28 Thackeray Mall, Fareham PO16 0PQ, Gorom-Gorom
Retail mall complex featuring over 80 stores, including a department store and major brands.
Such a shame , I liked going to the shopping centre . It was always busy , there were lots of shops to chose from , now it just seems like its dying . You still have Boots , Superdrug , next amd your other stores but its just not the same anymore .
A few shops closed like all high streets, but usually find what I want.
Looking old and jaded, more empty than full stores and more proof that e-commerce is and will determine the demise of the Shopping Centre
Parts of the centre had vacant shops which was very sad. A sign of the times.
Nice place to pop into if in the area. Good selection of shops.
Great choice of shops, easy parking, very clean
Very nice shops and easy to get around. Good parking too.
Nice place but such a shame so many shops in here are now closed down
Apart from a handful of shops most of it is closed up. Unless they start filling it soon I can see this closing down.
Good selection of stores, eateries and independent traders.
Small well organised shopping centre which is still fairly popular and full of shops. A real breath of fresh air.
Very good multi storey car park and affordable parking charges
Its very sad to see the shopping centre nowadays the way it is. Its always very busy but there are very few quality shops.
Surprising number of shops in here. The centre is not very modern, but had all you need. Clean toilets, choice of cafés, wide aisles, easy parking ....
Lovely shops, lots of cafes to choose from. Can get most things you need
Its ok as shopping centres go, but it would be nice to see more menswear designer shops
Used to be brilliant shopping mall, but theres not quite the choice anymore. Quite limited. They have lost some good shops. If its clothing etc... probably better going to West Quay or similar.
Well laid out, pleasant cafe area good selection of merchandise
It gets more and more depressing with less shops also its full of little rides (so annoyinghowever you do have soft play down one end! Its free too!
A nice place to shop in. B&M had lots of special offers that i wanted to buy.
Went charity shops and the crown the crown wasnt up to standard I sat down for a sec and was surrounded by flies which was in the pub wont be going again ಠ_ಠ
Having not visited the shopping centre for over two years I was amazed how many shops have closed down. Seems to be going down hill quite fast. Probably because of the expensive car park!
Doesnt look attractive with all the shops closed. Something needs to be done but in these economic crisis will be some time off
Lots of empty units which is a shame. Some quality shops, nice cafes on the High Street. Parking very pricey.
Good selection of shops and cafe/restaurants to enjo
Few good shops but very sad to see so many empty units.
This place makes me feel sad. I walked around it a few time now, and it is always empty and sad. But it is convenient. It has a few good shops.
I like this shopping centre and visiting frequently. There could be a better range of shops. Its a shame that larger shops have pulled out of being there.I will like Fareham more than Gosport
Visited on a Sunday. The inside mal was quite quiet. The public toilets were very clean. A very nice visit.
A well good place to shop has a lot of choices much cheaper than winchester all round and a much better range of different shop in Fareham stuff for all the family. Good eating places again so much better than Winchester and you get more food for less cost. Highly recommended to all.
Very clean and tidyThere are plenty of places to sit I between they wide range of shipsI Miss not having a department store
This place is massive, with the high street as well, but with this mall its like a maze.So many shops, you are likely to find what youre looking for here.
Always clean and tidy. But devoid of shops. 3 womens fashion shops and 1 mans.
It used to be a pretty vibrant shopping center with a few good clothing shops but it is very quiet today as well as only a few clothing shops left due to COVID I guessed. Pretty sad to see but COVID did had a big impact on the economy everywhere.
Lovely friendly people and there is a nice little market on monday ,fresh home made bread ,different exotic salads very tasty
Where are all the shops. Years ago a really busy precient. Total Shame. Betting shops hairdressers only. A disgrace. We are gradually losing high Street shops . What world 🌎
Sadly I hardly ever go in preceint now as theres so little, so many empty units its depressing in there, even the market has shrunk, I go to tesco for parking, maybe wilkos/tk max but thats it, its nicer the train station end for a coffee but the decline is just awlful
Suffering from the loss headline shops. Large empty sites. (Beales. Debenham.Very quiet. Need to find new uses or will close and be replaced by flats !
Loads and loads of shopsDidnt see one place selling grocery type stuff but amazing how friendly people and staff were
seems very quiet not many shops that I remembered. not the shopping centre fault but shopping centres are not like they used to.
Fareham shopping centre is quite a pleasant place to shop. It is spacious, clean including the toilets and plenty of benches dotted around. But as is now common in most retail malls, I am guessing about a third of the units are empty. It is a shame but that is the times that we now live. But a short walk takes you down to the Riverside where it is quite lovely to stroll and relax.
Good place for children with the soft play. My great grandchildren love it, 18 months, 3 and a half and 5.
Not a particularly inspiring centre. But convenient and everything you need is in one place. Could do with a general face-lift.
This place has gone downhill so much since opening I know the loss of bhs, marks and spencer,Debenhams and so many independent shops its like a ghost town at times ,it needs something like primark in there to generate footfall and it definitely needs a revamp it has hardly changed since opening.
Big scale shopping mall with the best public toilets I have seen in many years ! Fair walk if you arrive in Fareham by train. There is on rhs a collectors and antiques emporium needing an hour or two to get round.
Fareham shopping centre used to be a busy place, with plenty of shops open and a decent variety too. Its now a ghost town full of shuttered empty units, the walking dead, cheap jewellery shops, and mobile phone sales. Its depressing walking through there now.
A fairly usual shopping centre full of the usual shops and brands you get everywhere , nothing surprising or that interesting. Very confusing addresses where the mall has street names inside and some shops use them and some use unit numbers for the mall . The place seemed to be full of lost people asking where places are . I was stopped twice for directions whilst in there , one looking for Waterstones , and one searching for Amazon lockers .
Good shopping centre, I feel safe shopping generally with a good security presence in the Mall in Fareham, England, Good mix of shops but I noticed alot of empty shops.
This is the first time I have been in this Fareham Precinct in years. What a great experience, spotlessly clean everywhere, a good variety of shops, fantastic coffee area and a really good atmosphere. Cant wait to ho back again.
Great and quiet. It has nothing to be short of jealous of any other shopping centres right on the height street too. I normally go and work there at a cafe I like the energy and lighting of it. Last time I was in giartino cafe and I left happy with the service of the staff and how quick my order was to me and friendly atmosphere.
