ever. Some people even accept Debit/credit card
Good way to spend part of your Sunday looking at the market and its antiques. Theres a great Brazilian restaurant on the street to get really good Brazilian food.
Great place to get fairly priced fruits and veggies, as well as many other items. Opens only on Sundays.
All sorts of merchandise in a crowded space. An entertainment regardless of your interest in buying anything. Not much different than many other ‘ferias’ around the city.
Its a fly market in the street. You cant miss it if you come to Montevideo.
Nice street and flea market. Haggling is a must. Pay attention to pickpockets!
Interesting flea market in the heart of Montevidéu . It happens all sunday. There you can learn more about some Uruguayan traditions, talk to some natives and know more about their routines. If you are a tourist I rightly recommend you to go. Better go in the morning, so you can find a lot of things to see and buy. Prepare yourself, because the place is really crowded!
One of the best Flea Markets in the whole world. Antiques, clothes, food and a great stock of the most interesting and amazing stuff. Recommended.
Its a street fair. Its one of the biggest around, certainly in Uruguay, and you can probably find just about anything you want. Makes for a fun, leisurely afternoon stroll.
Its basically a Sunday market with some nice food stalls, the book stall of Ahmadiyya Muslim community there is worth visiting, definitely recommend
A truthful display of vulgarity. Dont visit it unless you like crowded places, overpriced junk, animals in cages too small for them, fruits and vegetables not cheaper than markets and, maybe, mates.
amazing place to do some object scavenging
Es muy diferente! This is a place where you can find many things from antiques to daily products and arts & crafts. You should spend some hours in this exquisite fair in Montevideo!
"Feria vecinal" Neighborhood fair, with a wide range of produce, cheese and sausages mixed with "antique findings" a real memorabilia. Be prepared to be called "vecino" in a friendly welcome shout-out. Everything is sold here. Everything each sunday from 8am to 4pm. Bring your sneakers.
This is a huge outdoor market. A true cultural experience every Sunday in Montevideo
Nice place to visit as a tourist. Be there around 10am and be very careful cause there are lots of "pick pockets" specially if u are a women.
A typical fair of Montevideo. One of the most ancient. Nowadays has been magnified. You can find oldest things and newest ones.Prices varies from shop to shop.
La Feria is must do on Sundays. Great atmosphere, all the locals, great food stalls.
Great tour for a Sunday! Fair is huge and full of things, from food, spices, to live animals, used items and the most diverse forms of arts. Very cool atmosphere!!!
