Farm Chokchai - Farm in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand
I’m full. Delicious steak n milk.
If you have seen ptt and pt, this is good stop for a change. You can eat, take a drink or do some shopping.
Good place for ice creams and umm milk products. The museum was closed except for the zoo which is not well maintained one. The 3 tigers which are rare are pale and look exhausted. Other things are good for kids.
Had fun feeding the animals, playing UTV and taking pics in the farm. Steak burger was not nice though.
We spent around 30 minutes at this farm on our way back to Nakhonpathom on 13th June 22. This place is a farm where you can buy fresh dairy products. Most visitors to Korat do stop here for a snack. The place seems well managed.
Very good to explore farm & eat food farm products
Animal feeding for sheep, cows rabbits, goats and even an elephant. Children enjoy pony ride and UTV car. Idyllic farm animals roaming and swings for children to enjoy. Nice ice cream.
We had arrived just as everything was starting to close but still managed to enjoy some of the beautiful scenery around this place and will consider coming back to have a more detailed look around next time. There is alot of beautiful places to take photos here. It’s also a good place to stop after a long drive on the highways as there is places open to eat here. check out my YouTube The Travelling Social Worker
Ive decided not visit Chokechai farm after spend money a lot, but always my car bring us to go there to enjoy tasty icecream.Always nice scenery there are also, if you doubt, you can check how there is.
The place is well organized, I had a burger it’s expensive and average. The ice cream was also ok. There is lots to see, very clean , lots of parking but also the elephant I felt awful seeing it. 55 years in captivity.
Great place to stop by on the way back to Bangkok. Overall food items price are on the higher side but quality is good.
My childhood memory place. Always feel like a child when you go there, best burger 🍔 as well.
Theres live riding horses and ice creams the best and if you want to take a tour on the farm its available a little pricey but fun
Chokchai Dairy Farm is a great place for the kids to see and feed animals like cows and sheep. decent food and fresh milk. pony rides. steak house. fun day outdoors. enjoy!
Very nice agrotourism object with many entertainment and food options. Im especially impressed with their ice cream made of fresh milk, homemade chocolate and cheeses.
This is indeed a HUGE farm with different stationswe ride ATV which was fun. The activities were well planned and organized in a systematic manner. Also volunteers from the audience get to participate in milking the cows which made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone. The farm is well kept and clean. There are eateries in the farm and a souvenir shop where we purchase momentoes for friends back home.Indeed a fruitful and delightful time spent in the farm.some parts require you to walk. Pls wear a hat or bring umbrella because its really hot!!
Fun place to take the kids. Lots of stuff to do and animals to see. Good food to try, jerky, cheeses etc...Havent tried the burgers but they look good!
Nice place to stop by when on the way or way back from khao yai. Much entertaining for kidsPrice as per me? $ this is just for animal feeding, no idea about restaurants.Parking? Yes they have their own parking
Felt poor about the animal in the cage. They called it zoo but it didnt seem like a zoo. Not worth to pay to go in the museum. Still many things to do out side such as, riding a pony, feed a goat etc.
It was a good experience feeding sheeps, calves, rabbits, elephant and lambs. Farm is well maintained and beautiful. You can also enjoy atv and utv rides. Kids will surely love this place.
Introduce you to farm operations. Good tour except it is mostly in Thai language. Would be better if they can provide audio aids in English so that you dont feel lost during the tour.
Good for dropping by on Weekday. Price is expensive but quality is great. Variable souvenir like beef Jerky and Ice-cream. There are also activities for family and kids to enjoy.
Joined the farm tour at 10am. Started with a briefing, introduction to the Supercow, miking process, diary production, tractor cart ride through plantations and followed by free and easy time where you can play carnival games, ATV and horse rides....then back to the souvenir shop at the main entrance. It will take a a out 2-3 hours. Enjoyable and plenty of photo opportunities...
It was more fun learning about running a farm & the different activities that were lined up. The grounds are huge & the engaging for the little ones. Special mentions include cowboy show & the sheepdog missions.
The farm tour spends about 2-3hrs depending on how you want to spend it. They brought us to a few different stations. Staring from how they reproduced the farm, milking cow, ice cream testing, then bring you on a trailer to travel arnd the farm... then end up at the last station which is the cowboy station. Here you can ride bicycles, ride ATV, pony and horseback riding is also available. Lots of photo spots. The food is fine. My kids love it. All in all, a good place to start for your holiday with the kiddos...
Cool place to look around. Lots if various produce available. Great for kids to pet and feed the farm animals. Some good photo opps too.
Steaks are not as good as they used to be. Smaller portion (thus considered pricey to dine here, steaks are not cooked as ordered, some great menus in the past have been removed.28.7.19 foods are okay. Their pork sausages are quite good.
Good place to get educated on the farm industry in Thailand, seeing cows as well as other products of milk. Very educational and also plenty of pretty landscape for photos
Quite boring experience as the commentator speaks mostly Siamese language and their English is not comprehendible. Do expect a lot of flies from the smelly cow dunk. The best part of the show tour is when the cowboys performing with the whip on stage. Highly recommend on their ice cream, they have the most creamy ice cream here. Overall a fond visit.
Fun place for family. Many activity and lot of souvenirs in front of the farm. Farm tour open from Tuesday to Sunday. Better book tickets in advance if comes during weekend. Inside, they will show milk production, ice cream factory, show around the huge farm and end with cowboy show. Approx 2 hours per show round. Each tour will have one assigned guide who conducts show round in both Thai and English. Overall worth paying.
Took the tour of the museum and was able to see some of the personal collections of the Thai Cowboy. Great learning experience for kids to see where hamburgers and ice cream comes from...LOL
Very nice and good place located in Bangkok. Our family love that place very much. Its a very quiet and entertained place and area. Good for kids too. Good and nice place. Near Khao Yai, Thailand.
A good farm to visit in Khaoyai. The farm tour is very well organized and you get to see a little of everything, and even sample some fresh milk. There is enough time for every stop to enjoy the activities. The show is interesting and after the show there is time for the adults to try out the ride and the kids can play with the little flurry. The place is clean and well maintained, the kiosk at the end sells some light refreshments. All in, a good place to visit.
A good place to visit,, Join the tour and the tour has its time, so you have to check the tours schedule on the day,, You can ride the horse, you can watch the cowboy show, the dog show, etc,, A lot of fun for a day,, Really enjoy the tour in every single minute,, The staff explains the tour in Thai languages but dont worry because the staff will give you extra care to you to enjoy the tour,, Have a great fun, a great knowledge about the farm, a great time in one day,,
This place is very large. It is a good place to go with family. You will get to tour of their farm but you need to buy the ticket. It is not expensive for feeding sheep and cow, and took a picture with horse.Milk products are good. Ice-cream is great. There us a steak house nearby. The quality of food is average but quite pricey.
OK, its a good place to go with family. And for a quick view and understanding of a farm. For first timers read! U need to buy tickets for the allocated times. U cant go into the farm as u pls. There is a time to follow and they will guide u. Make sure u go early to buy ur tickets and plan for nearby activities for the wait.
Reasonable nice working farm for city folks. Visit to the farm are via batches and move within the farm on schedule show - 1020am, 11am, 1140am onwards. Quite well-conducted but somewhat quick paced.. but this is a commercial farm after all.. nice cafe and restaurant with the farm produces for meals and purchase. Each visit lasts about 2hrs. The cowboy show segment is likely an anti-climax to the visit.. which glumpy-faced faced cowboys performers...
A good place for family with kids. A must try is the ATV ride which is fun. Dont fall for the 3 for price of 2 promotion though as this promo only allows 1 round of ride. Pay slightly more and you can enjoy 2 rounds of fun. The museum and farm tours had selected timing, so do check it out first to avoid disappointment. You may book in advance through their website. It doesnt allow entry into the museum without tour (strange!!)
Need to pre book , they got a few sessions for the tour . Famous place for tourist. A cow farm. They will explain to you with Thai language with very limited English and so I could not understand much, but there are posters with English to explain, a bout the breed of cow they rare. Besides, they will show how to milk a cow and let u experience abt it. Then they will show you their factory for dairy products (just a small part, there are a few beautiful scenery for taking photos . Other include cow boy show, dog show, horse riding and others activities. The whole tour take abt 2 hrs.
Not manage to take the tour where need to do booking few days ahead. Visit to museum indoor and outdoor instead. cost thb200 per person. Consider reasonable price. Kid will love this place, horse riding, animal feeding include goat, cow, elephant, rabbit. Recommended.
The counter is further up from the alighting point. Need to book in advance as it is quite popular with tourists, ticket for adult is B$300. We arrived at 10.20am but need to wait till 1.20pm to get the earliest tour on Tuesday. The tour will take 2hrs. The first 45mins will go through the breeding, milking and the bottling stations. The last station is further in the farm with a short cowboy show and dog show. There you can ride horses and ATV, play at a few game stalls. There is also a snack and drinks stall inside. While waiting for the tour, there are many places to feed the animals like sheep, cows, rabbits, goats and elephants along the road outside. B$100 for a basket of food. The sheep and cow feeding station is very well designed with washing basin and soap next to them. There are a souvenir shop and a local food and snacks shop for tourists to purchase. A burger shop and a steak restaurant were outside the entrance too. The food is a little more pricey and average too. A very well planned place to keep tourists occupied, especially young families.
We booked the Farm Tour a week before arriving. It was very well organized! Tour guide was clear, eloquent. Covered many aspects of cow rearing, from breeding method to milking to dairy bottling to fresh milk ice cream (everyone gets a free sample). We were transported to each station in a tractor tram that was comfortable despite the continuous rain. Ended with the cowboy show which was entertaining. Overall, highly recommended!
Steaks are good, the area is very large. You will get to tour a portion of their farm, while listening about their history. Each tour take 2 hours to finish. They also have a dog show and cowboy show as well. I dont find those show interesting, but I like spending time with their horses, dogs and cows while surrounded by a green vast area.
Before entering the entrance, near to the parking bay, the kids can enjoy to milk the calf or feed the sheep. The entire tour took half a day.I have pre-booked the tour through email with them. The entrance ticket was 900bath for 2 adults and 2 kids.Unfortunately we do not have luck to follow a big group of tour which they can have special arrangement for English introduction. Most of the explanation were made in Thai languages. The tour started with a video (Englishintroduce the rules and regulations of chok chai farm. Then move to another location where they will bring in a huge cow (this time explanation was made in thai). After that was the "milking" time. 10 volunteers can take part for "hands on" to squeeze the milk. Then you will be directed to visit their factory, again explanation was made in Thai). You will get a chance to ride the caravan tractor which will bring you around the farm. It will stops at the cowboy show venue. Before the shows starts, there are some free time for horse riding, ATV, kids can also enjoy a round of pony riding with some charges. The tour ends after the cowboy show.
This was our favorite place in Khao Yai. There are fixed timings for the farm tours so get your driver or guide to pre-book the tour especially if you have a large group. We spent almost 2.5 hours in the farm. The tour consists of various stops including an introduction to the Super Cow, cow milking and a cowboy show. We enjoyed the stop at the final stop as it was surrounded by vast spaces of the farm and there are many activities for any age group. For kids, there are game stalls, pony rides and ice cream! For city dwellers like us, the farm is such a nice break from the concrete jungle. A must do in Khao Yai.Side note- there are lots of cafes and shops near the car park leading to Farm Chokchai. The highlight was the feeding of the calves and sheep for 100thb - they are perpetually hungry! The farm was our last stop before we head back to Bangkok and it was definitely an awesome way to end our stay in Khao Yai.
Not so much options for food for Muslim tourist. Only coffee and milk (delicious chocholate milk by the wayand cookies. Educational trip if you got time to spare 😅 and great photo op when the truck tour stop by for shows and walk around. Rent the bike for the photo op. Worth it 😘
Love their Milk Product so much. I rarely came here but it always be my stop point. Their Soft cream (Yogurt Softservewas delicious.Children will be enjoy here. You can feed little cow, sheep, rabbit and ride a little pony, elephant.
If milking a cow is on your bucket list in Thailand then you’ll get a chance to volunteer and do it at Farm Chokchai. It’ll cost you 300THB for a ticket to get in for a 2 hour stay which includes a short talk and video guide on how they retrieve sperm from bulls and inseminate heifer. So great time to talk to your kids about how babies are made. This is about the 3rd time I’ve been here and things have changed a bit. The tours are a bit longer due to additional attractions including a dog and trick show. The cowboy shows still there and fun to watch .There are a few new scenic spots to take selfies on the farm and there are now elephants. One thing that really changed is the free ice cream give outs. Chokchai also produces a line of ice cream and previously you’d get a small cup to sample. Now you’d get about a table spoon sample. Come to think of it I should knock off a star just for that. But I won’t.This is a good place to take your kids because let’s be honest there’s not really a whole lot to do for kids in Bangkok so this place is a good day trip. Kids tickets cost 150THB.
Good place for family visit. Tour at the morning and afternoon. Interesting tour but only Thai speaking. Good to spend half day in the farm.
A family-fun and educational + adventurous farm visit. Learn how to milk the cow, make ice cream, enjoy cow-boy activity. Worth your time visiting.
