Fath-Abad Garden - Tourist attraction in Bardsīr, Iran
Its beautiful place and amazing garden.
Fathabad Garden, also known as Biglarbeigi Garden, is one of the vast and beautiful gardens in desert lands of Iran that is located in Ekhtiarabad district of Kerman. Fathabad Garden is a reminiscence from Qajar dynasty and is said to be a model for Shahzadeh Garden of Mahan. Today, Fathabad Garden is overshadowed by the fame of this garden. The construction of Fathabad Garden began in 1803 by the order of Fazlali Khan Biglarbeigi, the ruler of Kerman in Ekhtiarabad village, during the reign of Mohammad Shah Qajar. It took five years to finish the construction of the garden which ended in 1808. Fazlali Khan had cultivated pistachios in the land around and processed this product in different parts of his gardenNext rulers of Kerman were known as Nosrat ol-Mamalek I and II, hold their ceremonies and passed their leisure time in Fathabad Garden. During Pahlavi dynasty, the garden, now owned by Rostam Khan Amiri, was endowed in 1973, after which it was not attended well. The Qanat of garden was dried up and the complex lost its glory. It was only after the Iranian Revolution that it was registered as a national heritage of Iran in 2002. Better late than never, the restoration began in 2014 and the garden was reopened one year later in 2015.
So nice place
Its not a bad place but i expected much more
Nice place. Quite similar to Shahzadeh Garden in Mahan. Compared to Shahzadeh Garden, it has much fewer trees and less green space, but much nicer buildings with well-decorated insides. It is perfect for shooting some nice photos.
The best game club
The stunning light works truly calms your mind especially in the silence of the night. Definitely a beautiful place to visit. Can’t wait to have the day experience next time as well as the night 🥺🤍🇮🇷😍.
Approximately 17km away from city center, it is not too far to ignore it! This beautiful garden and its mansion has an outstanding view at night! Lightwork is pretty awesome for capturing photos. Left from Qajar-era, its traditional style is similar to Shazdeh Mansion in Mahan. Just like Shazdeh Garden, it is located in deserted area.
you cant believe it, Its such a wonderful garden. the best time to see is at night a really good palace to take photos.
Beautiful Persian garden , specially in night.
If you want to see fath abad garden only go at night, in presence of full moon and the light it will be so beautiful. Because of the weather and the place of it, in days you wont enjoy it
One of beautiful Persian garden in Iran. It was abandoned till decades but after its restoration a ruin turns into a masterpiece. It is around 20 km far from Kerman centre. This is big and it has beautiful mansion in the centre. There are places for restaurants and sitting but now its not working. This garden look more beautiful in late evening with its colourful lights. It increases its beautification. You must visit this site. Its worth to visit.
A nice place to visit.
A nice and calm place to visit. Cozy mansion with a walking way beside.
It is very beautiful and spectacular I recommend this garden to visit Kerman, Kerman has a lot of tourist attractions.
Fath Abad or Biglarbeigi Garden Masion is a historical/cultural site near Kerman, once dwelled by local governors during Ghajar dynasty (nearly 200 years agoand now categorized as what we know as Iranian Gardens. Allegedly this garden is a prototypical model for the more famous Shahzade Garden in Mahan, Kerman. The mansion has been recently restored and its now a spectacular tourist attraction but still in need of more touristic facilities including tour guides, cafes and restaurants (the ones I can see now arent open and Im not sure when they are)
Beautiful and memorableLove to visit this place every time i can travel to Kerman city
One of the best! You must visit here at night, otherwise you miss the true beauty of this garden.
The Fath Abad garden is related to the Qajar period, located 25 km from the center of Kerman, the city of Ekhtiyar Abad. This garden is a model for the construction of the Shazdeh Mahan Garden. In addition to the main mansion, with two floors in the center of the complex and in the north of the main pond, there are four seasons in mansion in the west.
Very nice place
Under reconstraction and most important features are unavailable to enjoy. Such as reflection pool, upstairs, etc. But they still charge the full amount of 160 000 Riyals per visitor, and only give a ticket if you insist!..!?Nothing else is worth a visit nearby. Best to skip the area..
A nice place for a relaxing walk and enjoying a beautiful old building and garden in front of that.
I love this place. After ressurection, this place is unique. I defenitly reccomend it to you...
This manor and gardens were built around 180 years ago near Kerman and the place is just magnificent and very well kept. You can sample local Kermani cuisine here as they have many sitting areas for you to enjoy your "bozghormeh" there. The aura of this manor is just breathtaking.
This place give you a great feel of a old traditional house, dont lose it!
Its one of famous Iranian gardens in Iran; gardens pop up in deserty areas and Kerman is close to Lut desert. One beautiful thing about this place is that there are some traditional shags made of palm leaves which is main ingredient in Kerman city which one of its main products is date.I didnt like the color of lights at night but they sure made the building in the middle of this garden and its reflection on the pool in front of it eye dazzling.I really liked the spirit of those shags and how local people were hanging out around them and on the seats on left and right side of the building.
It`s an amazing place and one of the best historical places in Kerman I heard that they build Shahzadeh Garden from here and the idea is from here and it`s not that far because their same but I think Fath abad Garden is much more beautiful and older although Shahzadeh garden has more natural atmosphere. It`s reconstruction finished recently and I think it`s about two or three years. It`s a little bit far from town and path is not cool but it does worth it.It`s so sad that it was not open for many years. Suggested 100 percent.

Fathabah GardenFathabad garden is located 16 km North West of Kerman, according to historians, this pattern has been used to constructing Shazdeh Garden in Mahan. The history of the construction of the garden is around the year 1255 (Hijri-Shamsi), In Qajar period. Fathabad memorial garden “Fazl Ali Khan Biglarbeygi” was the ruler of Kerman. That is why it is also called Biglarbeygi Garden. The Fathabad Qanat water passed through fathabad Garden in the past, and it was so refreshing and lovely. The Fathabad Garden with its old and valuable history, for a long time had been abandoned and damaged and most of the trees have dried up.Fathabad Garden- before reconstructionFathabad Garden- before reconstructionBy effeorts of “ Kerman Moghoofat Foundation and development “ under the auspices of the cultural heritage, restoration and reconstruction of the garden began in 1392.the garden is now in the final step of restoration process, the garden will become a Tourisim Destination and all tourist are welcomed to visit this garden.
I was on the way to Yazd. I saw the sign of the garden and went there. I was surprised by everything thing about it. The reflection of the building in water is very cool.
It a beautiful historical garden with amazing persian architecture
Qajar landmark in the outskirt of Kerman city is a must-see and oustanding attraction.
It doesnt have anything special historically but it definitely worth visiting because of the beautiful lightening at night and the refreshing atmosphere in the cafés around
Fath Abad garden,is one of the most beautiful gardens in lran and a valuable historical place made in Qajar period.I suggest to visit this beautiful garden at nights. it is more beautiful in darkness of nights.
I was there with a friend of mine , the place is very beautiful and silence you experience there can not be compared to shazde garden in mahan.
A jewel in the desert. Amazing garden and building with beautiful lighting at night.
Its beautiful place and amazing garden.Mahan shazde garden based this garden.
Very beautiful garden
the best historical place in kerman for tourists.
Nice to visit once.
You find some things about past time of Iran
Amazing tiny palace with Iranian architecture and definitely worth visiting there and spending couples of hours
An old big house and garden that is recently renovated. Due to especial lighting, it is highly recommended to be visited during the night. It is open until late night during the summer.
It is too nice and historical with delicious dishes. It is so brilliant
The garden is beautiful for a visit in afternoon. The restaurant unfortunately was terrible. The food was cold and oily and overpriced. The waiters not capable of answering. There is no restroom in the restaurant. Just one for men at the entrance.
The Garden was absolutely beautiful, they provided a seris of boards that introduces past Kerman governors and kings up to recent time. Unfortunately there was no English description for the boards, which makes it really difficult for international tourists to get a sens of this historic Garden and its use and function. Overal its a beautiful place. definitely worth it. Price for local is 25000 Rials (less than 1 USD $and for internationals is roughly 3 USD $.
A very beautiful historical garden which has been repaired recently (2014). It has been built around 1876.
Nice lighting at night. Very well decorated gardens and buildings for city escape. Restaurant and tea selection makes pleasant evening.
Newly renovated. Tickets cost 2500tomans. A must visit if youre in Kerman.
