If you are always looking to satisfy your Tenderloin fix then do I have the place !!Everyone has a certain thickness/ overall size/breading type and bun that they seek when theyre jonesn for a good ole Iowa Tenderloin and Fazios University Tap hit all my numbers right on the head !!!It was PERFECT in all categories !! I was so impressed I failed to snap a pic of it !!! LOL But next time I will fight the urge and take a few seconds to document one of these beauties 😋❤Update: I had to stop back in this last Sunday morning to try the best Scramby Eggs on the planet !! They have what they have named " Grazzies Scramble "That is an amazing and delicious dish..Scrambled Eggs loaded with the local Grazianos Italian Meat Markets own Italian Sausage and served with two thick cut slices of Italian Bread !!Now that was brunch heaven ❤

Every Friday lunch special is tenderloin and tots for $9.50. Home of the $3.00 tall boy to wash it all down with! Small place but its cozy and laid-back! Were all family there!

I Ordered a bar food appetizer platter. All the choices were tasty with my Miller light tall boy. I will say that pretzel bites stood out from the others. Really good. 👍

Place was nice. Monday night. Bartender is a love! She was being told by too many people how to do a job shes clearly knowledgeable enough to do without instruction. Made me a little crazy as I am in that business. Cool touch tunes and great bar food! Customers treat you like old friends!

Lauren is lovely. She also needs not to be pushed around by cruddy customers, which I clearly saw this evening. Unfortunately I am not a fan of these types of individuals. They make her work twice as hard and dont appreciate her efforts or the affect they have on her to serve EVERY customer properly! Love the ambience and the small town feel of the place. Honestly, only 2 customers really made it a place that I feel bad for anyone who works there. No one should EVER be micromanaged by a "regular". Thats just not right.

Bartender/waitress was pleasant. Beers were cold. We got burgers and fries. Fries were okay, what youd expect for frozen fries. The burgers were disappointing. Definitely looked like they were preformed frozen patties and had no flavor. Seems like a place for older clientele to come and drink, but if youre on the bike trail looking for a place to eat, Id suggest riding on by. Also if youre looking for a patio and dont like cigarette smoke, this isnt the place for you.

Best bar in Iowa. Hands down. The regulars and the staff are amazing. They treat you like family. Free pool every night and fun karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If youve been looking for a great spot to relax and make friends, this is it!Edit: And the food is fantastic!

I make it a point to go there every Friday. They have the best food... Fridays are tenderloin baskets and I mean WOW... They are so good. Their guinea grinders and chicken salad are awesome as well. Some nights I cant decide so I buy all 3. The staff are great and friendly. Everyone there are like family. Every since Ive walked in Ive been accepted. Thanks.

We went on. Saturday, the staff was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the drinks were completely perfect. Had such a good time we went back for the all you can eat breakfast on Sunday, and we have even decided to hold our Christmas party here.

Great place! Workers are all nice. Karaoke is fun and free, so thats awesome! So many different drink specials they might forget what they all are 😂 mainly older crowd, but some upper 20s, early 30s crowd as well. Pool is free as well, so thats nice.

I used to love this place.... Until I realized that the DJ has a list of regulars that always sing the same songs.Worse though, he and his wife feel the need to sing every single rotation, regardless of how many people they have waiting.... Like, I get it, you like to sing, but you are taking up so much time..... Also.... Learn more songs. You are the DJ. You should have more than two songs in your personal repertoire.

We came to herebfrom Marshalltown to hear epihipany play. We really enjoyed the food and the fact that we could run a tab!!!! The mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings were to die for! We will be back!!!!

It always smells like mildew in here, patio can get pretty cramped. Bathroom is enormous and i love it. Always great service and an awesome place to stop for a beer on the bike trail.

This was a pleasant surprise! We ended up stoping at University Tap while celebrating a joint birthday party. As we walked in it was clear we were the youngest in there by at least 10 years. That was no matter to the staff or patrons. We were welcomed in eith open arms. They helped us celebrate the birthday party with several rounds of beers and karaoke. Prices were readonable and the ambiance definitely had a country feel to it.

It is a small space that is cozy and friendly. All the staff was super nice and attentive. Karaoke was fun. Prices were great. Will be back!

Just plain incredible. Food is on point. Bartenders are definitely some of the best in the area. Ownership is friendly! As a neighboring business owner I couldnt ask for better neighbors!

Good time to be had. Small place, and was packed. Pizza was recommended, and disappointing. Beer was good, I went with a local beer which was very good, but realized all too late that its a West Des Moines brewed beer. Horrible headache.Good karaoke though, and friendly service.

The finest little corner bar in Windsor Heights. Big covered deck, one of those internet tunes machines so you can play whatever music you like, 4 or 5 flatscreens and theyll put on whatever you want to see. Super friendly staff and the owners are great - they will probably be there hanging out too. If you come by a few times theyll likely have your drink ready about the time you grab a seat at the bar. Excellent specials and pizza.
