Our tour guide Reece was amazing! He was a brilliant storyteller and brought the history of Berlin to life, could not recommend him enough 🫶

Very good bike rental. The bikes are in a good state and they give you a extra lock so your bikes are safe. Its very affordable we payed 25 euros for a bike for Saturday to Monday. The person working at the rental was very kind and very helpful.

We did the 3hr tour, it was a great experience. I was an easy pace to keep up with. Our guide Simon was awesome, very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend it if you want to see most of the main sites in Berlin in a short period of time.

I typically do bike tours in new cities but this one was by far the best - the highlight of our trip to Berlin! We had Reiss and he was incredible! Super funny and smart and made the experience that much better. We learned a lot on our tour that was helpful to know before we went to other places on our own during our trip. Highly recommend this tour and Reiss as a tour guide :)

Highlight of our trip to Berlin. So informative. Ricard / Ricky was AMAZING. So many good stories and I finally have some sense of how the Berlin Wall worked. He pieced it together beautifully for us and there were so many "aha" moments for us. Would recommend 100 percent.

Wow! The highlight of our trip to Berlin. Artie was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, charismatic and funny. We did the three hour highlights tour and could not be happier with our experience. Would recommend to all family and friends. The bikes were also the best hire bikes we have ridden - comfortable, in good condition and great names. As Aussies we especially liked ‘Big Maxxxxy Gawn’.

Artie is the best tour guide I’ll start there. Secondly it was an awesome experience for anyone who would like to learn more about Berlin in a variety of different topics …. Artie was very good at explaining everything in a digestible and fun way. He ensured that we safe when biking through the city and encouraged us to ask questions… 10/10 experience, would recommend!

BEST CYCLING TOUR EVER!! We took a 3 hour tour, a group of 12 people visiting Berlin over the weekend. Sam (name of the guidewas just awesome. Inspiring to listen to, very good knowledge of the subject (history of Berlin). He was a student at the university with a major in History. Funny, smart. The ride easy easy to do, you dont need to be an athlete to do the ride. Along the way you will see famous buildings and important places in the Berlin history.

Had excellent 3 hr Berlin highlights bike tour with Artie. He has wealth of information and is very passionate about history of Berlin.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide Pete balanced humour and information well and we came away feeling like we’d had a fun history lesson. Berlin is perfect for cycling as it’s so flat and there are cycle lanes almost everywhere so don’t be put off by any nervousness around that element. The guides ensure the group stays together and the 3 hours flew by. One of the highlights of our trip.

After my first time touring with them in Paris, I knew an outing with Fat Tire would be on my list for Berlin. With only one day free at the end of my work trip, this was the perfect fit. A friend and I did the 6 hour City Tour, and it was fantastic. In addition to having a great group to tour with, our guide Anthony was unbelievably knowledgeable, taking us for a trip through the last 700 - 1000 years of local history over the course of the ride. He kept our group so engaged throughout the day that we ran over by 40 minutes, despite finishing in the rain! Will absolutely book another tour with Fat Tire next time I’m able.

The city tour was amazing! Our guide Simon was incredibly knowledgeable and also quite funny. I’m sold on Fat Tire Tours now and will look for more of them as we travel around Europe.

Excellent tour through Berlin. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. Went with two kids, ages 16 and 13, and they also really enjoyed it. The bicycles were also in very good condition and were easy to ride for the 3 hours of the tour.

We did a 3 hour Fat Tire tour yesterday of Berlin. It was the highlight of our holiday. Sam was an amazing tour guide, with outstanding knowledge and clearly explained everything, even making us all laugh on multiple occasions. A fantastically interesting tour. Would highly recommend. The cycling is great fun and not too intense.

Peter was a very good guide! He has a good sense of humor and was very helpful. He advised us some great bars and restaurants! Definitely five stars!!

Really great experience ! I had the 6h tour and it was the best way to visit Berlin since there are bike lanes everywhere. Our guide (Thorwas very knowledgable and fun to chat with. The restaurant where we ate had a variety of classic german food and beer. Overall a good way to start visiting a city.

I attended the 3 hours bike tour about the highlights of the city. If you’re new to Berlin is a amazing way to learn something about the highlights. Our tour guide Artie made tour extra fun with his insightful history facts of the DDR, the war and post victorian age Germany.It was such fun i almost regretted that i didn’t book the 6 hour tour.

Cant recommend this tour highly enough! My wife, our two teen daughters, and I loved every second of our 3-hour ride/ tour and learned so much about German and Berlin history. Artie is an incredibly knowledgeable guide with a good and dry sense of humor and poignant insights into Germanys past and present. The bikes are great and the riding was lovely on a warm August morning.

My teenage son and I really enjoyed this tour of Berlin. We started to understand the history and geopolitics, having been confused so far in our visit. Our guide was excellent and the supporting team in the shop were professional and kind too. We weren’t rushed, even though we were behind schedule and our guide was still willing to take personal photos of the guests. The bikes were comfortable and really easy to ride . Only three gears and that suited the level terrain of Berlin perfectly.

Our family of 4 (including kids aged 12 and 14all really enjoyed the Berlin highlights tour. It covered a good distance at a reasonable pace for occasional and not very confident/competent cyclists! Max of 20 on the tour seemed a good number.Great choice of sites to stop at, and hugely informative and interesting tour from Artie, who was very knowledgable and good humoured. He also thoughtfully found shade whenever possible for stops on a hot and sunny day - thank you!Also great customer service - I had made a mistake with the booking and they sorted it out for me quickly and easily - there were lots of options to contact them but they responded at the first opportunity to an email sent out of hours.Highly recommended.

Can’t recommend enough. Nate our guide had an encyclopaedic knowledge and a great sense of humour. If you’re interested in the cold war, this is the tour for you. The cycling was wonderfully easy and safe: we only rode on relatively quiet streets.

Artie elevated our trip with his fun and engaging personality. He knew his history well and articulated it well. He was real, funny and informative. The chalk drawing of The Cold War was the best explanation I’ve ever ever heard of that time period and he did it all in under 10 minutes! Thank you so much for this experience. This was a great tour. We’ve been on Fat Tire tours now in London, Paris, and Berlin and it’s such a great way to keep my daughter happy, get some exercise, and learn the rich histories of different cities all at the same time. Berlin has such a unique story, I’d definitely recommend this tour!

Dan was our guide for the day and he was awesome. He knew plenty about the sights we went to see. Ensured that we all managed to stay as a group throughout the bike ride through Berlin. It was a great experience! If you are curious to ride a bike in berlin or want to see all the important things in one day, this is the way to go.

We did the 3 hour highlights tour of Berlin. The weather was amazing and so was our tour guide Simon. He was in general just a fun guy who knows his things of Berlin. He did it in a interactive way and told us about the locations and even side stories around it. At the end he gave us his recomandations from things to de berlin.The shop personel where friendly and helped us with a problem in our booking. I would recommend doing this on your first day, so you know a bit from berlin.Again, a special shout out to Simon, for his information 50 cent was awsome

Did a 3 hour City Highlights tour with Anthony. Tour was great. All over the city, but didn’t seem like we were going so far and didn’t get tired. Anthony provided great insights into each stop. More than just what it was, but put the place into context and events. Really great. Great personality too. Group was very safe and clear about what to do and not do while riding around. Look forward to another tour with Fat Tire soon!

My family was skeptical, but they humored me for the bike trip to Potsdam. At the end, they all admitted it was a great experience. Our guide Ronin was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the history. It was a small group, which helped. Bikes were sturdy and well maintained. We did plan ahead and booked the last tour of Sanssouci - the tour does not go inside the castles, and I think it would have been a shame to miss the interiors. He made sure we had plenty of time to work it out. Highly recommended - the area is too big to walk it all, and the guide did bring the buildings to life.

Great experience. I did the Berlin Highlights tour with 5 friends as part of a larger group and we all loved it! The tour was interesting, educational and fun. Our tour guide, Ronan, was exceptionally knowledgeable on all the sights and was able to answer all of our questions! 10/10 would do again.

In my 6 day trip to Berlin I didn’t meet anyone who explained the history and nature of Berlin as well as our tour guide Ronan. He was incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly friendly! I highly recommend this trip if you want to see and understand Berlin.

Great tour! Anthony was very knowledgeable and getting some fresh air (and a little rainwas definitely worthwhile. Not super strenuous, so it should suit most everyone. Highly recommend.

We did the 6 hour bike tour of Berlin and had a great time! Alicia was a great guide - funny and informative - and she kept an eye on us to make sure no one got left behind. She was happy to answer questions and had a great attitude. Berlin is such an amazing city with a very complicated history…and she was able to break it down and “untangle” the different story lines. The routes were easy biking, even for beginners, and Berlin feels like a pretty safe city to explore on bike, so I would definitely recommend it. We love Fat Tire Bike Tours and are looking forward to our next one in Florence!

We had a fantastic private tour thanks to Thor. He was incredibly knowledgeable, fun and engaging throughout the afternoon. It was brilliant and the communication from Fat Tire was also excellent. Highly recommended!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 6.5 hour bike tour with Nate. We were a small group of 10 which was perfect and Nate’s instructions regarding what to expect traffic wise between stops was excellent. I felt totally safe the whole time. Nate provided great insight into the history of Berlin in a very uncomplicated way. I loved his visual representation using a chalk diagram of the geographic position of Germany, the build up to the iron curtain and Berlin Wall. I have a much greater understanding of this period in German history. I highly recommend this tour and am so happy I chose to do it.
