Sheraton Fiji Resort Denarau Island South, Denarau Island, Fiji, Nandi
Feast Restaurant - Restaurant in Nandi, Fiji
I just got back from a week at the Sheraton in Fiji and it was such a great week! The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming and the restaurant options and dining were first class. The bed was like a cloud and the showers were hot and good pressure. I have stayed at other resorts in Fiji before and the Sheraton is now my favourite. Special shout out to our waiter Sikeli. He was incredible and looked after my group of friends so well. He is an absolute asset to the Sheraton chain.
Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights in Sept 2022. Everyone was so friendly, great facilities and restaurants. Well worth staying there!Unfortunately the service since we left has been non-existent. We were overcharged for our stay - have emailed on multiple occasions and Facebook messenger with only one generic response over 2 weeks - this is still outstanding! If the service after leaving was as good as the service during our stay, it would be a 5 star experience.
Very nice and the staff are also friendly. There are various restaurants as well as there are various trips inside the resort to the sea and other areas by bus. The cost per person is ten Fijian dollars throughout the day. My experience was satisfactory to me. Thank you, the resort management
Ocean view room was fantastic. Big enough to move around easily. Balcony to watch the sunset with a beverage or two. Bathroom was spacious with a good sized shower.Location was superb. Right on the water and easy trip to shopping centre at Port Denarau.Staff were very friendly but seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with the post COVID influx of tourists and had a bit of trouble handling orders for our large group.
The staff wasn’t that welcoming, the we’re too busy with bags. They have no kids club. It’s more for adults than family. There was a big ‘Adults only’ place, bigger than the kids place, the room were okay.
Extremely disappointing. Generally the stay was good, but upon check out, the desk staff charged me for a tour which I had been told multiple times was included in my resort credit. They would not budge or apologise for misleading me and refused to let me use my credit as I had been told I could use it. Basically they put me out $300 by their own mistake and refused to honour their word. A bad end to an otherwise fine stay. Will not be back.
Whether its a week or just a weekend, the Sheraton in Fiji is the ideal place to spend it. We have just thoroughly enjoyed our second time there and are already thinking about visiting again. Situated about 20 minutes from the main airport in Nadi its only a matter of a few hours from Australia. The good points are: The Fijian people are so lovely and they make you feel as though you are in their home. They are genuinely pleased to have you there and they go out of their way to please you. The room we had was excellent. It had an enormous King Size bed that made me feel as though my wife and I were in different zip codes. We had a 40" flat screen television and a giant rain shower head in the bathroom. Our package with Luxury Escapes included three meals a day. We had a choice of 4 restaurants at which to have lunch or dinner, whilst breakfast was served in the main restaurant. There was a large buffet selection in the morning, and either al la carte or set at lunch and dinner. The one problem with this package, is simply that you tend to overeat and subsequently put on some weight. The Fijians love to sing and we were serenaded several times by the staff members. The first time was our second night there and we were celebrating my wifes birthday when no less than seven wait staff came to our table and sang Happy Birthday. She was also presented with a delicious cake and candle. We also heard them sing Happy Anniversary to another couple. The facilities there are wonderful. We had a choice of three pools, one of which was for adults only, and there were two other pools for children. If you wanted to swim in the warm sea, it was only a few steps away. There was a large selection of boats and jet skis etc for those who were more adventurous. There was entertainment every evening with fire eaters and dancers performing. On the minus side, well there really wasnt much other than. We were not supplied with a map of the resort when we arrived, so we didnt discover two of the pools and another restaurant until our third day there. The TV is tricky, and unless you have a streaming service on either a cell phone or tablet, you will only be able to watch the local channels as well as CNN and ESPN Sport. As I said earlier, the Fijian people are delightful, but they can be rather slow with service. So if you order something either for the room, or in the restaurant, you will need to be patient. Personally it did not take away from my holiday, but it could be frustrating to some. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Sheraton, and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is thinking of going there, but remember, "Patience is the key to a holiday in Fiji".
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the meals at the resort are excessively over priced. The staff will go out of their way to make you comfortable and the bula bus, at a fee, comes past the front door every 10 to 15 minutes, to pick you up and take you to the marina for meals if you want to.
My friends and I were all guests at the Sheraton Fiji Resort in early September 2022 for our friends wedding, and had the most fantastic Holiday ever! Half of us stayed in the Resort side and others in the Sheraton Villas; which I can highly recommend for larger groups and families as you are still able to use the full resort facilities. We took up the Bula Bubble package and got fantastic value for money not to mention the wedding was wonderful, the resort facilities and food were exceptional as was the Golf course and Spa.The difference in Fiji though, is the truly personal and considerate staff; every single person greets you when you pass with a huge smile on their face, and I felt welcomed as I never have before in any country around the world. Huge thank you and special mentions to Isaac at the Wet Edge bar and restaurant, Su at Tatavu and Susana at Island 619. The biggest thank you has to go to our new friend Pauliasi (at Island 619); a true Hospitality professional, customer service natural, and an all-round stellar human being. These people made our time so enjoyable and comfortable that we are already planning a return trip next year. Vinaka for everything Sheraton Team!
Absolutely amazing! We had the absolute BEST week here. Amazingly beautiful & the staff are incredible. Special shout out to Elenoa T. She went over & above to make us feel so welcome. Well done & we will definitely be back. ❤️🥰❤️🥰
My husband & I spent 7 days with friends at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. The resort was clean and the views amazing, The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The only fault that we had was the food. Breakfast time as a debacle as there were so many people and the food was not being restocked quickly enough. We found that the meat available at Breakfast was never cooked properly i.e bacon, sausages etc.I am gluten intolerant and there was not enough Gluten Free Options available. 4 out of the 7 days that we were there, there was no Gluten Free Bread available. The Gluten Free muffins felt like they are been made at least a week before as they were stale and hard. There was also limited range of Gluten Free meals available at the restaurants and I gather that not many of the staff are trained in dietary requirements.
The resort is great - convenient located in Denarau.Rooms and services at the hotel are excellent.Pools are small but the ocean is just 2 steps away. Many families with small children also come here , something to consider if you come here.
Unbelievable experience 🎉The best hotel available, the grand entrance, pools, restaurants, vibe and staff.. I proposed to my partner on this trip and I can’t thank the staff enough for their love and hospitality. Simply amazing … shout out to Jo and Kity for your extra genuine love.We will be back. 🎉❤️
We walked along the walk way which takes you down to the other resorts. I must say that Sheraton is the best resort to stay. There are 3 restaurants on site, the pool space is absolutely beautiful. The restaurants are situated right next to pool. Theres a little shopping area in the resort lobby. The rooms are emaculate and well situated. The waitresses are so helpful and friendly. Always smiling and so hospitable. I would say the best service received out of all the countries I have been to. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back
Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort has added nothing but goodness to our stay. We’re thankful to all the staff, particularly Doris for providing us with an excellent service at Tatavu Grill & Bar. Doris is a beautiful leader that has made us feel like our stay was around people who were like a family. We’re appreciative to Doris for being truly a beautiful gem and we wish her all the best for her endeavors. We definitely can’t forget to mention Chef Dante who accommodated us with his amazing menus and providing the best food that we could have at the restaurant. Chef Ali was also nice and gave suggestions and accommodated our requests and we are thankful enough for his gesture. Memories will forever be cherished ❤️
Wonderful experience. Suitable for families, lovers, oldies. Staff incredible, Italian pastry chef in foyer cafe makes incredible yummies. A group sang on our anniversary and again to farewell us.
We had the most incredible holiday at the Sheraton Fiji. I really can’t speak highly enough of this place as this is one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed in around the world. The facilities (lobby, multiple pools, restaurants, rooms and groundsare stunning and the location is brilliant. BUT the best thing about this resort is the staff. Everyone who we dealt with were so friendly and just superb. The warmth of all of the staff really made our stay incredible. They went out of their way to play with our kids, help us with anything we needed and just made us all feel so welcome. From ordering drinks by the pool to dinning in the restaurants and watching the nightly bands… everything was top class. A special thank you to Sini by the pool, Liana, Zoro & Fillimone in Island 619, Lucy & Vanessa at Tatavu… honestly too many names to mention. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful and memorable… and the farewell they sing you on your last night gives you absolute goosebumps! We WILL be back!
Brilliant resort with great dining options and facilities. We booked very late so it was expensive but looking at the same time next year it’s under half what we paid. The resort charges for things like food and beverage are western prices but reasonable by comparison to other establishments we stayed and dined at during this visit. The villas are very spacious and well laid out for families, prioritising space and privacy for all. Highly recommended.
Beautiful resort. The staff are so friendly. The restaurants and service was amazing, food was always fantastic. Great sized rooms that were spotless and serviced every day. Highly recommend.
Ive stayed at three different hotels under the Marriott corporation during my vacation in Fiji, and this is the one that Id stay at again if I were to visit Fiji again. First, its conveniently located near Port Denarau, so you can even walk to the port if you want. Theres also frequent bus service around town. The service was good and I was recognized and welcomed as an elite member. The line at the front desk or at the restaurant could be very long during the peak hours. I wish they add more staff at the front desk during rush hours. The food in the breakfast buffet was well prepared and offered with a wide variety. One disadvantage of the hotel is that they have limited room types and its geared towards families, so the pool could get crowded at times, but you can also use the pool at the adjacent Sheraton Villa for free, so that makes up for it.
The service is soooo bad. Everyone is friendly which at the start makes it ok when they forget your order or forget to service your room - it’s all just island time/life 😉 By the end of 10 days when you literally haven’t ordered anything that arrived on time or as it was described and multiple days they forgot to service the room, a friendly smile and sorry doesn’t really cut it. If I won a free holiday here, I would sell it and go somewhere else…
Have brought our family many many times and found the renovations favourable. The staff made extra efforts to welcome us. The porters were so obliging also. The downer for us was around 7am every day people rush out and put towels on the loungers then do not return for several hours. It was impossible to get a seat around the pool yet most of them had only a towel on themWe have travelled a lot and most resorts have signs which say if your towel is not attended in 60mins it will be removed and the Sheraton needs to do this.We are elderly and sitting on the ground was not an option.
One of, if not the best resort atriums Denarau area. We had the basic room, and that was fantastic. The internet was very reliable, tv was quite large for the room. Shower was a bit weak, but plenty of hot water. Replenishment of toiletries was very generous. The location was fantastic. Only issue was that they appeared to be understaffed. There were 2 days which our room did not get serviced, and another day which we were not able to get our complimentary water. That said overall the experience was brilliant. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were top notch.
The Sheraton is gorgeous. Open spacious foyer. The grounds are stunning. Room are beautifully designed. Bathrooms are a treat to use.The service is exceptional from the moment you arrive to the moment you checkout. Our bags were a little late coming to the room. We got a free bottle of sparkling wine as an apology. Really nice gesture. There is a members drinks on the lawn Tue and Friday. Enjoyed meeting some fellow travellers.A few shops, Fiji airways office and Rosie travel in the foyer. Super helpful. We took advantage of the free luggage storage at Bell desk as we had too much luggage for the domestic flight. Came back 5 days later to pickup. Really saved us.Attentive, friendly staff, great food and drinks. With a few resorts side by side and the marina a short walk away you will have plenty of food options - shoutout to Sails@ Denaurau. The breakfast buffet is great. All the usual treats, eggs & bacon, omletes, pastries, pancakes as well as charcuterie - cheese meats smoked salmom gravlax. And some curries and soups too.The beach and pool areas are so comfortable. You can easily spend hours poolside. Perfect for relaxing. The adult pool areas are a good distance from childrens areas.Cant wait to come back here. Loved it!
Big Bula! We had a great time. The staff at Sheraton make you feel very welcome, relaxed and taken care of. A big vinaka to all the staff at Sheraton and all the amazing people we met while in Fiji. ♥️
I came here with my parents for a very short weekend stay. From the start, the staff was not only good or excellent, they went above and BEYOND their capabilities to ensure we always were taken care. The friendliness and the little things we required that they remembered is what made this place special. I think I interacted with maybe 20+ staff and I would give every staff member 10/10. From the people at Tatavu to the Island breakfast buffet to the room service to the cafe to the reception to the concierge ...I dont think there has been a better service I have seen or felt in the 40+ hotels I have stayed in my adult life. The staff is what made this place so memorable. The rooms were brilliant as expected. The breakfast was out of this world. When we come back to Fiji, we are staying here again.
The resort is stunning and you think wow when you walk in. But then you soon realise it definitely isnt a 5 star resort. The service is extremely slow or doesnt exist at times. The wait time for your food and drink is sometimes 60-90 minutes. Food items arent available on the menu on a regular basis. The quality of the food is not 5 star and pretty basic at times. The staff are friendly but you can tell they dont really want to work as they dont put in much effort to make things better and just say sorry. The rooms are clean and comfortable but there is hardly any space to store away clothes. I also recommend you regularly check your room bill as they charge you for items which you shouldnt be charged for so you have to stay on top of it. Also we requested a cot for our baby and when we got to the room there was no cot and I had to phone several times to get them to bring a cot and by that time I ended up having to put my baby to sleep in the pram. The water aerobic classes are fun and they run daily but there is really not much else to do for the adults. No gym or day spa on site. The pool is freezing, definitely not heated. The restaurants have no air con so it can get very warm when sitting down for a meal.
Awesome place to stay. Definitely the best breakfast buffet we had in our trip to Fiji.Staff were wonderful, good sized gym across the road and walking distance to port or you can catch the bula bus.Activities were stacked and done with passion. Also helpful stores in the resort where you could buy snacks, drinks etc.Definitely would go back for another stay. Best vibe vs the other resorts in Denarau.
The resort is newly renovated and looks amazing. The buffet breakfast is really good every morning. The staff is super friendly and will do anything to help you out. There is a buffet dinner every night with different theme. We had 2 buffets there and they were both very nice but I woudlnt do more than 2 buffets there as there are a lot of other options to try out for dinner while in Fiji. The rooms are nice and newly renovated. The Tatavu bar has nightly music with a really good band. Its the perfect place to chill at night. The lobby is a beautiful grand entrance as you arrive the resort.
The hotel was modern and the renovations and decor was stunning. We loved the architectural layout and the performers that did the cultural and fire dance at 5:30pm each evening. Only 20-25 mins taxi ride from Nadi Airport. The Garden Ocean view suite was perfect, we could look at the sunrise and sunset from our suite. The Fijian staff (in particularwere the most welcoming, friendliest Pasifika people, Ive encountered and they were hospitable and genuine with their "Bula Vinaka" greetings throughout the day. We loved the cart ride initially to our suite with our luggage and then to travel across to the adult poolside. However, my only complaint is the poor communication and the lack of urgency with requests we made, e.g. no soap, shampoo, conditioner or rubbish bin linings upon our arrival (we eventually sourced these via a housemaid who was servicing another roomand when our suite door wouldnt lock on the second day, despite requesting for it to be fixed at the front desk, it took a further two frustrating phone calls before the maintenance team, were even notified that the problem existed. It got fixed and the maintenance gentleman apologised for the breakdown in communication.Other than that, I loved our winter escape to the Sheraton and the 5-day Bula Bus Pass is a must, you get to ride around Denarau and stop at other hotels on your way to/from Port Denarau (aka Marinerfor affordable cocktails, beers and meals.Thank you for the fond memories Fiji 🇫🇯
Without a doubt this resort is worth its 5 stars. From the moment we arrived we were treated with such warmth and nothing was ever a bother for anyone and the staff were fantastic. From the staff at the front counter, to the cleaning staff and the staff at the Tatavua bar and grill were amazing and went over and above to serve us. Would definitely recommend the Sheraton and we will be back!!
My previous review was for first night which had few hiccups , a big thank you to Fiona (duty manager today who listen to my issues calmly , not only she apologise for all the troubles we faced on first night but she took remediation actions immediately and transferred us to peaceful quite room in matter of few hours . Finally feeling like yes we r on a holiday and it’s superb room bed everything is spacious clean n quite , view is perfect for ocean front , amazing sunset view ….Loving the buffet breakfast n buffet dinner it’s a huge variety and yes heaps of variety also for vegetarians like us and chefs make additional vegetarian dishes on request which is just awesome . You might end up over eating delicious food but won’t go hungry that’s for sure :)All the staff at restaurant , reception, esava who helped us with luggage , everyone here is really friendly happy bula spirit n calm , the fire dance was so cool to watch . I’m Loving my stay now and I m sure I would have wish to stay longer end of this week when it’s time to go back home n I ll only wish if I booked in more days . On arrival covid test is also really easy just across resort two min walk or quick ride by buggy, no queues and was really quick .Hospitality from all Fiji people is so heart warming which is what makes u want to come back again n again. The delicious food and hospitality , weather all of that wants you to come bask here again n again, no way we get even 50 percent of the hospitality back in Australia similar expensive resorts. Also We bought meals inclusive bulla bubble offer and I swear it’s really worth it . Again thank you Fiona for ever, it’s very much appreciated:Love it !
We dined at the buffet restaurant Island 1619 and I am absolutely disappointed that I paid over $600 AUD for 7 adults for the buffet. The food was cold, below average and less variety than other places we dined at. Oh and beverages were only included for house guests! For that amount paid, I expected exceptional food, lots of variety and fine dining quality. I wouldve enjoyed a night at my hotel at Sofitel eating a club sandwich. I will never consider dining or staying at the Sheraton nor will I recommend it as it appears to have some form of culture of either disappointing guests and turning them away. For example we turned up at the restaurant Tatavu who told us that they were fully booked. Mind you, the tables were empty. Upon speaking to the manager we were told that dining was only open to in house guests. Absolutely dissatisfied and felt embarrassed as I took my guests there. Never again!
Simply amazing water front property. The staff are just so friendly and gracious. We booked an oceanfront room for our family of three adults. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The view from the room was breathtaking! We highly recommend this property.
There is no such thing as an unhappy guest here.Honestly the staff, the food, the ammenities… incredible. Nothing to add.We used the bula bubble with drinks. This includes breakfast lunch and dinner. With breakfast and dinner limited to Island 619. The buffet is the best I’ve ever had. With freshly made savoury, sweet and anything in between. The hotels rooms are spacious, clean, well equiped. The wifi is free and unlimited.A particular mention to the hotel staff. Who always greet you and if they can’t help, will find someone who can.Everything seems easy and honestly they take care of so much, it feels like you’ve got nothing to worry about. Will be coming back again.
Newly renovated rooms in April 2022, clean and fully equipped. Friendly staff and excellent room service. Halal food upon request, go see Chef Rakesh at 619 restaurant, he will prepare all your meals separately. Chicken, lamb and beef was approved by Fiji Muslim League, but check on your own visit as this may change.
We had a beachfront room and expected great service! Unfortunately the resort did not live up to expectations.Recently renovated the room was great but we were let down by the service. Almost every request from selected wine not being available, (twice 1 night, once the next night, ice request to the room had to be chased up, twice. Room not made up at requested time. These are just examples.Tatavu restaurant tried hard, Sava was our waiter on several occasions and he never missed a beat. Steak was the best we ever had but ruined on the last evening, served lukewarm, oversalted and scallops were tough. The staff had been stood down for 2 years so perhaps they were out of practice. They were however always friendly and apologetic when something went wrong, unfortunately too often.
Our family really enjoyed the day and night we spent here. The good:The kids stayed in the pool every moment they had.We were able to pay to get into the breakfast area, even though our check-in wasnt until later. The rooms have air conditioning. The beds are cozy. There is a door going out the back, which made getting to the beach easy. The beach is beautiful. They have jet skiing, kayaking, Para glyding, paddle boarding. They do a fire dance at night. The bad:When we first got there they couldnt do an early check-in, which is fine, but then we had to wait until after normal check-in to get our rooms. The process to check in was slow. I can see why people day "Fiji time", nonsense of urgency at the check-in or check-out counter. The breakfast area charged for soda, but I could drink all the juice, eat all the meat, I wanted. Seems petty. Just give the soda....Drinks are provided in small small glasses. So small they were basically 1 gulp. The workers restocking them were Extreamly slow, moving 1 glass at a time.
The best hotel on Deneru island - we had a look at the others when we were eating at there restaurants! We stayed 6 nights as a couple, hotel and room was excellent, we spent most of our day at the villas pool which barely had any one else so it was like our private pool, staff were outstanding what a credit to the hotel, one disappointment was that the tips you leave when paying by credit card the staff don’t get so we got cash out and paid tips in cash - shame on you Sheraton you’re best asset is not your fancy hotel it’s your staff!
One of the best five star resorts in Denarau Island. It’s recently renovated and looks fresh. We totally loved our stay and the buffet breakfast at Island 619 was amazing. Kids spent a lot of time in the kids club and around the pool area. The staffs were super friendly, and made our stay at Sheraton special. Don’t miss the evening 6:30PM Fijian fire dance if you stay there.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Left a lovely gift in our room the night of our wedding anniversary celebration. Adults only area was very much enjoyed by us for the peace and quiet. Beach was not overcrowded but was quiet and relaxing listening to the waves roll in. Direct beach access from the resort was great. Would agree with an earlier review, in that it is very difficult to find food (outside of the buffetif you have allergies/intolerances. However we found this a significant problem everywhere we went in Fiji.
Seriously..we are avid Sheraton customers and have stayed at Sheraton Fiji before..I’m aware we’ve all had Covid and the ensuing issues but I’ve NEVER experienced anything as disgusting as the service in your supposed fine dining restaurant..2 and a half hours before food arrived..and we had very young children..the food was way below average at very inflated prices. $85 for my steak that was cold with cold sides & a bernaise sauce that was really whipped butter. I’ve never been so thoroughly disgusted with a hotel in a lifetime of travel. So angry. I’m done with you Sheraton and I’ve been a club member for years.
I’m my opinion this hotel is overpriced.$100fjd for buffet dinner pp.$30 for a simple omelette for room service breakfast which took over a hour. The hotel itself is lovely but service and certainly speed are certainly lacking what a 5 star hotel should be.On the plus side the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are nice.
My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights and had the most amazing holiday. The staff cannot do enough to help u and are just so friendly and genuinely happy and so welcoming, they truly made our holiday wonderful - there were a few that went over and beyond to help us - Ema from front office , Siti from concierge and Flora and Adi from Tatavu Bar and Grill. - thank u! The rooms were super clean and the beds oh so comfy. The grounds and pools all were well kept and maintained.
Clean room and grounds and really friendly staff. Went with two young children and the pool options were fantastic. The menus at the restaurants aren’t extensive but all the food was of a high standard. A special mention to Paulini who my children (and usadored!
The resort options are great. With the recent downturn in visitors over the last 2 years, the staff and services are still trying to get back on their feet.Room was updated minus the toilet which has a leak fitting (fixed first morning). The restaurants are hard to book during the busy holiday seasons. We had options but also thought they lacked flare and tasty options. The food arrived spread out over 45 minutes and the kids meals never arrived until the 2nd time we prompted them. It was a similar situation throughout the week.Dairy allergies / intolerance beware…. Not many options for alternatives. The sunset after the storm was amazing and the kids loved the kids club even though the kids “events” never went as planned or at all.First dancers every night were pretty entertaining for the kids and the lighting of the torches by the shore by the “warrior” was great as well.
The staff are so friendly here! Made us feel like we were part of the family. Always greeting us when they passed us. Nothing was ever an issue! We had a small problem with our room that was no issue to us at all but Fiona arranged for us to have dinner covered by them. The food at all the restaurants was amazing.Room was clean & kept clean everyday. Whole resort was always clean. Saw them regularly pressure washing the outside of buildings. The guys at the front that greeted us when we arrived were more than happy to drive us around the resort in their golf carts.I can’t not say enough good things about staying here!Already planning for our next trip!Fiji is such a beautiful place & the people even more so!
I cant say the below is guaranteed as we arrived on a plane and we did go to another resort for a few days after our stay at Sheraton. (The next resort had great hygiene, is a much smaller resort with plenty of space between people etc).15 Family members on holiday and many had diarrhoea during the stay at Sheraton and now have tested positive to covid. From the moment we arrived we all had the feeling we were going to catch something! Not much covid safe practice on site. Very little hand sanitiser in buffet area (across the resort in generalwith hundreds of people using the same utensils.Other issues were -Room had leaking water on floor from AC due to a pipe not being connected correctly.AC did not work one night.Clothes dryer burnt out creating a bad electrical smell.Washing machine had a leak that again went all over the floor.Room did not get cleaned one day.Food was average at best for the whole week.Waited 2 hrs for a main meal in one of the restaurants with very hungy kids.Staff are amazing but unfortunately they let us know that the new kitchen is too small and they cant keep up.Getting a drink in half an hour and you are stoked because it didnt take nearly 1hr and this was for the whole stay. This was all brought up to staff during our stay.It was Easter holidays, lack of staff due to covid and it was packed, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The Sheraton was overall OK. Good venue, staff are great and friendly as we all know Fijian people are.
The resort is great, rooms were great and staff very friendly. However service levels were poor. We had taken 3 rooms, when we arrived, there was just one room for 5 of us and a baby. Subsequently they found two more rooms for us, we were spread out across the resort. They promised to get us rooms together the next day but it just became so difficult that we just moved just one room which was on the opposite side of the resort. This was despite the manager having said that she had allocated 3 rooms together for us. The service in the restaurants was poor, we had to wait 2 hours for our meals on one occasion ! All restaurant meals are over- priced. However, despite all this we had a great relaxing holiday, the hotel facilities were facilities were great.
We had amazing time at Sheraton Fiji resort.Fiji is the friendliest destination I’ve ever been. Fijians are super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful and super relaxed. And that made our stay absolutely amazing. The resorts itself is beautiful. Nice design. Rooms are spacious with little terrace. Adult quiet pool, big pool for kids. Great location. We are vegans and the resorts are normally not vegan friendly but we got spoilt here. We just asked the chef and kitchen crew and they were all super helpful and prepared some delish vegan food for us. Proper 5* services with extra portion of friendliness.
