Had a lovely morning at Farrell Flat Hotel and a chat with the owner Chef, who was initially a bit grumpy, but warmed up as we talked. He was telling us that lots of people come to take photos of the Silo Art opposite the hotel, some even park in dedicated hotel parking then jump back in their cars and drive off. It would be great if we could support local businesses, so why not go inside, have a tea, coffee, beer or a wine. The Farrell Flat red is pretty good! Have a look around Chefs eclectic collection of signs and memorabilia. There is also accommodation, caravan parking and camping on site. Thanks Chef for a great morning, hope business picks up for you.

Such a wonderful establishment. The owner was so friendly and great to chat to! The place was filled with so much personality and it is clear how much love has gone into decorating each room. If youre visiting Farrell Flat definitely pop in for a drink or a meal.

Loved the Silo art. Have our own coffee in our van but wanted to support small businesses. Ordered coffee’s and got told they only make flat whites, thats not a worry….. then we received instant coffee!! Again fine as we are not coffee snobs but then to be charged $5 a cup!! Sure meals sre probably better. Just don’t go for a coffee!!

Being a Solo traveller, I felt very welcome and safe here. Chef showed me my overnight site which was secure in this cute little town.Lovely to enjoy the best and fast disappearing Country Pub atmosphere. The Owners are happy to share a wealth of history of the area, and fun repartee. Also shares his wine knowledge with you.They do it all including really, really great meals.A great experience.

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend and had an absolute riot. Hat off to Chef for being such a good host. Food was spot on too.

Great place to stop during our visit of the Clare Valley area.Stayed out the back in our van, met a few other travellers, had pre dinner drinks in the garden with them and then dinner inside. Enjoyed our steak, snitzel and chips then played some free pool. Managed to find the hidden elephant on the silo art!

Very interesting stayed out the back for a couple of days and Chef is a interesting character

Great meal, I had the fish and chips, friendly bartender has a great beer garden. Has a few dog that are very friendly. Plenty of parking and right opposite the newly painted Silo. You should pop in for a coffee..... :)

Didnt go to the Pub but opposite was the new "Silo Art" - brilliant. Old railway station ( private residence nowond ornate brick watertank tower - part of our railway heritage.

Food is yummy and lots of it Very clean and cosy lovely people. Its the only pub that you dont have to pay to ply pool. Just Fantastic

Unique country pub - definitely worth a visit as the food is great and the accommodation clean and more than adequate.What adds to the experience is Chef and Cheryl, who are excellent hosts with an edge on doing things differently.Conveniently located midway between Burra and Clare.Our group of 8 will be back - our only suggestion would perhaps be a mirror in each bedroom and to be aware that UNAUTHORISED transactions are made on your credit card -

Only a flying visit to drop of a hand made leather waistcoat to the landlord?,From the leather n shoe repairs manRobbie in riverton,So cant really comment on what this place was like apart from a happy customer,,The landlord,,And a cheery few people in the bar,Seemed very nice.We will visit nx time and have a meal n drink with them

When we came to Farrell Flat Hotel we thought that it would be a short stay, but... we ended up staying there for more than 3 months.The hotel owner, Chef, is a very genuine person, who always goes out of his way to make your stay better, plus he´s just a great guy to hang out with. He can cook some really great meals, his kitchen is always immaculate and everything is clean all around the hotel. He values his hotel the same way he values his customers and it´s nothing but pure joy to stay there and be a part of it yourself.So, although we were far from home when living in Farrell Flat, it felt like home might not be so far away after all. We definitely recommend this pub and hotel to everyone who wants to experience the real Aussie hospitality.Thank you, Chef!

Lovely,unique ,old hotel.... The hotelier was friendly and had lots of interesting stories to share, he is also a chef and made us a lovely breakfast.Only 20km from Clare..... Worth a visit....

Great pub in the bush. Lunch was yummmy

Nice spot but watch out for Google Maps. It will lead you on a wild goose chase down dirt roads. If google leads you down a dirt road youve gone too far (going north). Turn around and go back find the bitumen road you pasted on the way. Rooms comfortable. Separate shower and toilet friendly People. Hospitable. Breakfast

This pub is over 100years old. Go on down for a unique experience definitely one of if not the coolest front bars you will ever see.Meet the publican and owner of this fine establishment "chef" tell him jesse sent you (hell know who you meanbeaut meals and accommodation available. A must visit spot for sure!
