Well, I was very disappointed when Amy saw that my four pizzas were put up for delivery but she looked right at them 3 times and still didnt call out my name to get my pizzas! Luckily another worker was there to help me so my $70 worth of pizzas didnt get too cold. Amy needs therapy

Mostly love it. Service can be dicey. The pizza is the best around. I get takeout.

The food is always so good. I love the thinly sliced eggplant parm and they have the best house salad dressing.

Got takeout tonight and the pizza was over cooked. Also got a large salad with chicken with less than 4oz of chicken and no bread.

The staff on the phone was pleasant. The food was mediocre. I had shrimp scampi, didnt enjoy it. We also got chicken parm. The sauce was mediocre. The kids enjoyed their kids based meals.

Me and my son were starving and we were near this Mamma Mias we have been to a different Mamma Mias before but this one blew are expectations.

Bought some BOSTON HEMPIRE up the road and smoked it and ate a whole pizza. We go here for lunch and what a combo. The sauce is amazing

I ordered food for pickup while I got my nails done. Everything was incredibly delicious and my husband said the best wings he has had in a while.

Very mediocre. Some of the food was a little overcooked and hard, and others are just simply unpleasantly small. I know there is the sating Quality over Quantity, but the portions are tiny for the prices they advertise the food for. The taste is quite alright, if you need a quick bite its alright.

Very good food when they can get it right! 4 mistakes in the last 4 visits. Drive 40 minutes to get good food and get disappointed 😞

Went for dinner last night. Very disappointed. There were 4 of us. One ordered a cup of soup so she had room for dessert. Got a bowl, waitress said she couldn’t take it back and if she couldn’t finish it she’d pack it up for her. One got chicken piccata. The sauce was literally yellow water and had a big bone in it, waitress said “sorry”. I had tortellini carbonara, had to pick out several piece of unchewable chicken and bacon. Fourth friend said hers was ok. We had to call the waitress over to take our order because they were all just hanging around chatting with each other (there were 6 customers in the dining room). Gave 2 stars because the wine was good. Won’t be back.

You know how they say even when pizza is bad it’s still pretty good? Not at all true. This pizza was straight up dumpster juice.

HORRIBLE! Went here cause I had a gift card. Burger was trash. Overcooked, tasteless, poorly assembled and missing half the items it listed on the menu that were on it. My friend got the wrong salad completely, which was also basic and tasteless. Also, the pizza was a greasy mess and tasted like Elliot’s frozen pizza. I gave a piece of my burger to my dog and even she wasn’t a huge fan. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! NOT WORTH ANYONE’S TIME OR MONEY!

The food is good but man had to wait a super long time and my raviolis was cold I just wanted to eat them in the car and go back to work had to go find a microwave till I get home this really disappointing sometimes the old ways are better than the new ways

Distinctly average on their best day. Sub par service, assuming they can even get the order right. Waited an additional 45 minutes for a "completed" pick-up order on a Tuesday afternoon just to have them get the order wrong twice. Wouldnt recommend.

Used to be much better, now the portions are small and quality of food is just mediocre. Have eaten here over the years many times but slow decline has reached the point where I’m not going back. Save yourself the trouble.

Ive been eating their pizza since 1974 bk in Kingston. But over the last yr in Hanover I feel its not the same and getting expensive. Sorry to say.

My friends and I attempted to go to the Marshfield fair, unfortunately there was no parking to be had, and we thought the day was ruined. Mamma Mia saved the day with an excellent meal and fantastic and attentive waitress. Thank you so much! Our hearts are as full as our bellies.

I stopped here while on Rt. 53 while detouring around an accident on route 3. Great service and food. Its the first time Ive been to the restaurant in Hanover, as I live in Plymouth and usually go to Mama Mias there.

Mama Mia! Ordered the lasagna for myself, and it brought a tear to my eye. The taste was unbelievable, a must try for anyone with taste buds. My party also ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese and a small margarita pizza. I had a piece for myself and I can attest that the pizza is absolutely phenomenal. The service was fantastic. We were able to seat ourselves and the server was extraordinarily helpful. A must go anyone looking for an Italian dish!

I was not impressed! The fish had little to no flavor, with some diced tomatoes and some breadcrumbs on top of it. The broccoli was steamed, and flavorless!The Chicken parm cam on two different plates. The Chicken parm on one plate and the pasta on a separate plate.Mama Mia! You did not live up to our standards!Please dont do not call your restaurant, " an Italian, Restaurant ".

Good food and service, clean, new, dining room. The only complaint I have is with the poor quality "grated" cheese. I just wish (Italianrestaurants would offer an authentic Parmesan and Romano shaved or grated cheese blend instead of that tasteless powdery stuff thats used.

What a letdown.. I’d placed a pickup order for an Italian sub, toasted, with everything that normally goes on it. The order was ready on time, but it takes the cake for being the most underwhelming meal I’ve had this year. I received an untoasted, ‘sub’ that had 2 or 3 meager slices of meat and a pile of sopping wet pickles and peppers. Really disappointed and definitely wouldn’t say it’s worth 1/2 what they charged for it.

Sunday night before Memorial day. Very busy night at the restaurant. Our server was excellent! The food from the apps to main meals were great! I cannot wait to go back!

It will be a long time before I go back to any Mamma Mia’s location again. This is not the first time I’ve had to wait much longer than I was told for takeout. This time, I was told 40 minutes and it ended up being an hour and 40 minutes! It was my favorite pizza place but I will find somewhere else.

Would not recommend. Got a sausage sub and fries. Everything was soggy. Could barely pick up my sub because the bread was soaked in sauce. Frys were tossed right on top of the soggy sub making everything soggy. Dissapointed. Gonna be hard to come back after that.

Best pizza in Hanover! The crust is perfect, the sauce tastes like your Italian great grandmothers recipe, and they use the tastiest cheese blend! Last night we got a simple large cheese pie and a side of meatballs, finished with some freshly filled canollis. YUM!

Small place but dont let that fool you!!! Great menu selection, from apps, to main courses. Very busy with take out too, mostly pizzas, which obviously says something!! Great dinner experience for us!!

Hate to write a poor review about Mamma Mias because Ive been going to the Kingston/Plymouth ones since the early 90s and love them. However, after almost choking on a chicken bone and finding small traces of mystery meat in my tortellini last night, review time. The quality at Hanover Mamma Mias has steadily declined while prices have increased.

Ordered the Ravioli with homemade sauce, Been on the toilet every half hour since. Atmosphere was bleak. For what we paid could have been better. I wish i could give negitive stars.

Best NY style pizza around. We take the pandemic very seriously and hadnt had any takeout in nearly two months. After reading studies about how to kill the virus with heat, we decided to give them a call, they offered touchless delivery, left it on the porch and the driver called me. I slid the pizzas out of the box each onto a cookie sheet and directly into a 250 degree oven for 15-20 min, boxes straight to the trash, sanitize. Perfect pizza like they just served it to you in their dining room.

Got some takeout for dinner. The sandwiches were not very good and the Papa combo platter was actually disgusting. I have ordered this from their Carver and Plymouth locations so thought I was safe. Pasta was overcooked and mushy. Chicken parmesan had a strange chicken flavor and the sauce...it had NO flavor. I would not recommend nor will I ever return.

The food is decent but the service is usually lousy. Just now I asked the girl to put the salad in a separate bag and she rolled her eyes and made it quite clear how difficult she felt that I was. Same reaction every time the order is wrong and I go back for the correct one...and it’s been wrong multiple times.

Awesome pizza great prices. Just order the large the price difference is not worth getting a small. Besides youll have great leftovers. Usually we do take out but I have eaten in a couple of times. The menu food is good. Larger portions.

Been eating here for years but last couple times food was a little off. Most recently Got the papa’s combo on 7/25 and was absolutely inedible, eggplant parm was undercooked and still has seeds inside from poor preparation, missing meatball completely, and the chicken was chewy and burnt on edges, only good part was the sauce and spaghetti but i cant justify the $15 i spent on this meal to get a small portion of spaghetti and sauce. Very disappointed!!!!

Mamma Mias is the best Italian food that one could buy here on the South Shore. Ive been loving their food since 1976 when the owners from Italy had the pizza shop in Kingston.

We have been ordering pizza for take out from here for years every 2 weeks. It has always been fantastic and so close to our Italian heritage ! The last year or so we have noticed a decrease in standard. The pizza doesnt have the amount of toppings it used to and there is minimal sauce. I asked them to make sure there was sauce on it last Saturday when I phoned in my order and I was charged. There was still minimal sauce on it and it was dry. One of the pizzas was black and burnt on one half. Its disappointing as we have been customers for 20 years and have never gotten a bad meal here, until recently.

The lunch portion of fish and chips and eggplant parmesan were perfect size for a midday meal. Our server was friendly.

Food was adequate. Service substandard. Wait for food was not terrible but not great. When we arrived, after waiting a while with no recognition we were finally told by a woman who was on the phone that we could sit anywhere. We sat at what we thought was a clean table. It hadnt been completely cleaned. No menus so we had to get up and ask for them. We were then told by a waitress who came from the back of the restaurant that she had been busy in the kitchen. When our food was delivered she was talking to another party and totally inattentive. Whole experience wasnt positive.

This is seriously the worlds best pizza, probably because of the home made sauce. It also might be the best food Ive ever had as leftovers. Cant say enough how good it is and how nice the staff always are. Been coming here my whole life and Im not planning to stop anytime soon!!

Atmosphere is meh. Service is maybe 4 out of 10. Very limited. Tables are really close to another. Food was comparable to chef boyardee. Hardly any flavor. The "home made" pasta was awful. Not impressed at all.Overall experience was garbage. Maybe Ill go back and try a slice?

Me and my friend got some pizza, large cheese, and we gave it a one bite test. He rated it a 6.5 (out of 10and I have it a solid 7 (out of 10). I also had some of their meatball sub, and I mean its good, but not like great. Overall a pretty decent place to eat, but thats really all. So if youre not worried about having amazing food then this is the place. Doesnt let you down but its not amazing
