Ive been to many famous zoo parks across the world. This is one of the best in terms of quality of animals life. To me its the most important thing. Its not about "how many kinds of monkeys or birds does the zoo have". Its about their living conditions, how healthy and clean they are. I can honestly say that I was happy to see that this park has invested a lot of money in it. The animals look healthy and live in a relatively large spaces. No cages! I was also surprised to see bengal tigers, lions, leopards, cheetas, cougars, snow leopards - all in pairs. Its an impressive quantity given how much does it cost to keep them. So, my personal respects to the owners and sponsors of this park - please keep up the good work.

Quite impressive for the small cost to enter with lots of high maintenance animals. Lots to see and places to eat. Plenty of parking. Some of the rides werent open probably as it was low season but it really didnt matter. Very entertaining

Good day out - you can easily spend 3 hours there. Parking is 3 eur, even though you do not get any ticket or any other evidence that you paid, so not sure how they control it. Maybe based on a good will of clients. Train ride is not worth it - seems view is not so great from it. Many picnic areas with shades and playgrounds. Also, possibility to by ice cream and food on sight from many bars / cafeterias. Ideal place for relaxing with family. Would definitely recommend

Great place to go with kids. When we went it was extremely calm, not busy at all. Animals are all easy to see, especially the tigers and lions where a huge highlight. But also penguins, elephants, crocodiles and giraffes are a must see

The overall experience is nice as we went with toodlers. Can see all the expected animalsIt would be even more exciting if there is performance sessions or at least to see the zoo keeper feeding the animals.

Lots of animals, and the park is well organised and well kept. However the enclosures for the animals seem to be quite small, both for large and for small animals

This is single handle the best park/animal attraction to take the kids to!! Big, clean, with so many animals, everything was looked after and very safe. Sanitiser gel at every corner, few different kiddy areas. All the bars were closed today but not sure if that is always the case. Pic nic benches, cosy corners and a variety of species to see for all animal lovers

The park is very nice but dont take the park train...take you through the walls of grass...you dont see too much of the zoo and after you anyway have to take it on foot to see everything.

Excellent zoo as very compact, really green and does not feel at all that you are inside the zoo as animals have large places to live in. Features closely giraffes, elephants, tiger, hippopotamus, zebras, leopards. Takes about 3 hours to visit. We had lunch next to reptiles house. The restaurant serves salads, nuggets, french fries. Compared to other parks the salads were freshly made there, thus very good and fairly large. Greek salad, vegetano salad and eight nuggets was 22 euros and was enough for us to share. Next to the restaurant is large kids playground. You can enjoy sitting at the restaurant while kids play. Toilets were clean. At least one had separate baby room. Large parking lot next to the zoo, costs 3 euros.

I think it has the right size, not too small, not too big.. 4-5 hrs went by quickly and my kid (3 yrs oldwalked most of the time and didnt complain. There are not a lot of animals, but enough to keep the kid interested.

This is a beautiful place to take the children. We spent an awesome day with our girls. The place is clean and you can see its been taking care of. We ate a pizza that was cold and expensive, maybe we should of have chosen a better restaurant.

This is what it used to be called a zoo. They have a new fancy name for it, but its basically a lot of animals in cages. The ones in the new areas (e.g. the rhinos and zebraare lucky and have a good habitat with plenty of space. The older ones (e.g. the hipposhave a little more than a paddling pool and a bit of grass. The number of animals is good and the place is really well kept. There are no "feeding times", not even for penguins or seals. There are plenty of bars or restaurants or other places to eat, so no need to bring your own, but if you do there are also places to have a picnic indoors or outdoors. Its very very quiet outside holiday time, but very very busy in July and August. A nice place to spend a good day out with kids... As long as they are interested in animals, obviously.

More like a small nature reserve than a zoo. Extremely clean finished layout. Enclosures seemed roomy and well thought out so animals had some coverage if they were not too interested in the onlooking spectators. Prices great and overall fun and interesting day out.

We had a wet day in August so decided to visit the Zoo. Its quite compact but all the animals seemed well kept and with adequate room.We ate in the self service and the food was local and fresh, beer was good and cold.Price to get in was reasonable and food and drink fair.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a good afternoon out, seemed a little odd to pay three euro to park but this seems the Italian way.

Great palce for family... But it is too far from Bergamo City. Catch the 8B bus from Bergamo train station... Ive heard that there is direct bus to the park only on Sunday. So one should plan for Sunday. If you have your own vehicle. You should go on Saturday

Lovely zoo to spend a nice relaxing day with the kids :We all loved the day out! I suggest you dont leave seeing the elephants and giraffes for last because they are closed into their hides earlier than closing time and the kids were a bit disappointed.

Such an amazing and clean place!Went there with my family for the day and we really enjoyed ourselves. My 3 year old grandson was so happy to see all those animals. It is the best zoo/park that we have ever been to. Really clean and big. We will definitely go back for the day when we go to Bergamo. Not to be missed!

Beautiful zoo, an excellent variety of animals. They are focused on breeding programmes so you have the opportunity of seeing lots of baby animals. The food available is really nice as well and the people working here are super friendly. Would definitely recommend! Try and avoid really hot days.

I had a good trip in this zoo, the tigers are cute and lazy, there are a lots of flamingo and school toura kids, the atmosphere was cozy and very fun. The place is a little bit far away from Bergamo downtown, if you want to go by bus you can take the buses No.8 or 10, and then from the bus stop to Zoo, you have to walk there appropriately 15 minutes.

Visited this park countless times over the last 10 years and its alwyas been a great day out. It also seems to get better every year. Conservation work is admirable. Well done and thank you for some great memories. If there is one small area for improvement it would be the menu offered. Less junk food and more honest Italian dishes would be a massive improvement. In any case 5 stars
